I was under the impression that Mr Tamer was a stand up attorney. We have been working with him for the last 4 years. We were illegally kicked out of our home during Covid and Mr Tamer dragged out our case and then had the nerve to ask if we wanted $0 to $30,000.00 for our case when he gave us the impression that we would be getting everything we lost which was , on the low end approximately, $8 million- $10 million. When it finally came to the defendant s defaulting we were told to write down a number for our losses, which we did. I did not see that Mr Tamer put the amount , which we are 100% entitled to in the complaint in which we were very clear with Mr Tamer to sue for the requested amount of our losses which was $8 million to $10 million dollars. I had requested the paperwork and motions from Mr Tamer every time he filed a motion and Mr Tamer would never send us anything! When I was told we will be getting anywhere from $0.00 to $30,000.00 I about fell to the floor. We made it 100 % crystal clear what we were entitled to and a list of all of our losses because the owner of our building illegally went into our home of which they were not supposed to by law touch any of our items and Mr Tamer allowed them to and did not have our best interest and he ignored the amount we had sent him 3 or 4 times and never included the list of items in any of the complaints. Mr Tamer is supposed to be representing us in our case instead it seems he may have be persuaded by the opposing party and jumped the fence to their side. Why else would he all of a sudden be telling us we were only entitled to $0.00 - $30,000.00 when we had written an itemized amount of all losses. Why would Mr Tamer ignore everything we were seeking in the lawsuit? Why would Mr Tamer ignore everything request for any and all of the motions filed against the defendants?! Why was he ignoring every request for an advance with our lawsuit against the owners ? We had several advancement loan companies that were willing to advance us in our case and all he had to do was sign the paperwork. This is not how someone should be treated when you are being represented in a winning case and an advancement company is willing to give you an advance against the lawsuit. Why was Mr Tamer ignoring these advances unless he knew he was not going to give us our money in our case. None of this adds up and therefore we fired Mr Tamer because of all aforementioned bad situations. None of it is couture. We were not treated as Mr Tamer had discussed with us. If he did not think we could recover that amount then why was he not opposed to what were asking. We made it very clear that if the amount we were asking was above what he thought was the correct amount , we asked him to advise on the situation and he did not advise of anything of which he never disagreed with us. Mr Tamer did not have our best interest as his clients when we were illegally put out into the streets during Covid 19 pandemic moratorium! This was illegal for anyone to be evicted during the moratorium period and he allowed this to happen as well as he allowed things we had since child hood to be stolen and sold during this time and not to mention we were physically living on the street. This is unacceptable and I would not recommend Mr Tamer as a reliable attorney after the way we had been treated. We lost our entire life because of Mt Tamer not rep representing us how we should have been represented! We are beyond livid. read more

Not only did he not come personally for ANY of my cases without telling me prior, but he also lied about a case and funds owed. He also thought my case was dismissed but in fact there was a brief due... WHICH HE DID NOT DO OR HANDLE but got paid in-advance for of course! He basically just took my money for nothing! Mr. Steven Tamer promises to evict my tenant for (lease violation and non-payment) in the 45 days to 5 months, Starting 12-10-2021 He had me pay him twice, $945 and $1,570. I had to stop him on 05-10-2022 for no result, no court case files after more than a 6 months. Unreasonably delaying and many mistakes in court filings court had to return the paperwork's several times. While other attorneys claimed "No Hope since the tenant signed the declaration" he believed in our cause. I initially consulted with Steven just to get some advice and how to proceed with my case. He spent close to an hour on the initial phone call, at which point I decided I was going to retain him, back in early April. He has been in continuous contact with me and has kept me updated on my case. Steven has answered my calls and when I've left messages, I have received a return call in a timely fashion. At one point in my case I was calling him quite frequently and he always was receptive to making sure I was informed of exactly what i had questions about and how he was proceeding . There have been times I made several calls in a day, yet he never seemed annoyed or like I'm bothering him, even when I've called at night or on the weekends. This guy is a joke. He was very responsive pick up calls and answered emails before he got my money. From the first day he got all his money he never answered my calls, texts, or emails. I was very concerned about my case. I received a call from him asking for more money and when I told him that he quoted me flat rate fee and I paid it all then he said that he got confused between me and a different customer. That's where I started to realize that he is not really on top of his game like he presented himself before. I took advantage of finally getting this guy on the phone and asked him what's next about my case and when I should meet with him and go over the exhibits. mr. Tamer said he doesn't meet with his clients and there is no need for that at this point since we have long way to go and he will contact me when he will have any news. 3 weeks later at 8pm he calls and tells me Dont forget to be at court tomorrow at 8am!!!!. He wanted me to go to print it and bring it with me to court, And sounded very rude when I said I wont be able to do it he said fine email them to me and I'll deliver them to court. Of course he send the wrong items with a very old attorney with hearing problems on he's behalf that knows nothing about the case to represent me. He keep asking me to speak louder in the court hallway that he dosen't hear me..lol but the plaintiff and his attorney sit across the hall from us. I ended up going to the plaintiff myself and negotiated the case since I knew that I have no chances with this kind of representation by my side. After we saw the judge the attorney told me that Steven will send the judgment and all the information to me of course that I haven't heard from him since that day. We found Steven online one night when we were desperately looking for representation for a UD filed against our llc while trying to open our business. We read some negative reviews, but we were honestly in need, and decided to ignore them. Glad we did! Steven was available many times the first night we reached him till way after regular hours...just like everyone, there were times it took some time for a response, but there always was one.
