I promptly received a phone call from Donna explaining their process, pricing, and what to expect. Donna answered all of my questions and we dropped off the tapes the next day. It took about 10 days for them to process all of our tapes, and I was super happy with the results. They put the video files on a thumb drive and gave us repeated warnings that they do not save customer data and that we should back up the thumb drive ASAP. I did these things and then went to work watching my movies. I'm so thankful that this service exists. These tapes and the memories on them mean so much to me. Several people on the tapes have since passed on and it was such a wonderful blessing to see them alive and well again and most of all, hear their voices again. You can't put a price on that kind of experience.

The first time I contacted Feldman's Photography it was for a unique situation. My grandmother was put into a nursing home and things weren't looking good for her. I was trying to think of ways to cheer her up and remembered a picture of her as a young woman she had given me. Because of its advanced age the color black in the photo had become incredibly shiny (a process called "silvering" he explained to me). In my one on one consultation with Mr. Feldman I told him I wanted the photo restored, but if he couldn't do it rapidly (for obvious reasons) it wouldn't work. He undertook the job and not only did he get it to me quickly, but it ended up looking better than I ever could have hoped. It brought such a smile to my grandmother's face and we had the photo on display by her casket at her funeral. Years later I brought in a damaged photo of my grandfather and once again Mr. Feldman did a great job restoring it. I'll always be grateful to Mr. Feldman for rushing that job for me. When I find more treasured old photos I know who I'm bringing them to.

He responded "I thought you weren't in a hurry." And 3 times said $2.50 a picture, $15 flash and tax. Three times I asked for a total, three times he recited the same formula, finally telling me to count the negatives myself while we stood in the sun. I asked why didn't he have an office, he gave on Nebraska Ave, then said he worked out of his home, and "didn't invite strangers into his home." I said I didn't like meeting strangers in parking lots, took back my cc information and pictures and left.

All my photos were scanned correctly, put in folders, labeled, and in some cases professionally corrected! I also received discs, as well as a San drive - so two versions for safe keeping.
