Went to THE MIND FREAKS SHOW " Welcome To My Nightmare " with Alice Cooper. No no Alice didn't watch the show with FRANK , Alice was the show I along with Chris. Alice Cooper and Criss Angel teamed up for series of special shows called "Welcome to Our Nightmare" a limited-engagement of "shock rock & magic". Now I've never been to the Mind Freaks show before but being a huge Alice Cooper fan I knew it would be special. Man I was 1000% correct. This was a spectacular and quite the visual for Alice Cooper fans. What Chris Angel added to Alice's show was breathtaking and hadn't really been scene since the 70's in my opinion. So you take the Alice Cooper traditional show and add almost all of THE MIND FREAKS show plus come up with new stuff and it's the ultimate rock n roll theatrics you'll ever experience. I'm blown away and I only got to experience 2 shows and would hope they continue this partnership in the future... Mr Angel you are truly a MIND FREAK and your show is inspiring and wonderful. I'll be coming for a regular show next time in Vegas. But this partnership with Alice will Be hard to be topped.. read more

My husband was wearing prescription eyeglasses that have a built-in camera. He was instructed to go to the bell desk for check-in. However, without his glasses, he could not see the stage properly. In addition, he has mobility disabilities that make walking difficult, so going all the way to the bell desk was not easy for him. The venue should consider having dedicated check-in counters for situations like this, so guests with disabilities do not have to travel such a long distance. Another possible solution would be to provide camera lens covers that can be securely placed over the camera lens during the show and cannot be removed until the event is over. The show itself was very good, but I was disappointed with the way my husband was treated and with the lack of accommodation for his needs. read more

My first Criss Angel show and it was...meh.... There are a lot of videos of what he's done in the past between his tricks. I was not expecting that. It seemed more of a "look at what I did in the past" instead of the current show and tricks. The tricks that were done were pretty cool. I was not a fan of the flying trash everywhere when he was getting out of the straight jacket. I get it's a distraction, but really?! Blowing trash in people's faces?? Came in not knowing what to expect and I was amazed. First things first he talks entirely too much. While I appreciated the back story he spent a great deal of time casually talking about background and giving stories and not doing the actual magic. The magic that was shown was spectacular. First time seeing Criss Angel live. His named theater is located on the 2nd floor of the Planet Hollywood Casino in Las Vegas, and we used the parking across the street at the Cosmopolitan to attend the 90 minute show. My wife and I had a really good time. Getting to the show didn't take as long as anticipated, so we wasted a little time walking the Miracle Miles Shops. We did get back about 30 minutes before the show started, and found our seats (after buying a pack of Criss Angel playing cards at the gift show). Before the show gets fully underway,, the audience was invited to take a picture with the straitjacket that would be used for a trick later. There was a professional photographer taking pictures, but we were allowed to take our own pictures as well, as long as we were standing out of the way. Besides that, the use of cell phones was strictly prohibited during the show. His show on 8/8/2025 was his 1001st show at Planet Hollywood, and he is still going strong. Before he entered the stage, a quick montage of TV clips really shows how much his aura and name are known, with various prime time shows making multiple references to him and his show Mindfreak. Like other Las Vegas anchors, the theater was created just for him. His show involves some personal anecdotes about his life, and had his young son help him on stage for some of the audience interaction. He does a lot of various illusions, but are primarily known for two things: defying the pull of mother earth by doing things right in front of you that gravity should not allow AND disappearing right in front of your eyes. If you try to think about how it is possible, you get a brain cramp even deciding where to start. read more

Criss was amazing though lots of "technical" difficulties with new stage audio/lights/screens and props and show started really late. When he did do his magic it was mesmerizing but lots of downtime in between that was disjointed. Way too much talking with no flow in between tricks. Gave folks in front a shot of tequila, told them not to drink yet while he dealt specifically with 1 patron and never said go ahead and drink it to rest of people holding one. Staff working show very good, professional and friendly. Mostly naked girls on stage must be just for his amusement as he's famous and good enough he doesn't need to sell naked chicks on stage to pull patrons in. I will say I loved his faith comments. We need more famous folks speaking out in this way instead of politcally. Good for you, Criss! read more

