Saw the show last night and it was ok. First off they have an announcement that clearly says no audio or video recording, it does not say anything about no picture taking so I got scolded by the staff. Before the show someone from the back comes out and picks certain people who will be called on during the show. For Stuart McLeod, a very funny guy but a definitely scripted performance with the audience members he picks on. A staff member came out and talked to two people sitting behind us and we listened very closely as they were told that they would be chosen, the question they are going to be asked and what their response should be. Stuart throws two frisbees out to the audience and it's supposed to be random however, two kids were picked. One boy caught the frisbee and Stuart asked him to give it to the girl behind him which he did. Then Stuart asked her to pick a number between 25 and 100 and told her NOT to pick 67 but of course she did which went along with the number writing skit he did. Obviously it was not random but staged for the trick to work. Shin Lim, WOW!!! He had practiced long and hard to perfect his craft and he is amazing. Many tricks are easy to figure out as you can see how it comes to fruition. Tables are used through his act and most have a hidden area for him to grab things from underneath. Even though you can see his sleight of hand preparing to make the illusion happen, he is an amazing magician. Some tricks will leave you stunned and the audience members he picks I did not see them being prepped before the show so I believe they were unknown and saw the magic close up. Shin Lim is an amazing magician as I said and it's no wonder why he won AGT twice, FISM and is now in Vegas. He is a Vegas show worth going to and more than once, just a very cool experience. His wife is a part of the show, she does magic tricks as well which shows how talented she is as well as a trapeze ring act. She was really good and I only wish she would have been performed a little longer. Shin Lim had Mackenzie Sol who was in the top 24 of American Idol come out and sign some during his magic acts, Magic to Music. Mackenzie is a very good singer and it gelled well with the show. I would go see the show again as it was very entertaining. It started on time unlike most other Vegas shows and was an amazing 90 minute show worth seeing. I highly recommend this show. Yes you can figure out some of the magic being done if you watch closely, but the amount of prep and practice that Shin Lim has had to endure to perfect his craft, he is worth supporting. We saw Shin Lim's Limitless at The Venetian after being blown away by him on AGT / Champions. In person, he's just as cool with his signature bed-hair and and sly grin, and the magic is still pretty smooth. That said, I thought the production value feels a little low-key by Vegas standards. Most of the magic revolves around cards, so you'll spend much of the show watching the screens around the room to catch the close-up details. There's a cool audience participation part by Shin, and engaging acts from the other magician, Colin. One thing that I thought was odd was an aerial rope act that felt disconnected from the rest of the show, and somewhat clumsy. I sat there blinking like a confused owl for a good few minutes wondering how it fit into the show, which btw, runs for about 90 minutes. I am a big fan of entertainment by magic and an even bigger fan of sleight of hand. Limitless delivers from the first trick via the narrating magician to the last trick with the switcharoo. There was a ton of audience participation. One of my favorites was with the cards at our seats. I'm fairly certain I did everything of my own volition in my seat all the way back towards the exit so I was as shocked as everybody around me when the trick worked. I wasn't sure what to make of Shin Lim's way of speaking but his delivery was perfect for his sense of humor. Shin navigates each situation with self-deprecating and effortless retorts without sounding rehearsed. One of my favorite comments was a quiet "that's why we're here" when a participant back turned to the audience after asking if what she was doing was for the trick. The show is located in Palazzo, a short walk if one accidentally shuttles to the Venetian, but it would be better if you just go straight to the Palazzo. For this show, I recommend to park at Palazzo Parking Garage, quick access to get to the show. It there's an event occurring you have to pay for event parking regardless which is $30 even if you're a local and even if your purchased $200+ tickets for each person. Our seats got moved up by one of the hosts, which was nice, they offered us if we wanted to get closer. He's a good magician and there was a mentalist who was good too. But not so immersive with audience members like other shows. They only take people from the front row. And it seems like they chose these people way before the show started. I think it should be more immersive to where they choose someone from all different sections even middle and back not just a front stage row.. the lighting had technical difficulties for a while too. Props to Shin Lim! What a great show! I was totally mind-blown the entire time and very entertained. Shin's show is located in the Palazzo Theatre. The theatre itself is located between the Grand Lux Cafe and the Starbucks. Check in was very easy. It was minimal walking and required a flight of stairs to get to your seats. Elevators were also available I believe. The theatre was at capacity for the 7:30pm show on a Sunday Night. It's a very nice stage set up and seats were comfortable for a 90 minute show. We sat near the back of the theatre. Our ticket pricing was $60-70 per ticket. As for the show itself, we had not seen any performances prior of Shin's, but friends and family who have watched the show said it was great. My expectations were exceeded after watching this entire performance. The storytelling of his journey to getting into Magic and achieving his goal of winning AGT twice was cool. The card tricks to start the show had me baffled and impressed. The visuals and performances were memorizing. The show is interactive and has audience participation. It's funny, it's mind boggling, it's entertaining and fun for all ages. I'm still questioning "how did he do that?" and it been days later. Can't say I am a big fan of card magic, but this show really surprised me! Our VIP section seats had amazing views. But the alcohol selections weren't as good though, they didn't serve Grey Goose. The show runs 90 minutes and no intermission. I have to say Shin Lim is a fantastic card magician. Some tricks were shockingly fun and mysterious! The interactions with audience were awesome. Not worthy for higher price tickets l, recommend to get a lowest priced ticket. The stage is great, the host of other magician is great. But the show seems to be the TV shows happening again. Worst thing is that, the tools seem to be really old, and you can see the hidden holes or folding lines, very disturbing to a magic show. I saw Shin Lim back on Thanksgiving week of 2025. Highly recommend checking him out if you ever come to Vegas. You can find him at the Venetian. His show runs for an hour and half. I got his tickets cheap from Klook. Surprisingly, we got a good view since it was more in the middle. I was more amazed at his tricks than at Penn & Teller. Both are great shows btw. There was another magician that performed when Shin Lim was off the stage and he was equally superb. I recommend either walking over if you're already staying on the Strip or taking a rideshare. Don't bother driving over here as that would take too much time. There isn't a bad view since there are jumbotrons, but if you want to participate then shoot for the rows closer to the stage. read more

