I wish I had signed on right then. Not having experience with braces or Invisalign ever in my life, I spent about a year checking out other practices. I wasted a year because no one else came near to the superb expertise of Dr. Woo. He is a 'Diamond rated top1% Invisalgin Provider'. I was originally naive to understand what that meant! My treatment lasted 2 years (wearing a retainer now for probably 4 months) and Dr. Woo went over and beyond his commitment for my contract of about 15 months. The quality of care was exceptional. He uses advanced technology for diagnostic and continuing care. The dental staff are highly trained. I always felt safe and cared for. I have delta ppo so when you visit a ppo provider the dentist agrees to accept an amount that may be less then what is billed and copay calculated before insurance pays. The difference was never adjusted and my question was ignored several times when inquiring. Finally after saying I would contact delta dental professional services Meghan told me they would cut me a check and wasn't sure where the misunderstanding happened. Im sorry you dont just cut someone a $400 check if they aren't understanding billing, you would explain to them. If you have a ppo insurance definitely check your insurance statements vs what you are billed after services provided. Also one time I was blindsided by getting a $500 bill from the office in the mail. Meghan said waiting on insurance payment to ignore it and that she submitted several times, that insurance play games that she's been doing this for 20 years... I called delta dental they said they hadn't received needed documentation and after I sent a text to the office with an email to submit suddenly delta dental paid with in 5 days so Meghan is the one who was playing games. There were a few times where Meghan wasn't honest but plays it off as she knows her sh*t. Unfortunately because of billing/ insurance issues I said I would not longer be going there after finding a dentist i felt comfortable with.

I just got x-rays less than a year ago and in the past, when I have switched dentists, the office let me transfer recent xrays with no problem. For this dentist, the office manager told me over the phone (first time calling in) that they need to do their own x rays. When I started asking questions and advocating that I would like to have my xrays sent over since they are recent and didn't want to feel forced to get more xrays, the office manager, very "fake nice" like said "Well we aren't just the right fit for you" and then hung up on me! When I called back to ask why she hung up on me just for asking questions (I wasn't being rude, didn't raise my voice) she stated "I was just done talking to you" and then "I need to wrap this up" TERRIBLE customer service if the first time you call, you can't ask questions, your desires and needs aren't respected and your voice doesn't matter in your own care. I have worked in customer service for over a decade and know first hand this is NOT how you treat a customer or a patient.