Criss Angel MINDFREAK was an absolute blast--definitely a show I'd recommend if you're into over-the-top illusions and high-energy performances. You can tell Criss is still giving it everything he's got (even at his current age), which made the whole thing even more fun to watch. He did spend a bit of time promoting a non-profit, which felt a little heavy-handed in the middle of the show, but honestly, it didn't take away from how epic the performance was. The illusions were wild and lived up to the "mind freak" name. Bonus points for being inside Planet Hollywood. The vibe of the whole place adds to the experience before you even walk into the theater. read more

Criss Angel Mindfreak was great! The kids absolutely enjoyed every minute of it. We had really good seats (second section) and honestly the view of the stage was perfect. I'm extra happy we didn't end up in those front middle seats because those poor people got blasted with giant fans blowing confetti, streamers, balloons... just tons of stuff flying straight at them. It looked fun but also like a whole experience I did not want on my clothes The illusions were wild, from Criss being on stage one second to vanishing and suddenly being in the crowd the next. The levitation was super cool, too. I did notice he levitates in the exact same spot every single time, so there's definitely something in that part of the stage connecting him to the ladder. Still impressive to watch. The venue itself was great: clean, organized, easy to find your seats, and the staff kept things moving. Sound and lighting were on point, and the whole show flowed smoothly without long breaks or awkward transitions. Overall, it was a fun, high-energy experience for both adults and kids. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for a Vegas show that mixes magic, stunts, and a little bit of chaos in the best way. read more

This is tough. Largely my doing. IMO opinion, 10 is too young. Unless you select a seat mid-auditorium. We sat front row. There spook actors walking around. They also assist with the show, and although they don't touch you, it can be overwhelming for someone in the younger age group. We left early. As a whole - lots of props, lights, smoke and opulence. This was a great show. I knew that it would be entertaining and I would be left wondering how some of the things were done! It was a good mix of things. The theater is a decent size and we were seated more in the upper section. They do check bags upon arrival and they tell everyone that there is absolutely no phones out during the show or they will ask you to leave. read more

Magic shows are literally to give you brain confusion where when the show is over you are baffled and still trying to explain what you just witnessed. Criss doe not disappoint. I've seen the show twice now and both sections I've sat at still does not disappoint. His show is compiled nicely with trademarked tricks that are his most important and best to his name. I enjoy the music that goes along with his show. I'm a sucker for good music. Show lasts about 90 minutes. I would recommend watching if you are a person that enjoys entertainment like illusions. read more

Entertaining show! However yes, there is alot of intermissions and talking as many of the reviews have stated. Criss uses his platform to promote children cancer awareness. It does break up the show a bit, but I don't think it was that annoying. We saw his show 10 years ago and this was way better. We enjoyed his illusions along with the amazing sound system inside the theater. There is also a ton of stage visuals & lighting that weren't part of his show way back, so this was much entertaining. Be sure not to bust out your phones during the performance as they repeatedly remind you. It does get chilly inside, so bring a sweater. Overall, great show & performance. read more

You get both in this show! He's worried about people recording his shows, I'd be to, if I were him. Someone's gonna let out his secret about how shitty his shows are and the only thing he does is leave you confused and broke. Oh, and if making your money disappear wasn't bad enough in tickets, he tries to get the crowd to feel bad about sick dying cancer kids. Like, WHAT?! We came for a show! Excitement! Thrills! Not a goddamn live Sarah McLachlan situation. You go from being angry the show sucks, to feeling bad about sick kids dying and start Crying, to ruining your buzz and the show ending. I felt so confused and baffled by what just happened within the last 90 mins. Criss angel treats you like a mushroom, feeds you crap and keeps you in the dark so you never know how terrible his shows are. What you've seen on tv is what you think you're gonna see in the live shows. They are 2 completely different shows. The free ones on tv are 1000% than the paid live shows. At least at planet Hollywood anyway. There's 500 shows in Vegas. That means you have 499 other shows to pick from. Do yourself a favor and go to one of those other shows. It's also not kid friendly. Super scary for little ones. My grown adult bestfriend was super excited to see this and ended up walking out for the first half cuz she doesn't do horror. I felt like we were living in a real life horror film. It's got a bunch of half naked dancers doing some weird movements while he talks about himself and prepares for the least thrilling magic. I saw card table magic at the Magic Castle in Hollywood California. I was expecting a lot more than card table magic. Super disappointing. If you can get the front center rows, it might be the only spot worth it. He at least interacts with them. read more

