All Hess Stations nationwide were bought out by Speedway last year. Like before, there are 16 vehicle fueling positions (14 unleaded pumps and 2 diesel pumps). Similar to Hess, this Speedway convenience store is a good sized convenience store offering the basic convenience store items such as snacks, candy, cooler drinks, walk-in beer cave, smokes, cold self serve fountain drinks, coffee bar, newspapers, miscellaneous items, Lottery tickets, and bagged ice. Hot roller items (tornados), hot dogs, pizza, sandwiches, and breakfast sandwiches & items offered at this location. ATM on premises. There used to be a Blimpie and Godfather's Pizza counter here when it was Hess Express, but no more. The gas prices here are competitive with other "name brand" gas stations along the Northway in Clifton Park and Halfmoon. I occasionally stop here often to gas up my vehicle and fill up my huge plastic Speedway soda mug with ice cold Diet Pepsi from the fountain. Currently, they are offering any size fountain drink for only 69 cents plus tax (74 cents). I also use my Speedy Rewards card (free to join) to earn points and free items including free fountain drinks (buy 6 get the 7th free). The staff at this location are pleasant and always give me my receipts/Speedy Rewards point balance slips/coupons.

The line moved quickly and a staff were friendly for a busy morning. I had the summer blend hot and wife had an iced latte. The hot coffee was tasty. Low acidity, smooth and balanced. Only complaint was that it could have been just a click hotter for me. I don't necessarily want to burn my esophagus, but this was only lukewarm. The iced latte was delicious. Uncommon Grounds nails it on both counts and is a great spot to get a little work done to boot. Stopped by this location when I was in the area for some coffee and breakfast. I'm usually in search of sugar free options as well as milk alternatives. Uncommon Grounds had a couple sugar free options (yay! caramel and vanilla) and a few different milk alternatives. I got a caramel latte made with almond milk and it was dreamy. For my breakfast, I got the Mediterranean breakfast sandwich on a salt bagel. It came with egg, spinach, avocado, tomato, and a bit of pesto. Delicious! The only tiny thing for me was the tomato made the sandwich kinda slippery and difficult to eat so the next time I ordered it (which was literally the next day), I got it with double the spinach and no tomato. The service was really lovely and the prices are reasonable. They're a popular spot and were pretty busy when I was in and even with that everyone was so kind and helpful. Get to it!
