I have been here 3 yrs. I love here. Quiet, capable/professional maintenance staff; leasing staff are personable and helpful. The grounds and area creek & ponds are pristine. Most residents are working families, disabled, and elderly individuals. The children here WELL BEHAVE so far My apartment have a loft window, natural light in the morning by the pond. I am absolutely outraged by the handling of my apartment access on October 22 and the days that followed. Maintenance entered my apartment without my presence or consent, despite me explicitly stating this was not allowed. I allowed it once because I was told scheduling a specific time was not possible--but this will never happen again. During this entry, a maintenance employee used a code that was not mine to access my apartment. When I returned, my personal code no longer worked. After multiple calls to the leasing office, a maintenance guy arrived (very nice I didnt get his name) and said the new code would work temporarily--but when I returned later, it still didn't work. I attempted to use the SmartRent app to avoid emergency calls, only to find I did not even have access, something the leasing office should have granted me. I was locked out until 7:44 PM, repeatedly calling maintenance with no response. The on-call staff, Keith (or Key), was shockingly unprofessional, dismissively saying "GEEZ" before hanging up. I had to leave my door unlocked overnight, creating a serious safety risk. The next day, I tried repeatedly during office hours to resolve the issue, again receiving no response. I called emergency maintenance 14 times, only to learn staff were at a trunk or treat event. I had to track someone down in person. Darrell eventually helped (Thank you Darrell) and confirmed this entire fiasco was caused by the leasing office never granting proper access to the SmartRent app. This level of mismanagement caused extreme inconvenience, stress, and serious safety risks. I have been locked out of my apartment three times, which is completely unacceptable for someone paying rent. I cannot recommend this property due to the unprofessionalism, lack of communication, and unsafe handling of resident access. The 2.2 star rating speaks for itself. update- Despite explicitly requesting that all communication be via email, I received an inappropriate phone call from Tina, the property manager for maintenance. During the call, she blamed me for not setting up my SmartRent password, even though the issue stems entirely from the leasing office failing to grant me access. Tina also claimed that Kyle came to my apartment at 4:00 PM to assist me, which is completely false, as I was not home at that time. Throughout the call, her tone and stateme nts were unprofessional, and I repeatedly expressed my dissatisfaction. I am also confused as to why bianca the property manager who I emailed --forwarded my email to Tina instead of adressing the issue, creating even more frustration. This mishandling has caused significant stress and inconvenience, and the lack of accountability and communication from management is unacceptable. read more

Can't wait to move. Moved in July 2025, from the start the air did not work. The temperature outside was over 90 degrees, over 80 in my third-floor apartment. They did not consider this to be an emergency. I placed over 5 work orders and tried to contact corporate. After several phone calls and complaints and turning down $50, I was given a $300 credit, even though I wasn't able to move in until 2 weeks after signing due to the air issue. The window in my bedroom is extremely drafty, and at first was sealed shut and would not open. It gets extremely cold in my room. The walls are thin, I can hear the people below me every time they have an audiobook playing. The grounds are horrible if you have a pet. Poop everywhere, most owners don't clean up after their pet and there is no maintenance that cleans it either. Winter is horrible as they barely keep sidewalks and parking lot shoveled, and there is no place cleaned for dogs to use the bathroom. Parking is horrendous and of course they charge 30 a month for a carport, which is only available when it's your turn on the waitlist. It was 20 and when my turn came and I asked she said, "oh the price went up". Everything in the apartment is cheaply done, my bathroom was painted without being cleaned before move in. There is dust and hair that was painted over on the walls and floorboards. The walls scuff at the slightest bump and previous damages are just painted over with minimal repair. The closet doors are the cheapest I've seen, they fall off the track just from opening the door. Not to mention the infestation of silverfish bugs all over. Storage is horrible, as there is no place to put things. No storage for bikes and can't put them in your carport. Oh, but use your balcony as storage because it's so easy to carry a bike up to the third floor through your living room to place outside. When touring of course they show you the most updated model unit, but that is not what you'll be getting. Also, there is a string of car break ins on grounds. I have been woken up on several occasions from car alarms being activated at 3am from someone trying to get in them. Can not wait for my lease to be up! read more

