He is absolutely non judgemental- how many times did you go to the dentist only to be lectured about what your doing wrong. He is however very informative about how to have better dental health. Did you know you can floss your entire dental bridge? The dentist I used to go to put the bridge in and never educated me on how to care for it. He is friendly, but not overly, and he works within your dental coverage. Finally, have you ever had a dental emergency? I did and he returned my call quickly and offered to come in on the weekend to fit my schedule. He also has evening hours. I never wrote about a medical professional before,but I just had to with Dr. Flaherty. If there were more dentists like him, people wouldn't be so afraid of dentists.

This practice has been my regular dentist ever since. Dr. Petti himself is so friendly, so nice. Same with the office staff. Apparently the dentist I had been going to before Dr. Petti wasn't so great and I needed to have a deep cleaning procedure done on my teeth. I have never in my life been so thoroughly examined at a dentist's office. I'm bummed that the previous dental hygienist Rose left the practice because she was awesome and so incredibly knowledgeable but the new girl seems really good too.

He was extremely kind and friendly. He asked me a few questions about my past dental history and then took x-rays. After the x-rays he cleaned my teeth and polished them. He was very kind and informative, continually complimenting me on my dental hygiene routine and educating me about how to avoid tartar buildup. Sooo, I happened upon Verona Dental Care via Facebook ads, a friend liked them, and they are just down the street from my eyecare place. I will say a first time routine dental visit was 3 months out. After getting through that hurdle, a couple days before the appointment. I got a text giving me the procedures for a new patient -- xrays, 3d scan, and gum evaluation, but no cleaning at this appointment. I do wish they had said that 3 months ago... I don't have insurance; instead i have a discount plan, which they accept. I remained concerned about costs so at every turn, before appointment, during appointment, and every procedure, I made sure to keep asking about costs. Surprisingly, my final costs were extremely low. No price gouging and no unwarranted upcharges. Procedures were xrays, 3d scan, gum evaluation as stated prior to my visit. Then, my hygienist, Hannah, had time to do the cleaning after all after one other patient. I had sealant easily applied to one tooth and flouride treatment, all of which was discussed with pricing, and I accepted. I have two fillings to be reapplied on a future visit and that is all after meeting with Dr. Gupta. I was impressed by the entire staff. I met and interacted with Cally (spelling?), Kel (spelling?) and Dinah, as well, and all were professional and very pleasant. Dr. Gupta and Hannah accessed my teeth and gums appropriately with plans for future care. The technology used is first rate. Xrays were done with a handheld thingamajig with no need for the lead apron or them to step out of the room. The gum evaluation, sorry to say, is still a poke you in the gums event. That has not changed. Oh, and bonus points -- there are free water bottles in the waiting room lobby.

The practice uses AI to analyze x ray imagery and 3D imagery of teeth- everyone knows how prone AI is to hallucinations- and relies on that for diagnosis. Practice is also prone to overtreatment of small caries that can often remineralize on their own. Glad I got a second opinion.

Tens of thousands of dollars spent. So much pain that I've cried in despair thinking it would never get better. The emotional and physical trauma of it all. I had no choice because over a lifetime of grinding my teeth so that all the nerves were painfully exposed (I couldn't even drink a sip of cold water without near screaming pain), I finally as of today have a successful full mouth of permanent dental implants that look beautiful. Tonight, for the first time in about 30 years, I ate a meal like a normal person WITHOUT pain! If you're ever considering dental implants, know that they aren't as simple as the marketing suggests. There can be complications though not always. Be prepared for what might not be so simple. All in all, despite the trauma, expense, and pain, I'm happy with the ultimate outcome. The first visit,…read morethey said i had cavities that needed filled...ok...so I got them filled the same day....and they weren't filled smoothly!! I had to come back to get the filling smoothed out because they left a ridge and it was bothering my mouth!! they also said i needed MI paste (for $30 from them when online it's ~$15)....ok...so i got that as well not knowing it was something I could get outside of the office I had to come back in for deep cleaning. When i got there however and went through the process, the "deep cleaning" didn't seem like a deep cleaning at all. The initial cleaning the first day seemed more thorough and hurt longer. They did all four quadrants in one session, no novicaine (which if you've had a deep cleaning before...it HURTS.....I needed the nitrous oxide the last time I had one.....and it hurt for multiple weeks after as well when I went before). One of my friends that also has had deep cleanings also said that they're painful and hurt for days afterwards. This one instead didn't hurt except when i was poked a few times, and i was fine to eat/etc right afterwards. While getting the deep cleaning the hygenist (because I never saw the dentist except for the fillings when in the past I saw them for deep cleanings as well) said that my mouth was much better and that she thought the pockets (the reason for the deep cleaning) were probably false pockets, that my mouth was much better than the previous month, that I probably didn't need the deep cleaning and that no antibiotic would be needed...maybe if I came in next time I would need them. So I got a deep cleaning that I may not have needed, didn't feel like a deep cleaning, and set me back $900....in about an hour (they also usually take longer) Poor experiences multiple times... oh--and never met Carl.

Lost 30lbs from not wanting to eat. I ended up getting my portion of a refund for the crown he botched, so he was off the hook for responsibility and replacement of a new crown. I would definitely not recommend him to anyone in my family especially and anyone else. Do yourself a great deal of problems and find a quality Dentist!

I was supposed to get the surgery @ AGH & then return to Dr. Gaga Sandu after. Not only did Dr. Sandu cancel appointments w/o notifying me b4 showing up (prior to surgery). He also blatantly LIED TO ME, GASLIT me into thinking the hospitals ER offered something they didn't, & then when MISCOMMUNICATION was happening he refused to take ANY ACCOUNTABILITY & made me out to be some kinda incompetent fool!!!!
