Then a neighbor told me about the Sunoco across the street from Stewart's which is a full service station. Value: I was amazed that the gas prices are the same as Stewart's. What? Service: The young man who pumps gas is courteous and efficient. He greets you with a smile and chats if you like when he isn't swamped. He makes a good day even better and a bad day promising. I need to ask his name, so I can add it here. This Sunoco is where I buy gas now when needed.

I went in the store and inquired for the owner of the car and explained to her my situation. She agreed to move her car with much attitude so I can gain access to the back pump (standing behind the cash wrap). I waited 15 mins outside before checking for her in the store in case she'd forgotten, the staff member told me "she's a customer and I'd have to wait" as if I was a bystander not looking to pay for my gas here as well. She took another 10 mins to pump her gas and then started to clean her car getting in and out numerous times; removing bottles, tissues etc upon which I confronted her and asked her if she's done filling her gas and if she can move up? She got angry and insisted she wasn't going to move at all now 30 minutes later! She works here, at this location and I think it was highly unprofessional for the active staff at that time to encourage such rude behavior. Thankfully two men came along and helped me push my car around the other pumps to the pump in front of her car so I can purchase gas to proceed with the funeral service I was trying to arrange.

So in compliance I scooped up a gallon of "Mounds of Coconut" -- "coconut flavored ice cream with a coconut swirl and old fashioned fudge pieces" -- a flavor that debuted as a special edition a few summers ago and was so popular, customers were requesting to buy it by the giant commercial-sized tub it's made in at the Stewart's Candy Land ice cream ice cream factory. Needless to say, the fine folks at Stewart's convened and agreed to accelerate the flavor to full-time status. So, ice cream, milk, cream soda, and snacks in hand (Stewart's brand gummy worms are fire), out the door I went (after checking out with the always pleasant staff, of course). Newsflash: It's not always about us. Is your car parched and thirsty for some gasoline, or do its tires need a pep talk in the form of compressed air? Pimp your ride: Stewart's Edition. The only challenge is that because of this, he's often booked well in advance and so you need to call a few days early to see if he has availability. Then the "change oil" mileage was set at 3K, even though the recommendation at my car's age has been 5K for the longest time and it should have been in the Napa records. Speaking of which, the oil change did not make it into the on-line record for the car, which kind of defeats the purpose of sticking to the Napa system. So as much as I kinda liked them, now I feel I can't trust them, so will not be back.

Apparently the co-op was established some 80 years ago and has gone through several transformations.