No Star for the Harbors! Poor management and unfair move-out fees. Dishonest billing practices. I left my unit professionally cleaned, yet was still charged $300 for minor wear and tear and an undisclosed day of rent because they were closed for a long weekend followed Thanksgiving. Long story short - I rarely experienced any issues at The Harbours until it was time to move. I had to hire an attorney during my move out; to have The Harbours staff make the appropriate corrections to their accusations and drop their elaborate excuses. They wouldn't stop trying to harass me out of money. I had the pleasure of residing at The Harbours for several years, and I must admit that the experience had taken a MAJORLY disappointing turn in recent years. Initially, this complex was exceptional, offering a safe and secure environment for its residents and promptly handling major maintenance concerns. Unfortunately, 2021, my car was broken into. Nothing could be done. Not allowed to have cameras. 2022, a neighbor was stalking me and finally one day he popped up behind my back when I was putting my daughter in her car seat. Nothing could be done. We're still not allowed to have cameras. 2023, The Harbours began to show how disgustingly desperate they were for money. Adding charges, trying to keep security deposit, correcting the "accidental added charges" which triggered a spontaneous late fee, being told to pay that late fee even though the original agreed amount was paid on the due date, and a ton of other headaches. They no longer care about their residents. I had to tell a few potentially new residents to avoid this place at all costs. Be ready to get an attorney when you're ready to leave. read more

I have lived at The Harbours for almost 22 years. I have seen the best living and "the not so good" while living here. The past couple of years have been the worst. Many crimes (shootings, car thefts, vandalism of cars, stalkings) are being committed and little is being done to change that. While the staff informs the residents that things are being done about it, the crime keeps happening almost daily. Prior to 2021, I felt safe living here. Not so much now. The apartments are very outdated, many going back to 1988 and not much (if any) updates are being made inside the apt units. The amount of rent for moving in, now, is well over $1400 (2 bed, 1 bath in oldest units - much higher if you want their newest) with high security deposits, which people will never see again when they leave. Leave early from a lease and it will cost you over $3000. The 15-month leases are in effect, now. Mandatory Renter's Insurance. While it a good idea to have insurance, it is now forced. Also, it can be tricky to have your own outside renter's insurance. It can lead to being double charged for their insurance and yours. Consider carefully if you plan on moving here. As I stated earlier, I have lived here a long time. There are good reasons for the lengthy stay. Main reason is heat (gas)/water/trash, access to pools and gym are included with rent. They have resort like pools. Lighted carports, available. Pets allowed, but that can be good or bad. Landscaped outside areas are well cared for. Wildlife is abundant, however, the nuisance geese are pretty bad when their numbers are near 100 in one pond/lake. Maintenance was very, very good except for the past 2 years. Much longer wait time... up to 10 days most times. Decent snow removal both street and sidewalks. You can pay your rent online and/or autopay each month. Office staff, including management have been pretty nice, but lately they are unable to help with maintenance or the crime issues. The Harbours DO allow security cameras, but there are a few restrictions. No cameras in carports. You can have doorbell cameras on the older apartments, but they're not allowed on most apartments because of privacy concerns. Also, they can't be on the building walls or secured to the door with screws. While living here (in this day and age) does have many drawbacks, overall, I still think it is okay. However, if the crime continues like it has been, then I too, will be moving out, asap. When at home, you should feel safe knowing you, your family and your auto are secure. Lately, that isn't happening here at The Harbours. If they fix that and some other issues listed above, then this place will be a decent place to live once again. read more

Very pleasant, a very up beat personality, so helpful and a 5 star employee!!! Took his time - very considerate and does well at his job. I am so thankful for his help and couldn't get over his bright, sunny and very warm attitude. We need more Victors in this world with his happy personality. my mom lives at this complex and there was a shooting in the complex just a couple days ago. Just thought I'd let you know in the reviews. Pretty upsetting not to mention I just moved here from Arizona and had to keep my dog at my mom's apartment. They decided to charge her about $800 for the one night my dog had to stay there because I was at a hotel. That's also really unfortunate. Don't know if they expected me to throw my dog away or keep him in Arizona by himself. Literally they made her pay pet deposit, and first months rent for the pup. i found out and took him immediately but just sharing so you know the reviews aren't lying about taking your money. which is so weird considering the apartments at this complex are extremely ancient looking you'd at least figure they would do some renovating after stealing everyone's money read more

