The way that Dr. Yin and his assistant Sherry dealt with me in making me feel comfortable and well taken care of couldn't compare to any previous experience I've had at the Dentist. I am now 3 1/2 months away from my husband and I walking our son down the aisle. She continuously updated me throughout every appointment, and consulted with me for every procedure to confirm I wanted the work done. She even told me truthfully when something was not in her exact skillset. I've never found a more trustworthy dentist. She did such a good job that a boss once inspected my teeth and said he saw no work done. He didn't even realize was looking at temporary caps! You absolutely can't underestimate the importance of finding an extraordinary dentist. Dr. Shapiro and her staff are dependable, trustworthy and exceptionally talented. Well worth every trip. I was very mad that she didn't tell me while working on my fillings. Again- this was about 3 years ago so she might have gotten better. I'm just very aggravated, because current dentist would be able to complete that task, however my insurance will not cover it since they're not cavities anymore. Lorraine who handles the front desk and billing told me up front what costs would be covered by my insurance and the amounts and what was not. The dental hygienist, Karen was fantastic. It was the best cleaning I ever had and it did not hurt one bit. She was so detailed and thorough and was very informative. Dr. Stanislaw took the time to understand my current situation and I go back next week to have two of my fillings checked as they may have cavities forming. Based on this first experience I would recommend this office for Dental Care. I will report back after my next visit. I also want to mention that I was referred to Dr. Stanislaw by my oral surgeon. I do not typically write reviews for doctors but I had read the comments from the two prior reviewers just before my visit which after reading them made me feel much more at ease and I wanted to repay the favor to others.
