Trish answered the phone right away and went out of her way to help make their stay one to remember. The breakfast served each day was out of this world - Trish loves to cook and it shows. She even invited the extended family members to join them for breakfast one morning simply because she wanted to make a recipe that serves a bigger group. We flew into Missoula and spent one night at a downtown hotel before making our way to the ranch. From the moment the RC driver met us in the hotel lobby to the time we were dropped off at the airport we were impressed. The experiences at RC was totally awesome. Each time we would head out with our private guide we embarked on an unforgettable journey. We started off as a family doing the UTV tour of the ranch. Absolutely beautiful and serene time! One of my favorite experiences was the respite by the creeks edge. The staff had made a fire for us, placed some hammocks out, some games and books on our picnic bench. This was of course accompanied by a great bottle of wine and a charcuterie board! Our kids did some fly fishing while mom and I relaxed that afternoon. All of the facilities are top-notch and there is a ton of detail at every turn on this property. Some of our favorite shooting experiences were the rifle range and revolver shooting course with our guides Karson & Robert. The food at RC is an experience in itself and as good as you can imagine. We were lucky enough to meet the new chef Zach and he is truly passionate about his work! His first meal at the ranch was nothing short of amazing. Each dish was absolutely incredible & ultra tasty! The entire staff was so kind and attentive to us which we truly appreciated. Many thanks to Candace to making sure everything was perfect for us! Emily our breakfast server was so kind and thoughtful in the way she greeted & served us each morning! Brett was our dinner server most nights and he was always a joy to be around. He was also quite fast on the 5k Thanksgiving day but not quite as fast as Reed! Overall we had a some incredible expierences and plan to return to RC in the near future!

The parking area is not near the doors, so taking luggage to/from my vehicle would have been very problematic for me as I am disabled. However, I asked if I could drive over the grass just to load/unload near the door and was, hesitantly, given the go ahead. This review would have been *very* different if I had not been given permission to do so. There is no ramp to get to the doors, steps only. The fact that this establishment is not disability-accessible is why I give 4 instead of 5 stars.

Surrounded by the beautiful forest, Rock Creek motel is the place to be. Clean and comfortable rooms and the staff was sooo kind and helpful! The mercantile is a cute country store with a huge fly selection, which my husband loved...and even had Duke the dog there to greet you! We ate breakfast at the restaurant next door...it was very tasty and also reasonably priced. Although they were closed for dinner on Monday and Tuesday, our neighbor said they had great food for dinner as well. Poor Henrys a few miles down the road also had great food. The lodge is a family affair and the owners were really nice. The view from the lodge overlooks the valley, which is beautiful country. Searching for places last-second is never fun, and even worse when it's on the weekend and there are a ton of events nearby. Luckily, we got the last rooms here - and at a reasonable rate. The hosts were wonderful and very accommodating. The hot tub overlooked the valley and the sunset was amazing as it lit up the hills. The beds were super comfy and the rooms very clean and cozy. In the morning we saw turkey and deer. My only regret was not being able to throw a line into the little pond out back. The B&B part is a bit misleading, as they do not serve food. But there is a fridge in every room, and plenty of restaurants in nearby Darby. I consider it very lucky that we were able to stay in this place and would actually seek it out again.

The room itself was comfortable, as was bed. View was meh. Closet was big enough as was bathroom. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and had good offerings. The fruit was ripe and satisfying. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