Sat at VIP 1, 4th row, it was a cool experience! Kids loved the magic performed. A lot of the tricks are with a deck of cards. Vs other shows where u see different acts. But it was good and this type of magic show didn't give u like anxiety like other performers in the past, like cutting someone in half, or anything triggering. This show was good! Check in was fast Theater at the Palazzo was clean and decent. Shin also has other performers Johnson to help narrate, and perform. Probably a one time thing for this show hence 4/5 but it was cool! I've been to other shows like cirque du Soleil where I went back to see the same show. Those are more like 5/5 to me. This one didn't disappoint! Las Vegas has many different magic shows, and one of the popular ones is Shin Lim: Limitless, which is inside the Palazzo theater. I watched it over the weekend with a party of 9 and would say this was enjoyable for all different ages. From children to older adults, this was eye-catching, mind-blowing, and unique!! Watching Shin perform live is literally awe inspiring! I've followed him through AGT, Fool Us, and other television programming he's been on so on this trip back to Vegas, I knew it had to be him and not just another Cirque du Soleil show. Penn & Teller was our very first "magic show" in Vegas, and I was so impressed with their performance that when I found out Shin Lim fooled them THREE times, he is definitely "legit"! I've seen many of Shin Lim's performances/videos over the last decade and have always wanted to see him ever since I found out he has Vegas residency. I was super bummed that he did not have any performance scheduled when I was in Vegas for a work conference earlier this year. When we scheduled our Vegas trip this Thanksgiving, I was super excited that we finally would get a chance to see him live! Peter Antoniou did the opening act and helped narrate the show and did "filler" performances during scheduled gaps. There is A LOT of audience participation overall, and every seat has a pack of 4 cards that you will use when Shin Lim tells you to! The show is basically a retelling of his life story filled with various performances that got him to where he is now. Even though I've seen all the performances virtually in the past, it's a different experience seeing it live! SO glad we decided to make time for this show - our son is SUPER interested in learning magic now LOL! read more

