I came here a few months ago after finding the spot on Yelp. I never had a problem with changing my watch battery before at Batteries Plus. For some weird reason, they told me that they couldn't change it because they didn't have the size and couldn't open the cover for it. The staff member didn't know what they were doing or Batteries Plus had an off day. I was greeted and he changed the battery within a few minutes. Fast forward a few months later, I brought in a bracelet that needed to be soldered back together. The service was a breeze and had it done within 10 minutes. Brought in 2 watches one for a battery, which he immediately put in and the other I hadn't worn in years and thought it needed to be cleaned. Matt suggested I might not have wound it up enough. Found Steve's on Yelp and I'm glad I did. He worked quickly to assess two watches I brought in. Work was finished in front of me and he didn't offer any needless repairs or upsells. One was a simple case of needing a new battery. The other was more complicated. He made sure to thoroughly check it out and give me the proper information to give the watch company (it wasn't a quick fix and something that should be covered under my warranty). I had bent and popped the pin out of my watch band, it is metal and has a thin metal plate that covers the pin which was also bent. Steve is a pleasant guy that makes you feel right at home. He inspected the watch and the damaged parts and went to work on the repair, after the repair he inspected the other pin and noticed is was slightly bent so he replaced that also and then went on to adjust the band so it fit perfectly. He exceeded my expectations and all for about half of what I expected to pay for the repair of the broken pin only. Great place and will definitely go back if I have any other watch repair issues. read more

I had a watch that I was not able to wear as it was still too large despite removing all of the adjustable links. After years of owning it but not being able to wear it, I took a chance and brought it in to Steve's. After a quick assessment, he advised that he thought he could work something out and asked that I return in an hour. I am happy to say that upon my return, I was able to wear the watch comfortably!
