Do not rent anything from them. My son got a tux from there. He picked it up a day before his prom. When he put it on it was way to big. He couldn't even wear the pants. He said when he told them they were to big she asked if he had a belt. So he had to wear his brother's pants and a jacket that was falling off of him. We called over to the shop and the owner was very disrespectful. All she kept saying was how much experience she had. She apparently is not a tailor or she could fit a tux. WARNING!!!! DO NOT RENT SUITS AT STEUBENVILLE TAILORINGS AND ALTERATIONS!!! I would give them 0 stars if possible! Horrible customer service. First, the woman who measured my son for his suit talked him out of getting the ultra slim fit pants that he wanted, assuring him that the modern "slim" would still be very slim just not tight...WRONG!!! The pants that came on were HUGE & BAGGY...they looked like clown pants and this place would do NOTHING to help correct the issue, not even offer a discount. I ended up having to drive to Robinson to BUY the correct fit of pants. And, speaking of the cost, when we priced the suit online (aboutan hour before going to the shop), it was priced at $188. That price included EXACTLY what we ended up renting (suit coat, pants, the exact same tie, pocket square, and shoes, PLUS a vest). The only differences in what we priced online & what was actually rented were the pants (online was ultra slim & what was rented was modern slim) and online we priced the suit with a vest which at the shop we were talked out of (so NO vest). Now, with that being said, remember the online price of $188? Oh NO...we were charged $297...yeah, you read that right...over $100 more than anticipated AND we had to buy pants elsewhere. When this issue was brought to the shop's attention, we were told (extremely rudely) that they can't do ANYTHING to correct this issue either & that the online price doesn't include measuring. SERIOUSLY??? They charge $100 to measure someone? When that question was asked we were told that we were being unreasonable & should just bring the suit back now (the day of the dance) and we would receive a full refund & could just go BUY A SUIT SOMEWHERE ELSE, otherwise nothing can be done to help!!! WOW!!! I have NEVER experienced such horrible customer service in my life. I would NEVER reccomend this "business " to anybody. Actually just the opposite. I will be sure to tell every person I know how terrible this place is & warn them to never rent from here. read more
