The receptionist when I called was so friendly and really gave me a great vibe which put me at ease, because getting a tooth pulled is kinda scary! She fit me in for an appointment next day and asked me to fill out the forms online. I absolutely forgot to do so and when I came in she was so forgiving about it like it's not a problem at all take your time. Just absolutely nice. Like 3 different people came in to either assist me at some point or just to chat while I was waiting which was so nice. Even though the wait wasn't long, sitting there just waiting for someone to yank your tooth out can be a little nerve wrecking. The procedure took some work bc my teeth are stubborn but the Dr was so patient and talked me through everything. It was just such a great experience. The icing on the cake was, I just got a call from her checking up on me to see how I was feeling. I've been to many doctors and dentists for different things and I've never received such care. EVER!! We were 10 minutes late. The receptionist told us the dentist had to leave by 1 PM . This was our first time at this office and we would be a new patient. According to the notes of the person who made our appointment we were told to be at the office by 12 noon because the dentist had to leave at 1 PM. I do not recall being told we had to be there by 12 PM. We received multiple text messages stating our appointment time with no mention of the doctor leaving early or arrive early to fill out the required forms so we could start on time. So we did not see the dentist. Oddly enough there was another client who arrived at the same time as we did for work on a crown. He was an established patient and was seen. We were told to reschedule. I said no because we hired ambulete to get my sister there as she can not stand. I was told this office had a hoyer lift to help her get in the dentist chair comfortably. I might add this was the only office that uses the hoyer lift in Nassau and Sufolk that uses the device. My complaint is simple why did the scheduler who made this appointment not call us back to reschedule when she knew the doctor had to leave early? Also if you needed work on a crown what are the odds the job would be done in 20 minutes! I have to say this is poor office management. My Dad surgery was scheduled for February 11, 2025. He was a bit nervous since he had never…read moreundergone surgery before. After the procedure, He woke up feeling severe pain, not mainly from the implants themselves, but a strange and intense discomfort on the left side of my jaw. Although the clinic reassured him that this pain was a normal part of recovery, it didn't improve over the next week. By February 18, the pain had become unbearable, and he went to the emergency room. There, he was diagnosed with a lacerated tongue, something he was never informed of nor treated for after the surgery. Yelp can not publish that photo because it is too graphic. Additionally, the results of the implants were different from what was initially shown to him, affecting his ability to smile fully because the implant is visible. My father has fallen into deep depression and has since contacted an attorney and is pursuing legal action to address these issues.
