She took time in the initial consultation to thoroughly check my teeth and give me a detailed prognosis of my teeth and what work I needed done. I'm always on the lookout for dishonest dentist that suggest extra unnecessary work. Therefore, I took the time to teach myself a bit of dentistry 101. I can tell you that Dr. Shai is completely on the up and up. She did not suggest a single thing that I did not need. She also had a very pleasant personality and explained in detail what work I needed done and why. I believe the few reviews on here suggesting that she tried to up-sell is a result of her thoroughness. She suggests a lot of preventative procedures that will benefit you in the long run. In fact she suggested some of the same procedures to me that people below mentioned in the negative reviews. None of these are unnecessary. However, they are not urgent. This may be why a few people felt that she was trying to up sell. However, take it from me, she is an honest lady that's just trying to give you the best care for your teeth possible. Now that my old amazing dentist has retired I do believe that I have found my new permanent dentist.
