I then asked when can I expect them being hemmed, she gave me a date, said they would call, of course they didn't, so I gave them some weeks. Stopped by and they were done, but guess what..........they only take cash. Came back a few days later with cash, got my pants but felt I was over charged for the work they did. Not a fan of this place, the customer service is nonexistent, the price for small jobs is asinine, and the work was just ok.

Sami Boumadi was not organized whatsoever, in multiple ways. For instance, he received approximately $3,000 in fronted money from myself and the groomsmen, for the suits. Two months later, Sami calls me and tells me that he hasn't ordered the suits yet and that there is a Covid based shortage. When my wife and I initially met with Sami regarding the color scheme of the suits, he had a very condescending attitude towards my wife. Sami also had a trick up his sleeve, in which he tried to convince one of my groomsmen to pay $250 for alterations. When this groomsman called him out on it, Sami quickly changed the price to $50. Highly suspicious move on his part. To top it all off, every groomsmen's suit was humongous and needed significant alterations. My suit was so large on me, Sami needed to order a different pair of pants. Why even take measurements for a suit, when the suits were well beyond a good fit for us? With all the money and business that I provided Sami, you would think he would cut me a break and cover alterations. But nope, bullshit. If you want to save yourself money, stress, and a very large quantity of headaches, stay away from Boumadi's. Go elsewhere.

The manager/seamstress, was dismissive from the start. Instead of offering her professional opinion on hemming my dress, she simply told me to decide how short I wanted it, without examining the garment or providing any guidance. I basically should have pinned the garment on my own because she was worthless. When I got to the counter, she handed me a waiver. When I politely asked why I needed to sign a formal gown waiver for a jersey knit dress, she responded, "I'm the manager, and you sign it or I I can refuse to do your alterations,". When I continued to ask why this was considered a formal gown, she started removing the pins to say she wasn't doing the work. Scary she is a manager. When I asked who I could contact to share my concerns, she told me to "do my own research and figure it out." That response was unprofessional and completely inconsistent with the service I've received from Alterations Express over the years. I contacted the corporate office and hope the company addresses this hostile employee. no customer should ever be treated that way.
