I read the Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey about 20 years ago and had a decent handle on my finances over the years. But I knew it could be better. My wife's father passed away and left her with a small inheritance. We knew that we needed some help navigating our financial options. The offices are set up like a living room, with a nice comfy couch and a TV sized monitor on the desk. I believe that this is intentional. At Stewardship, you feel like you are dropping by to see old friends. I have yet to see anyone in a business suit. Just down to earth folks, whose sole mission is to help people. About a week later we had a follow up phone call where we discussed some options and next steps. He presented options that I was unaware of, that were more beneficial in the long run, over what we were previously doing. Prior to meeting Ryan, I was confident that I was heading in the right direction. He crunched the numbers and showed us how a couple simple redirections would create a positive six-figure difference for us at retirement. Thank goodness we met him when we did!! We have enjoyed our interactions with Stewardship so much that we continued to use their services. I would recommend Brian Ream at Stewardship to anyone I know who is looking to buy a home. My wife and I just bought our first home in Phoenix, and we had almost no clue what we were doing when we started. Since I met Mark Shipley 20 years ago, he has been the only realtor I've trusted to purchase my residences and investment properties, and whom I refer family and friends. He provides invaluable guidance in all facets of the home buying and selling processes, including helping work with the lender, title co, buyer/seller agent, house repair services, and property management. Nate helped us buy our new home, and we had a great experience with him there, so naturally we turned to him to sell my former home as well. Nate made sure that we had our ducks in a row before listing, and helped us to decide what the most important things to focus on before we put the house up for sale. From the initial email/phone call/text I felt like someone was there making sure my questions were answered and explaining things every step of the way. I had them run quotes numerous times for me because I kept forgetting to include things or I wanted to see how much it would add to my cost if I went with higher coverage. As a first-time homebuyer, the process of mortgages and homebuying was completely new to me. I met with Greg Suiter, who explained everything in great detail and made me feel comfortable about moving forward with the process. Ryan was recommended to me by my daughter who used Stewardship for a house purchase. She is a single adult who was in need of dependable advice. She was totally impressed with their help. I procrastinated with getting my will and trust in place. I recently turned 74 and should have done this earlier. You just never know when your time is up. My brother is in Hospice currently and he hadn't done anything with his will and trust either. We proceeded to do mine and my brothers. Ryan was so helpful putting everything in place. My brothers Will and Trust was more urgent, and Ryan made arrangements to meet with my brother at his medical facility, in person, to get the necessary signatures along with a detailed explanation of all aspects of the Will and Trust.