I currently reside in The Harbours. I've been here less than a year and I haven't had a good experience since the day I moved in. I wish I read the reviews before moving here. The worst issue now is the noise complaint. I understand living in an apartment there's going to be some noise and it's not my first time living in one but this is the worst experience I have ever dealt with. I have the neighbors from hell above me. He has severe anger issues and is very violent at times. Him and his family have been stomping, screaming, doing adult activities very loudly on purpose, TV all the way up, music blasting all hours since I've lived here. This is an everyday thing and goes all throughout the night. They do it maliciously and intentionally. They know their loud and don't care because they have gotten away with it for so long. The noise was happening during the day too, but now they wait until the office closes to get loud and the weekends are worse. They do have kids but the parents are so immature that they're the ones who start it and retaliate when you try to get them to quiet down. They allow the kids to participate in they're antics. He screams, yells and cusses out his kids as well. When their kids are screaming, running up and down the apartment they do nothing about it. A month ago, I had to call the police because they threatened me over a Facebook comment I made about their noise on a post in our resident's Facebook group as everyone else was joining in. It didn't list their name, apartment number or anything that identified them. The next day, as soon as they heard my door close they all started screaming through the vents, calling me names, stomping, coming down to my apartment screaming and threatening me trying to get in my door. I have been making noise complaints since last year but no one has done anything. The only thing that was done were stupid notes on the doors. This year I started back calling especially after the incident. I've had my noise complaints verified 6 times in 2 weeks. Still nothing has been done. The office just brushes it off and they're getting sick of me calling and I'm getting sick of calling them but until you do something about I'm going to continue. The same way they're annoying me, the same way I'm going annoy the office. It should not have to get this far or take this long for someone to do something. They have been talked to multiple times and it still continues. Talking to them isn't doing anything because they haven't stopped. The only option they told me was to transfer to another apartment. Like seriously? Why not get rid of the problem or transfer them to a first floor apartment because if I move the same problem is going to continue with the next tenant. Then you'll hear from them and wish you did something sooner. Same thing happened with the previous tenant who lived in my apartment. She told me he's an alcoholic whose always screaming and yelling. She had to confront him many times because they woke up her baby. If it happened to her, now me, what makes you think it won't continue with the next tenant? Why are we allowing them to get away with this? Just because they have kids. That's no excuse especially with that kind of toxic behavior should be enough to end it. Transfer them to another unit preferably on the first floor. Not to mention this man gets violent at random and they don't care having someone like that living here. He's been violent in the past not just to me but other residents and his own kids. The fact that he threatened me over a Facebook comment that didn't identify them in any way should tell you what type of person he is. We pay way too much to have to deal with this. I'm not the only neighbor who has called on them and some are afraid because of is violent tendencies. I'm the only neighbor whose been continuing to resolve this problem so it doesn't happen to anyone else. Noise complaints are a huge issue here because people can get away with alot even when it's excessive. If you're thinking about moving here, you can find something way better, quieter, at a better price, worth your money and that actually care about their tenants wellbeing instead of just the money. There so much crime happening in this complex alone they just look the other way. If they let a violent maniac live here, that tells you they allow anyone and any crime. Would you want to live in a complex that accepts violence? You can't even be safe where you live. Remember that when you're thinking of applying to live here. DO NOT LIVE HERE. Living at the Harbours has been one of the worst experiences of my life, and I've been homeless before. Complaints are not taken seriously, and you will only receive a response if you write a negative review (and even then, they will respond to one email and then you won't hear from them again). Maintenance has entered my apartment multiple times while I was not home despite me clearly posting that they do NOT have permission to enter except for emergency maintenance. There are tons of spiders in the spring, summer, and fall and they will not spray to remove them. They charge so much for outdated apartments and events that only a few people can attend, and you are clearly not paying for good customer service, as staff are nothing but rude on the phone. I highly recommend finding a different apartment complex - living at the Harbours is not worth it. read more

