The day I loved out I cleaned the apartment thoroughly bath tubd ,walls , and vacuumed carpet . I owed a balance and paid in full day of move out. I checked the portal within the next few says with a $0 balance . Them they come sending my final bill stating I owned over $2,000 . Charges were for breaking the lease , carpet repair 1,400, glazing if 2 tubs and $260 . Court fees ??? .... I called Jonathan to confirm our conversation and to ask him why would he advise the incorrect information . He has been advoiding me. I would NEVER recommend this place !!! Outdated baseboard heating and raggedy noisy wall air conditioning unit. Unsafe environment where management allows reckless drunk tenants to create havoc and damage property in early morning hours. Also, excessively loud disruptive tenants are allowed to stay and continue with these behaviors. Garage floods at least two times per year. No warning given last time it flooded to make sure vehicles were moved. Mildew smell present in building where office is located. And, hallway in that building is very dirty. Black mold in bathroom. Dumpsters are always over filled and garbage piled high. Garage is crumbling and leaking water onto vehicles. Door to garage is always left open allowing anyone to enter building making it unsafe.

It's very quiet, clean and welcoming. It's actually feels like a single-family one-story home. It's very spacious and the huge 2 car garage is a bonus! The appliances are much smaller than we'd like though. The main tub and master bedroom shower are ridiculously very small, however; we are learning to live with these downfalls. No community is 100% perfect of course, however; we are glad to call Redwood our home. We had an option to move elsewhere not too far from here, however, due to the open floor plan with cathedral ceilings we chose here and are glad we did. The monthly food trucks are very appreciated for those nights I don't cook dinner (which is very few). The office manager, "Lonnie" and his team are very professional, friendly and business oriented. I love the way this office is ran. I have been a customer service professional for over 30 years, so I, personally appreciate it when I see others providing the same level of good customer service to others, especially my husband and I. The maintenance guy is absolutely the best! He is friendly, prompt and attentive. The turnaround time is stellar (1 day or less)! This sets this community apart from others, the wait time for maintenance requests at our previous community was 3-4 days. Overall, we are super satisfied living here, and plan to call Redwood our home for a long time. It's a lot of things we will never compromise on when living somewhere, some being: comfort, convenience, and quietness, and this is exactly what we found at Redwood :).

Yes, nothing will ever be as you imagine and want, leave that for when you are a homeowner. I too complained in the beginning, but that's because I lived as a homeowner for a long time. I forgot that some people are not tidy, and some smoke weed, and argue and don't take care of their pets. Still, the worst I experienced was some weed smell, and shortly after complaining, the people I thought were doing it indoors were gone. Most smoke, whatever they smoke, on their balconies. I have never seen issues with pets, bags are provided by the complex and there is nothing on the grounds ever. Pets are registered and DNA tested and rules are in place. People follow the rules from what I see. I rather enjoyed all the pets here and watching people connect through their pets. Kids play outside in playgrounds and it is great to see that. I can tell you that a lot has changed, most of the staff and management are new and have been more than nice to me, especially Megan the manager. I see a lot of updates being done, both cosmetic and major ones; like updated kitchens and laminate flooring being installed. I rented my apartment prior to updates, still it was very nice, everything in working order. I took a lot of pictures and videos so I am not worried about having issues moving out. I lived here for a year and never once called maintenance. Not even a lightbulb changed. It is a great location and grounds are maintained well. It feels very safe here, I have not seen or heard of any issues. It is still very quiet and worry free living here. Until you buy a house, renter's life will be rather similar everywhere so be cautious of negative reviews and just visit, take a look and get a feel of the community. Great location, nice apartments inside and out, and price is reasonable for the area.

Sounds like they are unwilling to work with people who can prove they make enough simply because of their banks / how they get paid. She did also send in her IRS tax form which they claimed did not work. Sounds like 10-99 discrimination to me! ***They also would not refund her app fee even though the problem was not on her end.