What an amazing show! A great production describing Shin Lims journey through life in magic. Incredible close-up magic involving many members of the audience with an amazing outcome every time. These are a good showman and the addition of Peter and Andrea and his mind reading work while being the narrator, just made it even that much better. A great surprise to have his wife there as well performing on a ring and doing magic while suspended in the sky hanging from a silver ring. The American Idol contestant that sang a couple times in the show also was great and made it even better. A fantastic show would absolutely come again. read more

If you're interested in watching a magic show, been following Shin Lim for a while or just want to be entertained, this show is all of that. The show is a well balanced magical act where Shim Lim performs his well known magic tricks as well as incorporating other acts that help tie in the show together. Unless you have really good eye sight, there is no real reason for sitting close to the stage unless you want an opportunity of getting picked. If you do, then I'd say to aim in the first few rows in center and house left. Most of Shin Lim's performance is close up magic which will have a camera feed show on the LED screen behind him, so you won't miss the action. If you've seen Shin Lim's previous acts, then now you get to watch it live in front of an audience. For those who haven't, be ready to see the greatest card magician live and in person. If you're driving here, I suggest looking for directions or the Palazzo theatre which will lead out to park right off of Sands ave. Follow the directions and it'll lead you to the Casino. Very entertaining and funny! Special guest, Stuart Macleod, had an amazing voodoo act! His comedic timing was impeccable. Shin Lim's performance was magical but a portion of it was a close up live filming of him doing a card trick. This just doesn't translate well in a large theater. Overall, we enjoyed it but I couldn't help comparing it to the Paranormal show which was in a more intimate theater and had a palpable positive energy. read more

We didn't know what to expect but we were impressed and amazed at the overall show and the card tricks Shin Lim performed (especially the one where you have a set of cards to use at your seat). The show theater is beautiful with good sound and lights, comfortable seating, friendly staff, a great view from all seats, and just a facinating decor and atmosphere overall. We liked how random people were picked from the audience to participate in the tricks and show. Of course there is no videos of photos during the show which is understandable. I was invited as a VIP guest to see the "Shin Lim" show "Limitless" Vegas show tonite at Palazzo Theater. It's a large theater w/great neon lighting and comfortable seating. We had VIP seating so we had a little table to put our drinks on. The show had mostly slight of hand card tricks but also had Mackenzie Sol (American Idol vocalist finalist) & his wife as well did a few card tricks along w/a hula hoop act. His talent w/slight of hands and cards are unrivaled! I gave up even trying to comprehend how he did any of the magic tricks & just sat back and enjoyed the show. Saw this show tonight with the husband and it was amazing! We hardly give 5 stars but this one deserves it! Guest appearance by Stuart Macleod (mentalist) and he's hilarious. Really enjoyed how Shin appealed to the audience with this personal journey. The first trick in the night by Shin hooked in the audience. It's great how he does audience participation. Loved it. Good show problem is the Venetian parking. Real hard to get in - real hard and long time to get out of the parking structure. Plus they soak you $24 to Park. If you can handle parking stress, this is a good show, reasonable price. read more

He also intertwined his twin talents of music and magic throughout the show, as he once had aspirations to be a classical pianist. Kind of like how everyone else is saying, I first heard of Shin Lim through AGT, so it was super cool to be able to come see him perform live. He uses some audience members for certain tricks, but you have to be sitting in the first few rows to be chosen. But I really appreciate one of his first tricks which allows the whole crowd to participate, as we were sitting near the back. The card tricks are so amazing too! Even times when you could tell he was using sleight of hand, or like I could tell he did something different with a card, it would still surprise me what happened next. Or even if I knew how a certain trick was performed, it was amazing to see him actually execute it. And it's always fun to see a performer really play up the dramatics. He also features some other performers like the Clairvoyants, who really amazed me with their mind tricks. Really solid show! read more