Far too pricey. I'd rather have no events or food trucks and just have the rent reduced. People get apartments to have a place to live; not activities. Rent everywhere is becoming far less affordable and management here keeps wringing out every last cent they can. There have been several times where my maintenance request were marked as completed without me being contacted at all. Even now, my hot water only works some of the time. 2/13/22 Our bathroom window is not sealed properly. Constantly has water and ice in. We asked if they could fix this. They shoved toilet paper into the track and put packing tape over it. 2/16 Update: We mentioned the the toilet paper is soaked and more water is pooling up. We were told to leave it. 2/15/22 We asked if they could do something about the fact that the master bedroom is up to 10° colder than the rest of the place. Maintenance just told us to keep the door open (we do). I also put in the notes to call me after they fixed it. No call. 2/15/22 we received an email for a wine tasting night that will only allow 40 people. So the entire complex is paying for only a handful of people to drink for free. Also this month was a Bingo event (in addition to last month) that also had free food and alcohol that was limited to 35 people. Why are residents fronting the cost for events they may not be able to attend? 2/16/22 Residents received a note over the last week saying that there would be a cash incentive for leaving five star Google reviews. They are paying people to fabricate reviews to offset negative marks. read more

Do not live here if the smell of marijuana offends you. It states in the lease no smoke or odors should emanate from your unit to another unit. We called maintenance almost everyday for a month and they finally just stopped showing up. But they did confirm the smoke enough times to send multiple violations to the neighbor. Not sure if they ever did because it never got better. Everyday our apartment is smoked out. All maintenance could do is rubber band cheese cloth over our vents...thats real cute. Also DO NOT live here without car insurance because chances are your car will be stolen or damaged. Cars are stolen and broken into everyday and management plays stupid about it. RENTER BEWARE!! THIS PLACE SCAMMED ME OUT OF MY SECURITY DEPOSIT AND A TOTAL OF 800$ I rented here for a year and recently moved out at the end of March this year. I received notice in the mail that I was being charged over 800$ to replace damaged carpet through the entire apartment. I requested photos as I did NOT leave this place damaged in the slightest. The photos they produced showed no evidence of 800$ of damages. Photos provided below so that you can be the judge if you see 800$ worth of damage. Prior to moving in I read google reviews and thought people were over exaggerating well, I'm here to tell you that the negative google reviews are 100% true as I've experienced all of those. BUG/SPIDER INFESTED. I would see 5-7 HUGE BLACK spiders daily. I requested that a professional company come spray the apartment. They stated that per their policy they had to attempt two times to spray it themselves before they would pay the money to have it done professionally. After the first two sprays they ignored my third request altogether. Rent here if you don't mind losing money at move out and if you don't mind laying on your couch with TONS of spiders. I will continue sharing this on all social media outlets possible since I have been wronged and treated poorly. If you are a young, hard working professional like myself that wants a quiet, CLEAN and relaxing place then this is NOT it. I've lived in these apartments for nearly 2.5 years. I have a garden view (basement) apartment and for the price, I have been content. Yes, I have a major ant problem in my bathroom and kitchen that no one has fixed except laying down traps when I complain. I spent time in Africa and have just dealt with the seasonal 6 months of this by daily vacuuming. However, recently had a leak in the shower above mine - first two times I complained they just painted over the stained drywall. This round, it has now been 10 days - 5 days of constant complaining for the leak to be fixed and now I'm waiting to have my drywall fixed - which has mold, is bowing from all the damage, smells horrendous, and cracked. Still no word on this issue being fixed despite calls. So for the money - yeah it makes sense to live her but I wish I hadn't renewed my lease. read more

