There was a great mix of magic, humor, and audience participation, and storytelling that kept the pacing fresh from beginning to end. I've seen several shows in Vegas over the years, and this one I'd happily see again because I'm convinced I'd have no idea how he does any of it.

The theater attendants were all friendly and they directed us to our seats. The show started a few minutes after 7pm and it was suspenseful and thrilling from the start. Mr Goldrake's charisma, stage presence, and illusions are something the entire world should witness. He should be considered an artist as well as a magnificent performer. His assistant Stacey was excellent as well. The producers are quite fortunate to have such a gem in their midst, and are lucky to have snagged such a class act. I just wandered in from the promenade and wish there had been more publicity surrounding his show. This is definitely a general audience show without it being too toned down that it turns into a strictly children's show. I will say that at it's current location at the Strat, I'd suggest buying seats that are further away from the stage if you don't want the tricks spoiled for you. My husband and I were seated next to the stage (stage left) and unfortunately could see how many of the tricks were done because of how close our seats were to the performance. (Ex: one of the fabric backdrops has a secret opening that up close, is visibly more dirty than the rest of the backdrop.) On the flip side, if you want to see how the tricks are done, get the VIP seats next to the stage. I won't spoil it by explaining which tricks get spoiled, but you'll see at least 4-5. My husband and I still had a good time but I think I'd enjoy it more if the tricks were still a mystery.

I still had a really fun time! I liked her show waaaaay better than... well, it's probably rude to name names, but I liked her show SO MUCH MORE than the other magicians I've seen here who are big name A-listers with decades-long residencies and millions of dollars. I actually didn't like those shows at all, but I really did like Jen Kramer's show! Even as someone who isn't the biggest fan of magic and illusions. She's got a great stage presence and I liked her aesthetics, color palette, styling and wardrobe as well. The illusions themselves were very cool. I liked that it was a mix of different types of tricks, and not just a bunch of the same kind. Like some card tricks, some prop-based tricks, some with a lot of participation from volunteers. The humor was light and fun without being obnoxious or cringe. I feel like this is a show you could take anybody to and enjoy it. The venue gets an 11/10 from me, A++. The seats are so comfy and it's definitely more of a cabaret setup than a cramped uncomfortable theater where you have to touch elbows with strangers. You get so much room. The bartenders, ushers, and cocktail servers are all extremely nice and professional and attentive. I can't say enough good things about the customer service here. It is way above and beyond what I have come to expect from other Vegas shows. They also do an Elvis show and a Mo-Town show at this same venue, which I have even and will probably also review soon. What makes Jen Kramer's show extra special at this venue is the color scheme of her whole show and wardrobe is totally coordinated with the color scheme of this venue! It's actually really pretty and very much elevated the aesthetics of the show for me. A++ for that. I would mention that some of the steps in the seating area were poorly lit on this visit and my friend actually tripped a little bit and spilled his drink. But you know what? The very next time I was here, less than two weeks later for a different show, I noticed they had already installed little lights on those steps! Wow! Problem solved! They also replaced my friend's drink and even comped him a second drink, so he wasn't upset.
