Trish answered the phone right away and went out of her way to help make their stay one to remember. The breakfast served each day was out of this world - Trish loves to cook and it shows. She even invited the extended family members to join them for breakfast one morning simply because she wanted to make a recipe that serves a bigger group. It was very clean. Our room had two sinks (one in the bathroom and one out) which was great for us and so much quicker getting ready in the AM. Our bed was very comfy. The feather pillows were just about flat and need to be replaced. We slept with our balcony door open (there was a screen) and another small window open. It was wonderful. The shower is in the jacuzzi bath so you have a pretty high side to step over. The shower was hot and had good pressure. My BF said he ran out of hot water. ‍. We scheduled breakfast for 9a and came down about 8:50 and sat and watched the hummingbirds at the 3 feeders, (they also have a koi pond), while Issac finished preparing our breakfast. It was delicious and had home chutney for our English muffins. I would stay here again and recommend you do too.

And then you have the kitchen area and outside patio. We had great views of the train and mountains facing the back/parking lot and we had views of the river as well. The house is maybe a 10 min walk from popular eateries. It's right next to the doubletree that has a riverfront restaurant FINN, which I recommend going for haply hour. It's also near the library which is brand new and has amazing facilities. We even reserved a meeting room on the too floor! There aren't any cons, except for lots of stairs and creaky floors. We didn't hear our neighbors at all. There was a shania twain concert when we were there, held at the Washington-Grizzly Stadium. We could hear it pretty well from our room! The room was thoughtfully prepared. We were provided toiletries, extra blankets, cooking utensils, etc.
