She's honest when it is needed (I had gained some weight (5-10lbs) and she suggested that I go back to my previous weight from the year before, for health reasons). I very much recommend Dr. Lin if you are in search of a personal and caring doctor. I am a young professional (late 20's), so I do not know how she treats kids or older adults, especially if you have more health problems than I do.

The funny thing is, she turned away my daughter who was new to the area because she *suspected* that she wanted pain management. (My daughter has a ruptured disc in her lower back and did need a referral to a surgeon, but she was really just looking for a GP to take care of the day-to-day stuff. You know. The occasional sinus infection. Keeping an eye on cholesterol, dietary advice, running tests for any weird stuff that pops up. Normal GP things.) If that weren't the case, there'd be no other doctor for me. Breaks my heart that I can't have a great GP for hormonal issues because I also broke my back as a child. My broken back is fixed. I have a doctor who treats my pain, so that's not an issue that the GP has to deal with. Hardly seems fair.

Rose at the front desk is a sweet person & it's nice to see a smiling face when you first walk in. They connect you to nurses that are very knowledgeable! Love the phlebotomist they use at the local brick and mortar that I go to. She's great person that gives me my yearly infusion for osteoporosis. I feel when you're getting tests that are important and that can really be complex and not know what you're reading that you should be connected to your nurse practitioner directly or they should send you a small email and explain the comparison of charts from when your last test was on your osteoporosis compared to what your test is now to see if you're improving. They did not do that at all in my local office on Grant road

It irks me to no end that our society has become so used to getting what we want right then, be it medical care, restaurant service, or whatever. Dr. Gray is a specialist; he deserves more respect then he receives. I have been going there since 2010, and I have personally witnessed his being called from his office to the hospital to care for urgent patients. I find him thorough and professional and willing to sit down and discuss your medical issues. He has helped me with medical problems that neither the VA nor American doctors would address, one being long term constipation, which both mentioned previously slough off as being inconsequential. At any rate, Dr. Diaz is a good doctor who does a good job, something to be admired in this day and age.

She gave me Azithromiacin and took a chest xray. She told me he would see the results and contact me. The next day I saw the xray came back PNEUMONIA, BOTH LOWER LOBES. I assumed Dr Martinez would call me because I wasn't doing any better. I left a message, and I couldn't get a response from him.But a young, under qualified "assistant " i told me to let them know in three days if I didn't feel any better. Lucky for me, I knew something was terribly wrong, and then so we went immediately to the ER. The PNEUMONIA had set off SEVERE AFIB. My heart rate was 180 bpm for FIVE DAYS! EIGHT PEOPLE we're waiting on me in the ar trying to and they were working out those deep make sure I didn't die. Not ONE WORD from a Martinez!! I ended up with TWO CARDIOVERSIONS & have to wear a cardiovest for THREE MONTHS! I'm taking MANY DRUGS to let's try and keep my heart at a proper rhythm. I NOW HAVE HEART DAMAGE! Overall, I think Dr Martinez has gotten arrogant. He and his wife are involved in real estate investments. Maybe he should just skip being a doctor before someone not as lucky as me, DIES!
