I went in for emergency care because my dentist is Jewish and was worshiping but my wisdom tooth had me in agony. Turns out I had an infection (not cavity) near the bone because of how the tooth was growing ( in an "S" formation close to the root). At the time of the visit, I had taken nearly a bottle of Motrin and could not find relief. The reception and dental assistant were both very gentle and sweet, constantly checking on me while I waited. The wait wasn't ridiculous despite there being about 5 families/ groups ahead of me. After about 30 mins I saw the dr who was a young Jewish guy, very caring and warm. He took his time to look at the images. He explained because of how the tooth was growing they'd have to extract it but because of how it would affect my bite, they had to insert an implant at a later date. What I didn't expect was the projected bill of $11,000 despite having insurance. Baby! I would take that tooth out myself from the pain and that cost. I was flabbergasted. Like why? For transparency I am showing the bill. Thank God he prescribed me some pain medication to help me get through the night and the next morning I went right back to my dentist. Even the next day, his staff called several times to check up on me and see how I was doing. Again, 10 stars on the patient care. That price though is a straight hustle.

I had a crown on a separate tooth that had been stable for nearly 10 years. Despite clearly stating I did not want it replaced, the dentist strongly encouraged me to have both procedures done at the same time, assuring me it would hold and prevent future issues. I trusted that advice. Within six months, the new crown broke -- and now that tooth requires extraction. I was also advised to have a root canal on an additional tooth. Only after the procedure was completed was I informed that a crown would not properly fit and would likely keep falling off. That is critical information I needed before agreeing to the procedure -- not after. I arrived with one problem and left with multiple complications, additional procedures, and significant out-of-pocket expenses. The office initially indicated I would be reimbursed for the failed work, then reversed course and directed me to contact my insurance instead. This experience has been painful, stressful, and deeply disappointing. I felt pressured into procedures I did not initially want, and the outcomes raise serious concerns about the transparency and judgment exercised here. I strongly recommend seeking treatment elsewhere. A full vlog documenting my experience will be posted soon.

I've had a crown on this tooth for 45 years. I went back to see what could be done since this tooth was in the front of my mouth. She was very rude and aggressive. As a Nurse Practitioner, I was appalled at how she spoke to a patient. I was hoping for a resolution but got none. As a cash paying customer, I was hoping for a different response. Crowns should last longer than 3 years!

Love the office and adore the staff and Dentist, Dr. Zoya…read more I go for cleanings twice a year. Dr. Zoya has a new machine for wrinkles. I discussed this laser technique with her on my last visit. She said painlessly she can rid my wrinkles around my mouth. This seems like such a great alternative to getting needles. And will make my entire face more youthful without the lines dragging down my smile.

I debated for a long time about writing this review. I was angry for a while and didn't want to…read moresound emotional, but enough time has passed for me to share my experience clearly. My Invisalign treatment with Dr. Yadgarov began in July 2022. I chose her because I liked her approach and she had flexible office hours, including weekends. I also underwent significant periodontal work beforehand, and it was understood my case would require a slower, more careful process. Problems began by tray 17 of my first set of aligners when one lower tooth stopped tracking properly. The tray began forcing the tooth against another, creating extreme pressure. I repeatedly raised concerns and eventually had to push for a rescan after even sending photos showing the issue. Despite restarting treatment (a new set of 20 trays), the same tooth never fully corrected. Dr. Yadgarov decided to shave the tooth to help it fit into the aligner, but she shaved too much, leaving it looking chipped, pointy, and uneven. Eventually, by the 20th tray, I was told, "I think we're done," even though I still had serious bite issues. After treatment, my bite had significantly collapsed. I had virtually no bite on one side and difficulty chewing normally. Multiple dentists, periodontists, and NYU Dental all told me the case should have been addressed much earlier and ultimately recommended restarting with braces. I was also told my plan was labeled "moderate," typically including two rounds of trays, which made me question whether cost played a role in stopping treatment when it did. Before starting, I was told my fee covered treatment until completion. On top of that, I had difficulty getting the buttons removed because other providers would not evaluate me until they were taken off, which delayed my ability to seek proper follow-up care. I should also mention that I had a cleaning done by Dr. Yadgarov because I was told that her office accepted my insurance. After the appointment, I was charged $150. I reminded her that she had specifically told me they took my insurance. Her response was, "Yes, we take your insurance, but we never said it would be covered completely." I found that response ridiculous given how frequently I was in the office for nearly two years, I felt basic insurance verification should have been handled upfront. During my search for follow-up care, no provider was willing to complete retainers or take over the case, leaving me feeling that the treatment was never properly finished. Over the next two years, the consequences were significant. I lost two teeth, required implants, needed a crown replacement, and ultimately had to undergo multiple prosthodontic procedures just to restore a functional bite. Based on everything I experienced, I personally believe Dr. Yadgarov's approach was not appropriate for my case and that financial considerations appeared to outweigh patient outcomes. I chose to proceed despite mixed reviews, and I regret that decision. If it was not going to be a straightforward Invisalign treatment, and she couldn't handle it, she should have recommended me to a periodontist to complete the work. This was irresponsible. What should have been a straightforward Invisalign treatment turned into years of pain, corrective procedures, and lasting damage I will continue to deal with.

He…read moreremoved the tooth on August 17.Despite the fact that every article and dentist that I have spoken to advises that a tooth extraction should hurt for no more than one week I saw him four or five more times and each time he told me my Mouth was healing, despite my complaining of continual pain. Finally after a month of visits I finally lost my temper in his office, he sent me to a friend of his in Massapequa. This was only after I insisted that the pain was continuing and that my two knee replacements healed quicker than his tooth extraction. His friend in Massapequa did a perfunctory exam and sent me home telling me there was nothing wrong. Thankfully, I found an oral surgeon in Hewlett, Joshua Wolf who immediately did a test and indicated that I needed to be hospitalized and treated as my jawbone was so fragile that it was in danger of fracturing. I had the surgery at Mount Sinai in Oceanside and a biopsy was done, which indicated that not only did I have an infection, but had cancer in my jawbone. It is still to be determined how much the cancer spread while Dr. Kshonz was insisting that it was healing. At some point I should've been told That the tooth was not healing properly and that I should seek the advice of an oral surgeon. I have been advised that a cosmetic dentist probably should've referred the initial extraction to an oral surgeon. His refusal to acknowledge after weeks of treatment that my pain was not normal, and the fact that it required me to finally throw a temper tantrum in his office Is inexcusable. My family and I used him in the past but his casual approach to what turned out to be a grave matter cannot be forgiven. I never post negative reviews, but my life was actually in danger due to his lack of action. A sore that doesn't heal is an indication of something more than simple pain from an extraction.
