It's basically a small convenience store that sells lots of camp supplies too as it is literally opposite the entrance to Lake Vanare campground. Can't miss this place as it's right there on 9N. Great owners offering just what the area needs. Open year round and it will be doing an even brisker business once the hiking trail at Potash Mountain goes viral come spring 2018.

This message is not so much for locals, cuz we know, but to all the seasonal visitors who visit our beautiful area of the Adirondacks. If you have a need for an absolutely awesome submarine sandwich, not slopped together but a creation with excellent bread, deli cold cuts, cheeses and your added extras...GO TO JOE'S MINI MART! You're in a mini market with a satisfying big surprise. I can't stop there either. Their selection, and yes I will dare say HOMESTYLE salad selections are perfect for any picnic or afternoon or evening gathering. Try their soups on an autumn weekend ride. Everyone on staff both young and older alike are welcoming and professional. You are treated like family not a drive by stranger. It's our closest Stewart's, and that has a special place in our heart. We get gas here, we get ice cream here in the evening with a car full of kiddies, newspapers, buttered rolls, cholesterol filled breakfast sandwiches, beer, and ice cream. Did I mention ice cream? It has a real mix of clientele, from the Porsche-driving entrepreneur first thing in the morning to the tradesmen all day long in their work trucks and panel vans. On the weekends families towing speedboats gas up here, cheap SOB's like us bring their Jerry cans to be refilled, and some folks like to come for the farm stand in the corner of the parking lot. I miss the Allerdice outlet that used to be here - it was tiny, and had almost no inventory - but boy was it convenient. The personnel at the Stewart's tend to be really pleasant, even when you show up with a massive ice cream order. What's not to love?

The stock of bulk items was substantial, for example dried beans, grains, couscous, bulgur wheat, oats, granola, flour, nuts, figs, mushrooms, and more. In addition, the owners have a selection of health & beauty products (shampoo, conditioner, bath bars) and supplements. Also, a nice selection of coffee & tea, protein bars and healthy snack items. This family owned shop is definitely a place to shop at for natural and organic products. An establishment clearly designed to offer a nice, friendly shopping experience. Parking is primarily in front of the store (prior to the Right turn lane) or across the street.

We are from the largest city in NH, about an hour from Boston. Even our local Whole Paycheck isn't this expensive!! I doubt we'll shop here again. We are better off buying from a farm stand and making our own lunch.

When I'm out and about, it's not always easy to get there so early so it's a bummer when you are intent on something specific. I really like their fruit tarts too. They come individual sized, as well as a standard pie size. It's the perfect bite after a meal or whenever as it's not too sweet and it's quite good. Lastly, the shop is always nicely organized and the staff is helpful. All this makes for a regularly pleasant shopping experience.

Made the best Chimichurri tacos on the grill tonight courtesy of Fresh Markets meat counter and their amazing marinade!! So glad the gentlemen at the meat counter were so prompt and helpful while I was making my selections. I will definitely return for the meat counter. It was my husbands birthday, so I also grabbed a cake and some desserts for the fam -- the cakes are about what you would pay at Price Chopper, but in my opinion, they appear to be made with more attention to detail. If you're having a hard time finding birthday candles with numbers, they have a huge selection next to the cake counter and some Birthday cake pieces as well. The way to shop at this store is by learning the regular sale days. Tuesdays deals are: $5.00 12 inch pizza $3.99/lb Chicken Breast $5.99/lb ground beef $5.00 rotisserie chicken Fridays deals are: 2 for $5 burgers Each week they choose a different fresh deal, so you'll likely find a deal for $5.00/lb meat. This evening it was carne asada chicken breast cutlets. Other elements that I really enjoy is that their olive bar has Dolmas!! It's the only one that I know of that carries them in the area. Never realized how difficult it is to find specialty food until I moved back to Saratoga from Texas. Plus, my kiddos love going with me for the candy by the pound jars -- they really love getting to make their own selection and mix.
