C&M does not get credit what we've achieved Our experience with this contractor was completely unacceptable THEY ARE NOT CUSTOM BUILDERS we pacifically asked for reinforced concrete for a car lift in the garage, which was on the blueprints. two months later they brought up that they FORGOT to add it. The project began with a signed contract that specified a monolithic poured foundation, yet somewhere along the way that was changed to a block foundation without our consent . A change of that magnitude should never happen without clear communication, written approval, and full transparency. Instead, the work no longer matched the agreement I originally signed, and no proper explanation or accountability was provided. Once the contract was signed, it was like a completely different ball game. Communication deteriorated significantly, follow-through became inconsistent, and getting straight answers became increasingly difficult. It quickly felt like the level of attention and professionalism that existed prior to signing simply disappeared. There is no professional designer involved. They add whatever is cheapest on their end. The construction manager is very unprofessional and if anything comes up he throws an attitude and will not correct whatever got addressed. Once that last draw was made they deny any responsibility in fixing anything still not fully resolved. The most frustrating part was that the two owners were essentially nonexistent throughout the process. Attempts to get clarity or escalation were met with silence or were passed off, leaving no real leadership or accountability when issues arose. Calls, texts, and emails often went unanswered, and important decisions appeared to be made without proper communication or client involvement. A contract is a binding agreement, not a suggestion. When major aspects of a project are changed without proper authorization and communication breaks down entirely, it raises serious concerns about integrity, reliability, and respect for the customer. What should have been a straightforward construction project turned into a stressful and frustrating experience filled with uncertainty and lack of trust. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution anyone considering this contractor to demand everything in writing, verify all changes, and ensure there is clear accountability before proceeding. It's been the worse experience of building our dream home but unfortunately we wanted the land that came with it. C&M is NOT what it was built from years ago. New owners(that have absolutely no construction skills ) took over and ruined everything Stonecipher had worked for. THEY ARE NOT THE SAME Company anymore. Please do the research and don't make the mistake we did. C&M Custom Homes is NOT your custom home builder.

We didn't have an appointment but were greeted warmly and immediately accommodated. The fact that we were dealing directly with the home designer, sans a middleman, and one of the partners greatly influenced our decision. To see our ideas being brought to fruition; guided by their expertise in design & construction further convinced us we found the perfect builder. They offered a higher standard while staying within our requested budget. Once under contract, they handled everything. They let us know what stages were being executed and when our input was needed. Choosing options (exterior/interior colors, fixtures etc.) wasn't overwhelming because they guided us through the process. Their patience and expertise kept us on track. We marveled at the Amish worker's precise craftsmanship and skill, and were greatly impressed on how the Project Supervisor orchestrated all of the different companies & workers. The Home was delivered to us in a timely fashion, despite the current global situation. We were promised the "wow" factor and they delivered. He installed it and explained how to operate it. Awesome guy. He built me custom cabinets to flow with my new dishwasher because where I wanted it, my kitchen wouldn't allow for it. So he hooked me up n I can't be more excited about it. He didn't cut corners, he was honest n got it done right. A little pricey but I got what I paid for. Custom. I knew it was going to be pricey. Great service! I called on Weds to see about getting a quote for hanging a huge storage rack in…read morethe garage and fixing a dryer duct. Steve was able to send two people the next day. It turns out the dryer duct was fine so I gave them another small job to go with hanging the storage rack. Of course something always has to go wrong and in my case they hit metal when going into my garage ceiling. Being fearful of why there was metal at that specific spot in the ceiling, they proceeded very cautiously. I authorized them to cut an inspection hole in the ceiling to see what it was. Come to find out it was a steel beam! Well, now that they knew what it was, there was no issue completing the job and doing an excellent job patching the inspection hole as well. Well done! Perhaps not the cheapest guys in town but you get what you pay for and I will definitely use them again.

If something as simple as this cannot be a good experience to start off, then look at it as a red flag. Danny and I made contact via messenger. I asked him if he serviced the area as to where the job is located and he replied he was from there. He made an appt for the afternoon on a Tuesday. The day after, I messaged him and asked if he came by, since I did not receive an estimate via email. He eventually replied, no. He made another appt approx a couple of days for 9am. Again,a no show and no form of contact. I sent him a text and messaged him that I do not need his so called business. No reply of apology, nothing. Did not surprise me. Imagine, if this is how he conducts himself and represents his business, then it is a person and business I do not want any dealings with. Something so simple, contact! Imagine his work!?

Stateside completely scammed me. They re-sided my house and repaired my porch roof. The siding has…read moreblown off in the wind multiple times and the porch roof is not nailed into the porch joists. They came back multiple times to repair the problems but have never repaired them. They charged me for vapor wrap and insulation and when the siding blew off my house I realized they never put on any vapor wrap or insulation. I have sued them and won in small claims court and they are refusing to pay. Below is a photo of the damage to my home. The work was done less than 4 years ago and the siding has now completely come off of my house. Danny Martino, Tom Maloney, George Lang and Kendall are scammers and thieves.
