Heavenly! I also got the opportunity to meet Angie Lee, the founder of Moona Moono! I told her how much I LOVED her shop and how much Minneapolis needed a shop like this. Angie appreciated my feedback and she told me the backstory to the name of the store! The name "Moona Moono" is a rough translation of two Korean words meaning "culture octopus," representing the various "tentacles" or facets of the Asian American experience. How COOL is that? They have nice comfortable seats for non knitters which is a big plus for me. The owner helped my wife solve a challenging knitting problem. There seemed to be a large selection of yarns which were well organized and displayed. There is on street parking. I am sure we'll be back.
