This place was so lovely. Brady is a wonderful chef and host and makes sure his guests know he is available for whatever they may need. The house is up in the mountains near Missoula, so you basically feel like you're in a treehouse. During breakfast we saw woodpeckers, cardinals, and so many squirrels munching on seeds right outside of the living room. Two of the rooms have jacuzzi tubs, so that was pretty awesome. Although I will say, it ran out of hot water half way through, so the only improvement I would suggest would be to fix that somehow. A wonderfully cozy, romantic, sweet place tucked in the Lolo mountains and national forest. Just simply lovely. I would highly recommend.

    Beautiful views and gourmet breakfast!

We came here in July, and cannot say enough great things about this place. Beautiful views across a valley, individually and well decorated themed rooms, warm inviting host, and the breakfast! Rolled baked omelettes, almond flour pancakes, sliced fruit accented with an edible flower, fresh orange juice in a wine glass, all while sitting outside watching the hummingbirds and squirrels feeding nearby. Lots of room to roam and feel like you're staying at a friend's beautiful house rather than an impersonal hotel. I bet this place is magical in the winter time as well!

When my husband booked a B&B for an early birthday celebration, I'll admit I was a little hesitant. A) I've never stayed at one and B) I typically like to stay downtown where the actions is. But, lo and behold, those feelings changed once we pulled up to the driveway. Not only was it adorable and charming, but we also had the cutest host greet us, a tiny Pomeranian called Charlie. Anyways, breakfast was AMAZING. 5 stars for sure! Better than any place we would had to drive into town for. And as for where we stayed, we picked the "Montana Room" in the cabin next to the main house. The other options were the "Oriental" and "Victorian". Upstairs was the Rec room which was awesome, with plenty of board games, DVDs, a projector, fridge, pool table, and just about anything you could think of. All in all, it was a great time and so hard to leave. Brady was so wonderful and helpful in suggesting where to go and where to hike. If you've never stayed at a B&B like me, this is the place to do it and perfect city to do it in. Don't think twice about it. You won't regret it ;)

    Scenery from the bedroom, beautiful!

This bed and breakfast is paradise. My boyfriend spontaneously booked a room for 2 nights. When we checked in, we were greeted by numerous hummingbird feeders with accompanying humming birds. It was such a beautiful sight. Brady check us in and showed us our room. He was extremely welcoming and informative about our stay. The room had everything you need to make you feel at home. The bathroom has a spa tub and there are even bath salts. The bedroom gives the authentic feeling of being out in Montana and the view was amazing. I felt like a million bucks waking up to the beautiful mountains and fresh air. The bed and breakfast has more than 200 acres of state forest behind it. Brady made us an fantastic breakfast with fluffy eggs, German pancakes with huckleberries and pineapple sausage. It felt like a home away from home. I felt refreshed and uplifted by the time we left. I would highly recommend Blue Mountain Bed and Breakfast for a relaxing get-a-away.

Blue Mountain Inn is a really cool, quaint B&B, tucked into the wooded hills of Missoula. This is very much a home with the family, and they make you feel like you are visiting them as a welcomed guest. Some really cool features: Brady is an exceptional chef. He also knows a tremendous amount about nutrition, and it is not reluctant to share is knowledge. In the living room/eating area, there is a very special player piano, very old, but in amazing condition. I love little touches like that. So, this is a very small in with the very homey feel. I highly recommended for anyone who really enjoys the feeling of being at home with friends in a small house tucked into hillside forested area.

Last breakfast ): asparagus gratin, raspberry scone, and maple glazed bacon. All from scratch!

This is by far the best b&b I have been to. The location is right up a winding road off the main highway and offers spectacular views of the Montana landscape and Rockies. Our host, Brady, made our stay as welcoming and comfortable as possible. Each morning he serves an amazing breakfast in the main house which you won't believe was made by a mere food enthusiast. He was also very helpful in suggesting possible hikes and day trips in the area. The rooms are clean and wonderfully decorated with Montana artifacts. If you want to stay in for a day, binge watch on Netflix or movies from the staggering collection in the rec room. My only regret is that we did not visit later to experience Montana's beautiful summer. Overall, this was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend staying here.

