I am fed up. This service is astoundingly awful. It is consistently late at this point. I have tried to not write this review, but it's been a helluva long time coming already and today was the last straw. 80% of the time I call a cab it doesn't arrive within the time window we've scheduled so that I could arrive on time for the engagement I need to go to, and I end up having to cancel since I would get there way too late. Sometimes no one picks up the damn phone, and sometimes you might have a scheduled ride, and you are just left abandoned with no text, no call and no show like I was at church a couple of months ago. Also, Steve doesn't pay his employees apparently if you pay with a card, so you'd have to use cash app or pay in cash or the cabbie doesn't get paid which is nuts. That is not how you run a business. It's no wonder he is short staffed. He is short staffed because no one wants to work for him. And pretty soon at this rate no one will want to do business with him either. Do yourself a favor, use uber or literally any other service. This service is toast. EDIT: The owner Steve texted me after I left this review, making the claim that the reason they were late was because one of the drivers was in the hospital getting open heart surgery. A. None of that was mentioned when I scheduled my ride HOURS in advance, nor during the two follow up calls. B. At 5:05 Steve's taxi texted me and said that the driver would be at my place in 15 minutes, about 5:15pm like we planned. Then 5:30 came, another text saying that the driver would be here in another 15 minutes. About 5:45pm I call again, Steve tells me the driver will be here in another 15 minutes. I was supposed to be at my engagement at 6pm, by that time a cab still hadn't arrived, I wait longer, call again and then canceled the ride. By the time I would get there it would be too late if the cab ever got to me at all. And here is the biggest consideration I want to emphasize, I would not have left a bad review had it been a one-time event. This has happened repeatedly. And instead of trying to make things better, the owner responds with denying me service. That's fine. Because I'm going to leave this review on every platform where he has a page for reviews, including the Better Business Bureau. Oh and Steve, PAY YOUR FRICKIN DRIVERS. read more

Let someone know it's going to take 3 hours before I could be picked up. I called After 2 hours was told they only had 2 drivers and were extremely busy. Had I been informed of that from the beginning I would have made alternate arrangements. I finally came to my senses and called another service. Was picked up in 15 minutes. Back home an hour before Steve's came. I did send text canceling but obviously they go unread. Thankfully i didn't need their service for an appointment. It would have been understandable had they called or sent a text to let me know. Lesson learned will never wait more than 45 minutes before seeking other options. Hope they realize customer service will make or break a business. read more

Driving was good car wasn't unprofessional phone calls are very rude. I'm assuming it's because they have no woman working in Steve's taxi at all reason I say that is because every single man I have talked to in the car or on the phone was a "pure ball of joy." I called they booked it and they never showed. I had my male friend call and they showed up. besides the driving in the cars, I think communication is very poor. read more

Was late for two appointments and completely missed one, Left me stranded twice, but I have finally learned and NEVER AGAIN. To cap it all off the lady was rude and hung up when I mentioned my lost appointment, By the way I had called plenty early to set up the pickups. No stars for thus service read more

I have had some negative experiences in the past w taxi services, so i was hesitant to call them. They have turned my outlook all the way around & i use Steves Taxi almost every single day! Theyre patient, friendly & understanding, most importantly, theyre right on time as long as you call giving them ample time to get you where you need to be!! read more

Their service is getting better. They are advertising a 15 minute pickup time from the time the order is placed.

Terrible! Called and gave info. Was told it wouldn't be long. Called them 30 minutes later and was told it was only a couple minutes away. After that Steve's Taxi stopped answering phone. Never showed up to pick me up. read more

This is the second time we've been burnt by Steve's taxi yesterday they were supposed to take my son to work they never showed up his boss had to come get them today he was they were supposed to pick me up to go to Walmart to do some shopping since my Vans in the shop they never showed up they keep saying they was on their way and they never showed up that is poor poor business practice. read more

I called Steve's taxi at 10:45 AM. I told the driver I had an appointment at 11:30 and asked if they could be here before that time. During the phone call it seemed like it was possible, but the taxi never showed up. I missed my appointment so I called to cancel the taxi and tell them nevermind, that I already missed my appointment and Steve hung up on me very rudely. Usually; I'd give a good review for the taxi service because they're normally are on time, but based on how I was treated as a paying customer; I'll be taking my business elsewhere. I don't care if it cost more with another taxi service; no customer should be treated that way. read more
