I'm just going to come out and say it - this antique store is lame. I was SO disappointed after wasting my time walking through the entire store, every nook & cranny, first floor and basement. This former bank building is full of modern crap and - maybe - some things I might consider "vintage". It's little more than a big garage sale...a garage sale where I wouldn't buy anything! I managed to find only a handful of items that I'd consider antiques. For example, how many 1990s glass tumblers do I need to look at? And why would I want to spend money on a dance trophy from 1999? To make things worse, the two staff members at the front desk were busy looking at videos on their laptops. They said nothing, never looked up, and were completely devoid of any customer service skills whatsoever. Don't bother opening the door. A well established antique shop in downtown Stillwater provides a setting to while away an hour or so on a Saturday. I was last here about five years ago and found a set of glassware I probably paid too much for but it still shines out in my scattered collection of glass pieces. This visit I didn't see any special or unique glass but then I breezed through quickly. There are separate themed rooms to narrow down your search. "Oriental"? Well a little less PC than some like but a vast collection from Asian and other Occidental lands. There are many twists and turns and a second floor and a few stairways to portions of a third floor. There are record albums your grand and great grand parents would appreciate if they had a device to play them on. I found the celebrity magazines of radio and movie stars of the 30's and 40's fascinating with the real inside story about Fibber McGee and Molly. Their celebrity life was even before my time but they had about the funniest radio sitcom which still can be heard on old time radio shows and websites. You have to wait for Fibber to open his closet door..my how we digress. One note about this store. They have posted a sign showing a decrease in operating hours. This is one of the better antique shops in town - furniture, sports memorabilia, Americana, brew signs, home goods, political memorabilia and more. Focused selection of items (with the exception of the art collection). It's well-organized and easy to get around - it's not cluttered like many of the antique shops I've been in. This antique store is okay... There isn't as many items for sale unlike the antique store up the street. Most of the items are on the first floor. The basement floor has furniture and art. It is very hard to find any good deals. Staff do not seem very positive. I recommend you take a picture of the lock number and info when you ask staff to open up a display case to check out an item locked up. I recommend you check out the other antique store on Main Street first and check out this store if you didn't find what you're looking for at the other store. read more

This antique store was severely underwhelming. It was more like a rummage sale or a junk store rather an antique store. inside was ugly and stuffy, with some questionable items for sale. A nazi flag was for sale under the title of a "ww11 german pole flag" absolutely disgusted that they were ok with selling that, incredibly insensitive. Also i saw multiple racist figurines including coon caricatures for sale. it is just unbelievable that they would ever think it was ok to put these things on their shelves just to make a profit. please save your time and keep walking the next time you're browsing main street. read more

Great antique shop - I'm not even sure I saw it all there were so many rooms. I almost missed the entire second floor. Good prices and a range of offerings. Lots of cute accessories and clothing. Take a walk along the river while you're there! read more

This emporium is a magic time machine. Everything you remember as a kid at grandma's house is there. Wonderful collectables and what I loved most are the separate booths within the antique store. You're sure to find that little something that brings a smile to your face when you see it. I know I did. read more

I thought this place was pretty cool. It was a nice mix of really expensive rarities and cheap crap. There are many vendors who rent little rooms here, so you can see lots of different collections. My favorite was the case with WWII stuff including a 48 star American flag, a nazi knife, Japanese bayonet and infantry helmets. When I pointed the flag out to my wife, an old man said "those flags were perfect, too bad Hawaii and Alaska had to come along and muck things up". read more

Lots of little nicknacks and glass. Prices were higher end of retail - we did not find any bargains not any rare antiques.

My boyfriend and I decided to go browsing around the different antique stores and this one is also a great location to play "where's Jesus" although, I can't help but clutch onto my purse in fear that I'll knock everything to the ground. That aside, we had a great time looking around. read more