I am a curious why not one of you complaining own up to the fact that YOU did not read the Terms…read moreand Conditions that this company provides? I read them, after my travel agent booked me with them and knew exactly what I would be getting myself into-a company that could book all four parks that I planned on going to. Am I the only person that realizes that travel agencies charge a fee?? I actually found out about National Park Reservations by booking with a different travel agent, whom clearly had no clue what she was doing. She was charging me 20% to plan my vacation (hassle free-they do all the leg work for you) and then come to find out with the first place she booked, she had used National Park Reservations. I noticed the extra charge and called. I spoke to Mercy and she explained the fee perfectly as well as walked me through their site to "show" me how many times it actually states that they charge a fee, they are not affiliated with the National Park Service, they are not a park concessionaire, I was actually stunned that my travel agent did not see any of the terms-especially when she had to enter my credit card to book the reservation and agreed to the fee. She had me 2 deep in fees. That is a whole other story! THEN I started my own research! Do you people even know how many park concessionaires there are? Or for that matter, even what they are? I had no clue. Do you know how far in advance all of the parks book? And if there are no rooms in the park-do you know where and what to look for close to the park? I spent 45 minutes on the phone with Mercy and I was amazed at the wealth of knowledge she had about every park (EVERY ONE) I was going to. I am doing 4 parks in 2018: Olympic, Glacier, Yellowstone and Grand Teton-she knew every lodge in all of the parks, knew who managed them (to add confusion to the mix, some parks have multiple companies that manage the different lodges) She also told me I could book with the park concessionaire and avoid the fee but, here is the thing people-all the parks that I am going to, with the exception of Yellowstone, have more than one company that manages them. If you call one of them and they do not have available rooms, they can not see what the other management companies have nor do they know anything about the park. I called Aramark, they are the management company for some of the Olympic locations and they never even told me there was a lodge right on the coast because they did not manage that one. When I asked about it, the person I was talking to had no idea that it was even there. After weeks of going back and forth with my original travel agent, she had just one place booked. After 45 minutes with Mercy, I now have all my reservations booked, I know driving distance between parks and between lodges, I know the best routes to take, I have been given information on trails and what to see in the parks, I have information on who takes dining reservations, how far in advance they take dining reservations and numbers to call to book the dining, I have been given advice on what kind of activities to do in the parks and know who I have to contact to book the activities. AND I have a direct extension to Mercy if I have any questions or need to move stuff around. You get what you pay for and I will gladly call and make my 2019 reservations with Mercy as well. Do you know how much time it would have taken to figure out all of that by yourself? All of you whiners out there complaining about the fee, the name, the site-c'mon folks-you are just upset with yourself for not reading or listening-before Mercy even got on the phone with me, I knew about the fee by the automated system and that they were not the direct concessionaire. The name? Perfect, they book for all parks. The site? Easy to use and as long as you do your due diligence by reading what you are agreeing to, you will have no surprises (WHO doesn't read terms before entering a credit card?? You can all raise your hands) No one wants to take ownership for their own actions, it is easier to get on some site and trash a company than to admit you were the one that dropped the ball. I dropped the ball at first and then I researched so therefore, I am taking the time to write a good review because I had good service, too many people never write a review unless it is negative.

The National Parks should NOT allow this company to do bookings for them! This happens a lot with hotel reservation agencies and I always look for them but I had no idea the National Parks would allow a 3rd party to do this and so I was caught off guard. Never again!

I'm giving the Wilma Condo 5 stars because, taken on its own merits, it's a great space and very…read morewell presented. I seriously felt more like I was housesitting for a friend - all the comforts were there. It didn't feel stingy or sterile or manufactured like so many 'commercial' lodgings frequently do, and the ones that don't cost more than twice what the Wilma Condo charges. Everything was modern and nice, but with an eye everywhere to practicality and treading lightly on the environment, which are big pluses with me. A lot of things that didn't need to be provided were: quality soap and shampoo in the shower, nice cotton towels and bedding , and a kitchen ready for your gourmet imagination. Did I mention the fantastic views of 270 degrees of Missoula out the huge windows?! The owner was more than accommodating, especially as I'm one of those 'canary in a coal mine' fragile flowers that could drive your average proprietor crazy. An adjoining unit hosted a large dog, who barked at length several times one day, anytime it could hear someone in the hallway. The owner acted immediately when I notified him of this, getting the dog's owner to intervene - problem solved. There were also a few bumps with check-in and check-out, which he handled with grace and generosity. I am going to offer a few caveats to the uninitiated and sensitive folk out there. While you can take these as dings, they are not intended as such, and I don't consider them the owner's fault. The issue is really one of inappropriate mixed-use of the building. The street on which the Wilma is located, Higgins Avenue, is one of the busiest in Missoula, and seems to draw a lot of hollering young folk and large diesel pickups driven more like urban boomcars. Think twice if quiet is especially important to you. Also take stock of what concerts are slated for the Wilma during the time you plan to stay in the condo - bass-heavy music like hip-hop is audible through the *entire building*, even eight floors up. I was assailed by two nights in a row of this, the second night well past 11pm.

I brought the family of four to the Wilma Condo EOM June 2012 (2 adults, 12 and 9 year old…read moredaughters) and it fit our needs perfectly. The condo has a kitchen and laundry and is ideally located with plenty of activities within walking distance (great dining, entertainment and outdoor). Ross was a great host, giving us insight in the must-do's of the area. Should we find ourselves in Missoula again, we will look here first. Thanks, Ross. Jack From CA.
