For a pediatric dentist he should have more empathy and patience for his little patients but he doesn't! My 6 yr old had to get an extraction done and Dr Lee was very aggressive both physically and verbally. Expecting a child to not move or gag during a procedure is ridiculous. Scolded him for moving his legs and aggressively took off the gas mask from my child's face during the procedure because he was wiggling a little bit. the piece in his mouth was making him choke. Dr Lee didn't even bother adjusting it. That visit even traumatized me. I recently found out a few other people had similar experiences with this Dr. He should be removed from this practice. If I could give this place a negative star I would. To be honest, for a dentist he should be taking better care of his own teeth. I am definitely not bringing my kids back to this business.

Our dentist in new haven does not treat pediatric patients. We were referred to Childrens Dental Associates in Hamden. They got us in for an emergency visit within 24 hours. The staff there, especially Michelle and Dr. Chen were incredible. They put my son at ease, and explained every single thing they were doing for him. Once we went in for the exam, there was a TV attached the chair to keep the children occupied and they can choose any show or movie that they want. Our dental hygienist, Thiago was awesome. He was kind, patient and made my child feel very comfortable. What could have been a stressful experience turned out to be calm and relaxing thanks to him. We will definitely be back for another check up in six months!