It will be a year in November that I have lived here. It is an extremely fair price, including all utilities, except for you're electricity. The community is extremely safe, I'm never worried to be walking around at night or getting home late. It's beautiful, bright and clean (almost every morning a see staff picking up trash). Every apartment gets a pond view, which is beautiful at all times of the day and year. I absolutely love showing off my apartment, even though there's only two windows (1 in the bedroom and also the door wall) there is so much light. The pool area is huge, and never seems to be crowded (remember to always bring your ID). I have always valued the dedication of the maintenance crew. I have called at many different hours of the day for things; my sink being clogged, my dishwasher leaking, the nob on my dryer breaking. They were either always there with in a half hour or I got a call that they were on there way. And what ever the problem, it was always fixed 100%, in a timely manor. Yes there are bugs, the main ones being flies, mosquitoes, and spiders. I was always petrified of spiders and have now realized that they really don't bother you, so I don't mind them too much anymore (they eat the mosquitoes), and I hardly find them inside. If you ever face a problem, Dawn Miller is amazing and very understanding. I had a small hiccup concerning one of my rent payments and she was able to straighten it all out for me, worry free. I'm surprised at the low yelp score. Yes, there are problems with my apartment but anywhere you live will have problems. If you own a house nothing will be perfect and other apartments won't be perfect. I will say maintenance is always responsive. I have found if you call someone responds quickly. If you do an online work order there is definitely a delay. Tyler and Kyle are two maintenance techs that do a great job! They are polite, professional, and genuinely care about fixing problems. The community is nice. Love the pools and grounds crew is constantly working to keep things nice. I'll agree the apartments in phase 1 are dated but everything works and the apartment is clean. I love the pond views!!! Overall, I'm happy here and will stay a while longer. read more

I would literally give this place a 0 if I could. This place is atrocious unless you can afford the really expensive phase 3 apartments. And for what you're paying for a phase 3, you might as well get a house or rent one. I lived here for three years in phase one and phase two apartments. Both apartments I lived in were disgusting by no fault of my own. The first one I moved into had a huge nasty stain on the carpet in the living room that they refused to clean before I moved in, and then they tried to charge me to clean it! No thanks! The bathroom in that apartment had a fan that was not working correctly, and as a result mold grew in there so quickly and I had to clean it daily. The baseboards were falling off in some places. The bathroom ceiling had water stains all over it almost as if water was dripping from above. The neighbors are heathens for the most part - disrespectful and loud with no regard for people who actually have to wake up early and go to work. Don't call the police on them, or you'll get your car keyed like I did! Only $500 to repair my car door that was scratched to the metal. :) Maintenance was allowed to barge into your apartment whenever they felt like it to change furnace filters and stuff like that. Once they entered my apartment WHILE I WAS IN THE SHOWER. Not at all acceptable! Avoid this terrible disgusting complex at all costs. read more

Living at the Harbor's (Clinton Township) from May 2018 until March 2022 was pleasant they even offered a police discount of $20.00. The issue was when I moved out April 30, 2022. I went to the office and answered their email that I will not be renewing my lease. I was locked out of my apartment April 29,2022 while I was moving. When I went to office to tell them I been locked out one receptionist had the audacity to stall me while the other receptionist went to another room to call maintenance to go to my apartment to check and see if I destroyed anything. I felt so disrespected for one I been living here for four years and for two I'm a police officer so why would they feel the need to treat me in such a manner. The Harbor's changed their door locks to keyless entry so I was unable to re enter the apartment which caused me to set off track on moving. I maybe a month later called inquiring about my safety deposit. I was told it should be coming in the mail in the next couple of weeks. Three months later no check I checked my emails nothing checked my mail nothing my account nothing no funds. TO make matters even more unpleasant and frustrating when I called the Harbor's they told me to call corporate which I did. I then was to contact a person named Mecca once she called back I finds out I was turned over to collections. I was like WHAT! How! Mecca goes on to tell me I didn't give the Harbor's a sixty day notice so they prorated May 1,2022 to May 13, 2022 which gave them the balance of $513.00 for thirteen days remember I was told I had to be out the apartment by April 30, 2022 to not be charged for May 1,2022 rent. then she tell me there was damage to the apartment and sent me photos. These people will do anything not to give you your refund back. These photos showed that the carpet had a few dirt stains dust left on the kitchen counter stain in the oven from food and get these stains from dye from face towels that were over the towel bar are you freaking serious. I been living here for like I said four years not once had they came to clean the carpet. they the things they took pictures of and charged me for taking all my security deposit was pure "GREED" I will never recommend the Harbor's Apartments to anyone. I will be writing this review on all my social media accounts and I will have my friends share it so people can know how far the Harbor's Apartments will go to not give you a refund when you move. read more