My husband and I went to the Alice Cooper/Chriss Angel show Friday night at Planet Hollywood. They make you put your phones and smart watches in a pouch which they lock during the show. You keep the pouch with you, and after the show they unlock them, so you can get your belongings out, and toss the pouch in bins. About 20 minutes after the show, I noticed I neglected to get my apple watch out of the pouch. My fault obviously. I went back upstairs and told a security guard. He said they were in the back counting them, and he'd go get someone. A woman came out and I explained the situation. She asked for a description. I told her, and she said they only found one watch, a black one with a colorful band which did not match my description. But they were still counting them and suggested I call the next day. I did, and the security guard at lost and found put me on hold while she looked for it. Came back a few minutes later and said that no watches were turned in from the show. I asked: No watches? Well the woman said they found a black one with a colorful band, that one didn't get turned in either? She said: no watches at all. I said: so let me get this straight, the woman said they found a black one with a colorful band, and I know for a fact I didn't pull my watch out, (again, my own fault) yet, no watches have been turned in from the show? You get what I'm saying here right? After a short pause, she said yes, I do understand what you're saying. I said, well that is unfortunate news. I think your guests need to know what kind of establishment this is. I thanked her for her help and hung up. Lesson: Please be sure you get all of your belongings out of the pouches before you put them in the bin. If you happen to leave anything in them, they will disappear. I think this show was exactly what it was supposed to be. Smaller theatre, Criss Angel did all of his greatest hits magic that you want to see. I loved how personable he was during the show and it seemed like he was having fun up there. I imagine doing shows over and over again can get old, but he kept his energy up throughout the whole performance. With his age getting up there it was a tad silly to see all the young sexy young female assistants playing off of him, but there was a kind of campiness to it that made you chuckle. Show Started a little late, drink prices were high (we got grey goose and Red Bulls, pack of M&Ms and two popcorns came out to $97 including a 20% tip) expensive, but nothing surprising being on the strip. The combination of magic, illusions, levitation, music, lights, visuals, special effects, and stage performers makes this show one of a kind, energetic, and spectacular (a total mindfreak). Criss Angel has changed up the show a little with new acts since we last saw it, so if you haven't seen it in a while, go check it out again. If you haven't seen it, you have to put it on your Vegas to do list since we think he has one of the best illusion shows in town. It was a very good show and it was priced very fairly since they had special tickets available on a first come first serve basis. We sat in the back area of the auditorium so we were able to see the tricks being performed without the actual apparatus necessary to perform them. A special place in our hearts, went out to the children that he has a foundation for. read more

This show is so much fun and perfect for Vegas. The gift shop staff is so lovely but the front of house are not. They rush you out at the end of the show. Can't stop to take pics or they scold you (you're allowed to take pics outside of the show). The security staff were closing up the gift shop while there were tons of people inside. It's just not right. I've worked shows before so I understand how you want everyone to leave but this isn't some cheap show. Everyone here paid good money to see Criss Angel. He deserves friendlier front of house staff. (But again, the gift shop cashiers were so so nice and helpful!) I'm giving the SHOW 5 stars but the front of house staff 0. read more

His illusions are well timed and the theatre it is in is probably one of the best I have seen in Las Vegas. The only complaint I have is that it is loud. I LOVED Chris angels show back when it was on TV so I knew when I went to Vegas recently that one of the things I wanted to do was going to his show. My bf and I got great seats (3rd row) and they weren't too expensive. Chris was great and had tons of energy. He actually did a trick one time in the crowd and the table he did the trick on was right next to us so it was really cool to watch him do the magic up close. Criss is a great performer and very personable. Loved his engagement and enthusiasm with the audience this was a spectacular mind boggling experience. My wife and I still chat about the amazing feats. If your are seated in the middle expect total immersion and up close experiences. Cross even showed up in one of the rows. Not sure I would say this is suitable for kids under 12 but not sure there is anything outside of attire and suggestive behavior. We loved the show and we we closer in the rows and thought the entertainment was worth it. Besides, how often do you see an entertainer like this up close. read more

