By the time the water abatement crew was done, we had a completely gutted kitchen, no floor, and water damaged cabinets that they did not dispose of, consuming the entire downstairs level of our home. We contacted a number of contractors to look at our job, none of which could come close to Shawn's professionalism and willingness to work with us and be patient while we navigated the insurance process. Shawn and his two boys were able to accomplish everything we could have dreamed of and more, while staying within our budget. We will be using Ace Construction MMXI for all of our future home improvement projects. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience and we could not recommend Shawn and his company more.

Absolutely horrible company to work with! -No notes written…read moredown when discussing plans causing final product to be incorrect and missing many items discussed in initial plans discussed. -Communication is done with an employee and not the owner causing miscommunications and incorrect job details. -Very inconsistent for showing up to work on the project even considering I was flexible and considerate that we were NOT the only project they were working on. -No contract written causing dollar amounts discussed to be changed based on he said she said always wanting more and more. -The company has poor basic knowledge of carpentry and renovation work "forgetting" to insulate an exterior wall with water inlets and outlets. Not to mention not putting spacers between all shower tiles causing the grout lines to be very inconsistent as well as not wiping down the shower after completing it leaving a residue for us to clean. -When things were incorrect and pointed out became very defensive and tried to stop the completion of the job multiple times. -Finished product is very poor and causing us to fix things on our own after their "completion" with multiple things missing from the original plans discussed. -Steals products purchased for the job by the owner after finding out their agreed upon price was labor ONLY not materials after the project was started. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND AND A 5 STAR REVIEW FOR A COMPANY THAT SHOULD FOLD!

FIVE STARS…read more I hired Peter to do some extensive work on my Cabin in the Western Catskills (Near Walton NY) and from the our initial conversations it was crystal that this man was really smart, a problem solver, creative and really knowledgeable about all things contracting. He attentively listened to my vision for creating a cabin that fused simple minimalism with modern appeals and amenities. He asked many questions and then set out to execute that vision with elevation by elevation brainstorm sessions. Once I knew that we were on the same page with respect to the vision for the cabin then Peter brought in his crew to make it happen. They went through this place like a contracting tsunami, working diligently everyday to get the job done. The project began with prepping for the buildings power wash which meant removing many items from the building that the previous owner had installed like satellite dishes, decorative animals and planters. After that was done Peter did a beautiful job of power washing the exterior during a serious rainstorm. He was like a machine!!! I have never seen anything like it before. It was 58 degrees outside (chilly) and torrentially raining while he did the job which took all day but he did not stop until he was satisfied with the quality of his work. After it all, it is clear that he holds himself and the quality of his work to the highest standards possible. He also shared his ideas for various aspects and stages of the project development that made the original vision even better than originally planned. For example, we were looking to add a splash of color around that house and had settled on a red front door but with Peter's input we changed course and painted parts of the porch red instead. That pivot mades the front of the house look fantastic and modern like Louboutin Shoes!!! Peter is a mastermind and I could go on and on about how great of a job that he did on our cabin but I'll let the photos do all the talking. I would like to also say that Finish Line Contractors were extremely responsive to my calls, scheduling, and were incredibly reliable. They were also so trustworthy that we gave him access to the house even when we weren't onsite so that he could get the work done on time. In the end, I feel very fortunate to have Finish Line Contractors do my renovation. They made the final result better than the original vision. I plan to use them for another build in the spring because the initial experience was so great. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a talented, honest, hardworking visionary contractor that gets the job done right.