They took our security deposit and charged us extra money on top of it. We cleaned the carpets thoroughly before we left but that didn't matter. They wanted to replace the carpet due to "age" and then used our security deposit to cover the cost. Smoke detectors go off constantly when you turn on the oven, loud neighbors, cheap everything, the gym smells terrible. The list goes on. When we applied they said we could have pets they approved us we paid our 300.00 fee plus's a 100.00 application fee plus money for our pets then they said our pets weighed too much four pounds over an wouldn't be accepted I showed my dogs support papers an they wouldn't take them a 14 year old basset hound an a basset mix very low maintenance an very obedient this happened the week before we were to move in can you believe it . Yes no place for us to live cause we had closed our house now we are staying at a campground till we find another apartment an we don't get any of our deposits back . Not only am I calling HUD cause of the support license but I'm taking them to small claims court to get my money what a horrible experience. Super friendly staff that go above and beyond when there's an inconvenience, we have lots of community event which the office throws every year Halloween, pool parties etc which is nice, also there is always something going on at the gym Zumba, fitness and different classes. The staff even go above and beyond to sit outside and pass out breakfast on the way to work. The reason for 4 stars is the noise complaints are ridiculous, you literally have to tip toe if you live on the second floor. They take a while for any work orders you need to put in, but if you have kids they are quick to come out to your home to tell you to quiet down or send you a notice. read more

When I first got in, I noticed the little things that needed to be fixed - the deadbolt was broken, most of the doors don't shut right, the kitchen looks shabby, etc. Unfortunately, I didn't have many options at the time because so many places were going through renovations at the time I needed to move in or were too far away from where I'd wanted to be. Little by little, other things started popping up. I realized the water heater was falling through the floor (I'm on the second floor) because of water damage and they has just put towels down (I couldn't even tell they were towels because of the mildew that had been left to grow) on the ground to soak up the water. It was so bad that the man they sent to take care of it was even shocked that it was as sunken as it was. Their solution? Use a thin board to make it level again, ignoring the problem. The bathtub started peeling - I guess they painted it to cover a stain or something, but there are constant paint chips coming off and sometimes large sheets of it - not so pleasant when you'd like to take a bath sometimes. Then we had a leak in the living room that cause some water damage to our couch and the roof has multiple water spots, some several feet long. The living room fan stopped working due to this as well. They JUST sent someone (almost 2 months later) to come look at the damage. And they haven't said anything about the couch, so who knows if anything will be done with that. Today, after calling, leaving messages, taking screen shots of their app (to prove what was happening), and leaving a message on their bulletin board that the app was not allowing me to pay the bill, I was told I had to pay a late fee and have to pay with a cashier's check now. I'm trying to get ahold of upper management now to straighten this issue out. I'm sure some of the newer, more renovated, apartments in this complex might be nice, but considering they charge the same amount for the outdated, crappy ones, this is ridiculous. I've never dealt with such terrible landlords. Oh! They also had my fiance's second car towed because of expired tags! It's not illegal to have expired tags of you aren't driving it and this was our emergency vehicle. He has just recently moved from SC and gotten out of the military. Unfortunately, he's in a "probationary" period at his new work and can't get time off on week days. I am still active duty and can't just take time off either and their hours are very limiting for us. If they'd ever pick up their phones, this wouldn't be such an issue. There is no warning before they take your vehicle either, so beware of that because you'll be shelling over $260+ in cash to a sketchy little lot of a towing agency to get your vehicle back. I think I've expressed how I feel about this place well enough for now. I can't wait for the lease to be up. read more