OMG I can't believe all the bad reviews in here for this show. It actually had me not wanting to go one night by myself when I had the chance. I had always said I would never go see Criss Angle unless I got free tickets. Well I was able to get 4 free tickets thru 1st Tix & Ceasars (thank you!) I took 3 of my friends with me & even ran into two of my friends before the show. Small world! lol None of us had seen this show before. Of course we had to grab a drink before going in. Lines were a little bit long but moved quickly. Prices are what you should expect while in Vegas. Some ushers were nice but there was one annoying lady who after she sat us in our correct seats had the nerve to come & ask me what my seat numbers were & I told her 9-12 & then she was like "no, what row?" Um "203 G!" She needs to get it together. Oh & the seats are WICKED SMALL & TIGHT. Talk about no breathing room. This was horrible & I had to sit with my arms on my chest which was hard to do while holding my drink cause I was afraid if I put it in the cup holder either myself or my friend would accidentally knock it out. There were some open seats sets around us & I was actually surprised that the usher didn't move us to seats at the aisle that weren't bought due to my temporary disability. I'm in a walking boot & knee scooter due to a broken foot. I had to leave my scooter off to the side in a room but it was a pain to make the people on the end get up to let me wobble in with my friends. I had to go to the bathroom towards the last 1/2 hr of the show but it was too much work to get up & come back so I held it but then I got had to wait to get out of the theater for me to be able to get my scooter & wait for the crowd to leave. I did get to take the elevator down vs the stairs. So I wouldn't say this is the best theater for people in wheelchairs, scooters, walkers or using a cane. Criss Angle was amazing & so was his show! He did some pretty amazing magic tricks. I don't even know how he did it. Him & his cast members energy was amazing! I don't think it's kid appropriate but thought it was sweet of him when he gave a couple of the kids in the audience free magic kits. How sweet! He even brought his son out toward the end of the show. The one who is a cancer survivor. I didn't feel that he spent a lot of time talking nor did I feel that he was begging the audience to donate to his cancer charity. It's HIS show & he can do what HE WANTS. Him picking out 4 females to bring on stage was fun! He did make the joke with 2 African American women & him about being an "Oreo cookie" but I didn't find it racists in the manor on how he did it. His blonde assistant kept making me think she was PINK with her blonde hair & body physic. She had a nice ripped 6 pack...but it wasn't PINK...lol I highly recommend this show & I would pay to go see him and definitely would LOVE to go see him again. Great job guys!!! I enjoyed seeing Mindfreak! I loved the theatrics of the show and how edgy it was. Criss has a great stage presence. Seeing him escape the stray jacket in the air with "trash" flying around him will forever stay in my memory. There were a few tricks that were just too obvious. I could visibly see what was happening, so that took a little of the magic away. Other tricks, like Criss "levitating" left me in awe, and wondering how they're done (even several days post-show!) I appreciate that Criss has incorporated childhood cancer research fundraising into his show and venue. Overall, I'd recommend this show! read more

Great show! We knew we would be entertained but we had no idea how wonderful our experience was going to be! Criss Angel's incredible talent speaks for itself and will truly amaze you...but his personal connection with his audience was so touching and heartfelt...we were really impressed overall! We were in section 102 right in front of the stage and he interacted with us quite a bit. We're pretty sure he was the man with the cloak and lantern interacting with the audience before the show and if so he rubbed my husband's bald head lol. He was funny, charming and so talented. We could have done without the half naked women throughout the show but that comes with the Vegas territory. LOVED his glorifying of God as that was a nice and unexpected surprise. The Snacks and drinks were pricey and limited and it was a tad cold in there but otherwise an exceptional experience and highly recommended! read more

Ive been a fan of Criss Angel for over 20 years and I finally got to see the show this week. We flew in for my daughters bday and I told her that it was my dream to see the show and even more amazing to see it with my kids. We set in the front row and even though the tickets were expensive, it was worth every penny. Criss is very personal and humble human being this is why he's the only celebrity I follow and willing to spend money on, because he stays the same. He worked hard to get where he is and made it on his own. He had a small but humble following 20 years ago with a fan club which I was a part of, seeing him in Vegas with a residency makes me believe hard work does pay off. Yes he shares a very painful and personal experience of his son being diagnosed with cancer and if you follow his and his wife's social media its so brave of them to share their struggle with us, even though its a personal matter and they don't have to do it. He's making a difference in people lives and I'm glad to be a part of it. He dedicates a small fraction of his show to make a difference, I can't believe people are so selfish to even write a complaint about it. The tricks were amazing and decent and highlights his best talent. He is a magician so yes if you see a wire don't be surprised. It is a show and he's the best at what he does. At the end of the show he inspires and encourages everyone to keep working on their dreams and do not give us. He also emphasizes how grateful he is that we chose to see him and spent time with our friends and family. Time is precious and I believe time was well spent those 90 minutes.
