This was our first trip to the area so I bought food to cook from home, and left a few meals out thinking we would eat at a nearby restaurant while checking out the area. At the time of the trip there wasn't any snow or predictions for snow where we lived in New York City, so I was surprised the day of our check in when we passed the outskirts of Albany and saw snow. Long story short, it was very cold, it snowed during our trip, and thankfully we were in a lake house with amazing views and large windows. We didn't want to go anywhere, but needed to venture to the store for more food. We found everything that we needed to sustain us for the remaining days. We don't eat meat so I don't know if they had chicken, beef etc., but we pulled what we needed from the shelves and frozen sections. Employees were super friendly. It's a small lake town, everyone waived as we passed them by which was refreshing. This was the only grocery store within the immediate vicinity.

All the major departments - produce, meat, seafood, dairy, were stocked almost to overflowing, with good regular and sale prices displayed prominently. The store is brightly lit and the aisles are wide. There are 2 self-checkouts. The employees here are really friendly and chatty. If it ever expands (and if it does well, it should be considered), add some more hot food stations and a salad bar.

I did find a few redeeming qualities in the store. In fact, I'd prefer to shop here than some of the bigger chains with whom I have to deal, such as Stop & Shop. I came here at what could have been one of the worst shopping times - the morning before Thanksgiving, 2 hours before a blizzard was to arrive. There was no chaos, the shelves were well stocked. The produce was in good shape though the floor should have been swept. The employees are small-town friendly, because this is a small town and you get to know everybody. A lot of the prices are indeed way too high. This included some (but not all) produce, poultry, dairy, and soda. Over $2 for a 2-liter bottle of Tops own brand of soda? Fortunately, there are convenience stores in Corinth now, such as Stewart's and Cumberland Farms, where you can - and should - get a lot of these types of items cheaper. But I did find a few surprisingly good deals and loss-leaders among the overpriced stuff. Clearly you can pick and choose among these items to not spend a fortune. But if you're looking for a full cart's worth of groceries, you can probably drive to other grocery stores in the area and still come out ahead in the money you'd save on the groceries versus the cost of the gas.

Made the best Chimichurri tacos on the grill tonight courtesy of Fresh Markets meat counter and their amazing marinade!! So glad the gentlemen at the meat counter were so prompt and helpful while I was making my selections. I will definitely return for the meat counter. It was my husbands birthday, so I also grabbed a cake and some desserts for the fam -- the cakes are about what you would pay at Price Chopper, but in my opinion, they appear to be made with more attention to detail. If you're having a hard time finding birthday candles with numbers, they have a huge selection next to the cake counter and some Birthday cake pieces as well. The way to shop at this store is by learning the regular sale days. never ever use walmart rt 9 automotive center!! on 7/16/2026, i went there for a simple oil change…read moreon my rav4. when i got the notification it was completed, i was advised that the oil filter housing was damaged and leaking oil!! car was perfect when i drove it there. i was advised that i would have to buy the part at napa or another parts outlet!! but i was losing oil so i couldn't go. called my husband and he bought the part at advanced auto and came to walmart. he asked to see the old oil filter housing unit and it was clearly over torque and broke. walmart auto reimbursed for the part but charged for the screwed up oil changed. husband called walmart auto the next day and talked to a nasty female manager. walmart automotive does not have many certified technicians on staff. avoid rt 9 walmart automotive at all cost or you will be needing a new motor. this automotive center is half ass run and walmart cooperation should overhaul that location
