He then had his men surprise deliver it to me ( he said they were going to do something different, not delivering). When I wanted to send it back, so that we can look at the entire slab, to see whether I like how he cut it, he became extremely vindictive and told me he would tell his men to " leave the stone on my front step" and " not return." This meant he would keep my money and the other half of the slab. And quit and leave me stuck. He also never comes to your house to supervise or contribute to the work, he leaves everything to the workmen. He also doesn't communicate, not when the slab arrives at his store, so you are deprived from your preferences on which parts you like best. He also fails to tell you when there are long travel delays. There is no way around this incompetence and callous disrespect..

Never the less, if I was aware of this with an obvious sign or a comment from the cashier before purchasing, then I wouldn't of purchased extra material. The sad part is when I asked if they take returns, they said "no, its on the receipt." BUT this is literally after making the purchase Im aware of this. As we are a distance east of there, was not sure they'd make the trip. But they sent their salesman right out! Our driveway grade was a problem: there was hardly any elevation change from our garage to the street, and different angles were involved. After careful elevation measurement, they recommended installation of a drywell. We decided against that because of cost. They assured us they'd take every step to make it the best it could be, but could not guarantee that some puddling might occur. We decided to hope for the best. The crew came out earlier than expected, and got right to work. Paving machine was used and during the job foremen were shooting levels to ensure the drive would drain to the street. Well, after light, moderate, and torrential rains, our driveway looks great and drains perfectly! Could not be happier with the thorough work that was done, and would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

It was relocated from Blue Point and restored by Fontana Concrete, and is a roadside attraction famous for its promises of fortune and wealth: Local folklore has it that the Sphinx's nose was shot off in the thirties by a poverty-stricken vandal in defiance of it's prophecies, geared toward horny, money-hungry women.