This magic show is pretty amazing. Unfortunately you can take pictures or videos during the show. He has an opener that is a mentalist. I wish Shin Lim did more magic though. I don't know how much time he did magic but I felt like that the mentalist did as much as Shin Lim did. A nice touch was his wife being on the show. His wife is an aerial acrobat that did card magic. We didn't go to Las Vegas just to see Shin Lim....but kind of. Ever since we saw him on America's Got Talent, we have been enamored with his talent and tricks, so we finally made a trip to Vegas to see him live and in-person. Given that Shin Lim focuses on extreme close-up magic, we paid for the closest seats, on the floor and just a few rows from the stage. There are cameras to focus on his hands and the tricks he's doing, but I thought it was better to be up close. He did a great job with audience engagement with a cool card trick that the entire audience participated in. His friend Spidey opened for him and also does his act between Shin Lim's various segments. Spidey did a great job with his mentalist abilities which wowed the crowd. read more

I had been following Shin Lim on youtube since I saw him win both Penn and Teller and AGT. I have never been to a Vegas show of any kind and was going here for my weekend getaway and thought to myself, let's stay in The Palazzo and see Shin Lim at the Palazzo Theater. I booked our tickets at least a month in advance via Ticketmaster and picked VIP seatings. We were about 3 rows from the very front and price was $200/seat. The show was fantastic, fun, hilarious, and full of magic! I honestly was expecting just a pure magic show with Shin Lim the whole hour, but it was that plus much more. Our VIP seating location was perfect as I was initially worried we were too close, but we had a perfect, close up view of everything so those VIP seats were perfect. There appeared to be a few technical things that I saw, but who cares, the show was fantastic and no show is perfect every time. The downside of watching a magic show is when you see it once, it loses it's magic so enjoy it as much as you can. read more

Have always wanted to see one of his shows, and finally got around to it (2025). Colin was a great opener- very good and personable. Made us feel like part of the show from the moment he stepped on stage. Laughs and "magic" was 50/50 from Colin. Shin, what can I say. His "awkwardness " as he stated, made him more relatable. From his first card trick to his last was an awesome. His comedic side was unexpected since his show includes a lot of great music- so be aware! Really enjoyed the "lesson" that he shared. The "Slide of hand" is something else, but since I don't want to ruin it for those of you who haven't seen his show: Let's just say- dont blink! If there were any suggestions: please pick from the entire crowd, that would definitely make it more enjoyable. The show we saw: they only picked from the front 5 rows- made it seem like the rest of the audience didn't exist. Come out into the crowd, pick from each side, that would have made it more interesting. The guy they selected from the crowd (from like the 3rd row) only picked from his row - which didnt help since it didn't involve anyone else from the audience. Other than that- a definite must see! Usually I feel like magic shows are gimmicky or the sleight of hand is too obvious, but he is so extremely talented, as an audience member it truly feels paranormal. He's also a great showman and I love seeing an Asian American/Canadian have an almost permanent residency in Vegas! We paid $70 for our farther back row tickets. Honestly, even though it was a little cheesy, I loved hearing about Shin's journey with magic and the music parts he includes. Pros: - Overall, an amazing act. Without giving too much away, he starts off the show with an amazing trick that the audience gets to participate in (you rip up cards in a packet that is at your seat). I was truly blown away - We had very back row tickets at the Palazzo Theater originally, but when we got there, because it was a Tuesday night show not fully sold out, the very kind usher moved us to the comfy couches at row 5! I felt like we had a really good view of him even if we didn't look at the screen - He's funny too , him and Colin have good energy - A fun portion featuring his wife, who also does magic but while doing acrobatics! - The right amount of audience engagement, although I did like Shin's act more than Colin's - they do tag team very well. The last part of the act where they switch places is truly phenomenal and I still can't figure out how Shin did any of his tricks. - The venue makes a decent espresso flavored mocktail ! - Very comfy seating in Row 5 Cons: - the venue itself can be challenging to find inside the Venetian, especially if you're not staying at the hotel and not familiar with the area. My party of 2 and a lot of other guests all had difficulty finding it originally but we made it in time - There were some moments where I felt like Colin's mentalist act was a little cheesy, but they made me laugh To me, this is wayyy more worth your time than some of the Cirque shows that play on the strip! I think I got lucky having gotten moved up so much closer, but I feel like it was definitely worth $70 for the ticket, and I actually wouldn't mind seeing the whole thing again. If you're not a fan of magic and are someone who's just obsessed with figuring out how someone does something - this might not be the thing for you.