I had called a month ago maybe longer about the paint splattered all over the staircase to our apartment door and near our door. Our neighbor moved out so maintenance must have painted her apartment. Dripped paint everywhere!!! This is my home, I am paying $800 a month and have to look at this sloppy mess EVERYDAY! My guests even comment on the paint splatter asking why they haven't taken care of the situation. When i called i POLITELY requested to have this mess cleaned up. Office took my name, apartment number, and cell phone number- i have not heard anything regarding the situation. Obviously they don't care because they are not the ones who have to look at it everyday. I expected at least a call back! So rude! I took pictures of the mess too if they need to see them. I understand the office must get busy with this large community, i have been more than patient waiting for them to help! read more

I lived here for 1 1/2years. The 1st apartment was in the front and was kind of a nightmare. The neighbors were really noisy, I swear the guy upstairs walked back and forth all day long! There were kids that would kick soccer balls on the side on the unit which was noisy and I was afraid the soccer ball would break the windows and I would have to pay for it. When they built new units in the back I moved back there which was awesome! Everything was brand new and perfectly maintained. I was transferred to CA 1/2 way through my 2nd lease and they worked with me to release the unit so i didn't have to pay the remainder of my lease. read more

I loved this place when my ex and I lived here for around 4 years. 1apt was cool. Good neighbors. 2nd apt was hell from the neighbors. We never had an issue with maintenance. Staff was always friendly. Recently drove by today and noticed they put up carports. Totally awesome. read more

We moved in may of 2019. They tried to tell us that the previous tenant of our apt retracted their move out notice 2 weeks before we were supposed to move in. They told us that the only apt they had available was way out of our price range and wouldn't budge on working with us about the price. I raised hell there and they let us move in. The people around our apt were loud and obnoxious and they didn't do anything about it. There was never any parking by our building. Now we're about to move out which is a 60 day notice, not 30 days, so I missed our 60 day window by a week (which was my fault, I should have checked) and they refuse to work with us over a week even though we were model tenants. Never late or missed a payment. My best advice, find somewhere else to live. read more

Honestly, if I could give this place 0 stars, I would. (Warning, this is a long review about MY personal experience. I would love if you took the time to read it so that you don't go through the same thing.) I've been looking into the Harbours for years and always thought they were beautiful. My boyfriend and I toured a unit on 8/17 and immediately got bad vibes. First, the woman giving us the tour was stoned out of her mind. She dropped her keys repeatedly, asked for our names more than once and even made a reference about sleeping with one of us so that we can get a better deal. The apartment was super affordable and obviously we loved all the amenities that came with it so we overlooked our representative and applied as soon as we got home. It was on a Wednesday. We called Friday to verify that everything was submitted and looked good. They said everything looked great and we should be getting a call back soon. We called again Monday evening to double check because at this point, it had been 4 days. Once again, they said everything looked great. We called again that Friday and finally were told that we only paid one application fee. Okay, no problem! We went up to the apartment and paid the other app fee and were told we would be contacted soon. Monday came around and we got a call saying that they lost our other application fee. Luckily I saved the email with the confirmation number and was able to send it right away. Finally, I called today, 8/30 to find out if the rep received our email with the confirmation number. He refused to speak to me and told the lady I was speaking with to tell me everything was set and we will get a call back within 2-7 business days. THEN at 6:30 PM on 8/30, we got a call from the woman who toured us around the unit asking if we were still interested and if we would like to apply. I told her all the issues we were having and that we will hopefully be receiving a call back within 2-7 business days. She asked for my name (even though she called me) and pulled up our app. She then told us that our application wasn't processed because we didn't bring in proof of income, sign the rental agreement or talk about the pet policy. She told me our app won't be submitted until we go in and provide all of the things listed above. I will be speaking with a manager tomorrow morning, cancelling our application and getting our money back. The management at this facility is complete garbage. All I can say is, thank you God for pushing us away from this complex because who knows how many problems we would have had if we would have actually moved in. read more

Full of bedbugs , never get your security deposit back no matter how nice and clean leave the apartment, they will make you pay for a new carpet at least 300$ on the top of your deposit. read more
