This clinic charges 160 dollars an hour for gentle massage work. Seems greedy to me. I'll have to try home physical therapy...

I don't want to be bothered with this, I rather go back to my lunch, go to your main doctor for the problem." When I requested for the paperwork he writes whiplash because he didn't feel like doing the paperwork that required him to do his job. He did not give me a full evaluation or time knowing that I spent over three to four hundred dollars to go see him. The most laziest doctor I have ever met, after coming back home I lost the ability to use my hands and it was the most scariest thing. Don't waste the time, look for someone else.

I have to preface this by saying that I first went to Tennessee Orthopedic Alliance after having…read morebeen referred there by my primary Doctor. Suffice it to say that my experience there was less than optimal. The doctor I saw was competent and super nice but didn't help me much. I decided to get a second opinion at Vandy and was blown away at how efficient, competent, friendly, and effective everything about their office was. I was in and out in less time than I was in the first waiting room at TOA, with a diagnosis (rotator cuff tendinitis) and plan of attack in the form of physical therapy. If you have any sort of sports related injury, please go here first. Dr. Fitch is my doc there and he is fantastic.

They were very accommodating in terms of allowing me to go one time, show me all the exercises to do at home, because my insurance deductable is so high that I could not afford in person visits. The actual physical therapist was fine, though her assistant came to my side with her mask below her nose (this is a mandatory mask building or at least was at the time of my visit). When I asked her to please raise her mask over her nose she accommodated, however, I shouldn't have had to ask a professional in the first place, when the building mandates masks. In addition, my experience with this company over the years has been that it feels like a factory. They show the exercise and walk away. They gave me one small band for home exercise and sent the exercise instructions to an old email address. I'd given them the updated one on my intake form. When I called (a second time) to request an additional band and an email to the correct address, the receptionist didn't answer the phone with the company name, just "hello". and seemed very put out with my request. I would not recommend this organization.

I spent several months doing traditional PT at Vanderbilt for long standing, significant back (and…read morerelated) issues and pain. Within 3 weeks of starting to work with Dan I had accomplished more in regards to mobility, pain reduction, problem identification/conceptualization, hope for, and actual, improvement than I had during my entire time in PT. I'm very curious about how things work and Dan explains each thing we do in session together, and helps me to understand how and why it works. His knowledge base is outstanding. Dan also goes above and beyond the standard "training" session every time we meet, and has a genuine, personal interest and investment in his clients getting better/reaching their goals. I am so grateful for our work together and how much improvement I have already gained. If you are someone who is looking for above and beyond personal training, Dan is absolutely the way to go!
