I will say that I wasn't planning on having a photographer at all for my wedding. I planned our whole Las Vegas wedding from Canada and my intention was always to get one of those like 20 photo package deals that come along with your officiant and locale. I ended up doing everything a la carte so tried to find a cheap photographer online. I came across their website a few times in my searches but I honestly thought that I could never afford them. I called them up (or emailed them, can't remember it was some time ago) and spoke with Steven's wife, Chris. She was so lovely and so determined to work with us and within our budget it was nice to have someone so accommodating when planning from afar. I had made a deal with myself that if any of my vendors didn't email me back within a timely fashion or was rude or difficult I would have to drop them because I was planning from another country and needed to have 100% confidence in the people I was dealing with. These guys were always on top of emails and always called on time for my phone dates to hammer out details, I never once had to consider dropping them. Chris was so personable on the phone that we ended up talking for some time just about random stuff, it was nice to feel like the person whom you are investing all this time and money into actually wants to take the time to get to know you so that they personalize their work with you. Some other key points that I liked about this photographer: 1. Their flexibility: I was having a reception back home and asked for a few photos to make a slideshow for those who weren't able to attend my las vegas wedding. The reception was only 2 weeks after our actual wedding and they turned around our special slideshow photos within a couple of days in order accommodate our request. 2. Their positivity: When they work with you they are very good at staying positive and also making you feel beautiful and confident. Steven was exclaiming at the photos he was taking and it made me feel like he wanted to be there and it wasn't just some paycheque for him. They were constantly engaged with us and our guests. 3. Their dedication: So I had my reception at a hotel and due to some issues the alcohol was an hour late getting to our suite so our guests were kind of standing around and tired. I had only paid for an hour for them to stay at the reception and so most of those photos would have been of me being angry trying to get the alcohol thing sorted out. they stayed just a little longer so we could get our money's worth and get the pics we really wanted. 4. THE PHOTOS of course! I you look at the website and fall in love with the photos like I did you won't be disappointed. The photos they use to market themselves are of the same quality of the photos you will get. My photos look amazing, some of the ones in the desert very surreal and cool, while others made me cry by the emotion of the day that they captured. I give 5 stars because I really feel like their work was personalized and that they went above and beyond what I had expected! read more

Hands-down the best photographer in the Las Vegas Area. My wife and I married in October of 2014 and we chose Steven Joseph as our photographer. We booked Steven Joseph for the post-wedding pictures and reception. The only regret I have for that day is not using Steven Joseph for EVERYTHING! Unfortunately, we married at a hotel on the strip that required us to use the hotel photographer for our wedding. When we received the pictures from the wedding (hotel photographer), they were ok. However, when we looked at the post-wedding and reception photos (Steven Joseph), we were blown away!! They were AWESOME! My wife and I were able to visit Las Vegas once before the wedding and meet with Steven Joseph and his wife. They were extremely accommodating. They met us at a local coffee shop to discuss our ideas for our special day and were super-fast in replying to email. Even if we had not met them for coffee, we never had to worry about what time they were going to be at a location and always felt extremely comfortable about the process. During the reception, I vaguely noticed him taking photos (which is good).When I received all the pictures, however, he had taken photos and captured so many moments that I never saw...even a photo of grandma getting down. For that, I am extremely grateful. Distinguished, exceptional, impressive, phenomenal, superior, A-1, out of this world (and any other synonyms of outstanding) are the only way to explain how we feel about Steven Joseph. p.s. Our "event" was actually engagement photos in Las Vegas... Steve & Chris were fantastic from the first time we contacted them. We had 2 specific desires for this photo session- we wanted photos done in the Neon Museum with the old signs and we wanted some with the cool neon downtown at night. Unfortunately we could only rent out the museum in the morning, so Steve & Chris met us bright and early on a Friday morning for our first hour, then again for another hour at night! They were super accommodating and ready to listen to any ideas that we had for poses, but they gave us a lot fun poses too that made it a really memorable day. What I really loved about them is that they met us for a total of 2 hours (we are from out of town, found their work on the internet and made arrangements over the phone) but they made us instantly at ease and they were able to evoke those special emotions from us that you want captured on film during any event. Steve Fogarty is not an average photographer he is an Artist. Any one with a camera can call himself a Photographer but many Photographers do not have the skills, timing or eye to create ART with their equipment. Steve on the other hand has those skills. He captures moments that you didn't even know existed throughout your event and the shots are beautiful. Here are some other reasons why we were impressed with Steve: 1. I did a fair amount of research for our wedding photographer and I was so happy to have found Steve and his wife, Chris. I'm an aspiring photographer and I loved his work from the first time I saw it. I have nothing but good things to say about Steve and Chris. They were very professional and fun at the same time. At times, you forget they're even there capturing all the special moments. They truly are artists. Steve was an amazing photographer! He's flexible, fun, energetic and willing to go the extra mile. My husband and I opted for photojournalistic photos and Steve easily accommodated us. First, let me start off by saying this review is long overdue! I think we have just been putting it off because we don't want to admit that the wedding is over... Steve and Chris are the best! Our guests loved them! They made sure to get pictures of everyone, I think they took over 1,000 pics in under 4 hours.
