Never saw a doctor or ar PA but was seen by a Nurse Practioner, who must not looked at my history. She perscribed generic Bactrim DS (SULFAMETHOXAZOLE-TMP DS) which is contraindicated for CKD III. This caused my Creatinine level too shoot to a very high level. When asked to talk to the Supervising physician, I was told he does not return phone calls. Wonder why??? This clinic needs to do a better job of teaching thier NP's.

ER Visit on 09- 29- 2025 I had to take my 93 year old mother…read morethere after she choked on something at the adult daycare center and had to have the Heimlich maneuver performed on her. We took her immediately to the hospital. We arrived at around 2:30 pm. She was triaged fairly quickly and told that beds were full and that they would get to us as soon as possible. During our time there one person passed out, they were taken back fairly fast, as I guess they didn't want to keep cleaning up her puke from the floor again. The second person was losing consciousness and about to pass out and throwing up in the bag, but when her friend just tried to ask how long they would be was told just to sit down and they'll be with them shortly. This all escalated as another guest basically told the guy to sit down shut up and wait his turn then another guest defended this lady after the guy told her to politely mind her own business. Which caused the security guard to come out.  All the while it's 1 hour, then 2 hours , then 3 hours while my mom is still unseen sitting in that waiting room.  Getting cold and finally telling me she wanted to leave. I gave up and told the receptionist that we wanted to leave but she tried to say she would get us back soon but a nurse in maroon scrubs said no don't guarantee her that cause if someone else is sicker then her they will go in first before her. So I signed waiver an left. Shame on you SMC. You need to do better,  you basically were saying that a 93 year old woman who earlier was choking was not a concern of any kind. Is it gonna take someone passing on the waiting room floor for someone to wake up. Plus with the pandamonium and drama with the guests and patients there. It was a horrible experience.  .

I was seen after whiplash from being rear-ended by a texting teenager while I was stopped. Very impressed. Went from daily headaches to nothing in a relatively short time. Nice staff, never had to wait. Responsive and timely when I had questions. Sent my daughter here for a rib that was out of place after an old injury and they accepted our insurance. Would recommend them to anyone wanting to avoid pain pills for injuries that could be corrected with physical treatment.

Pros: takes walk ins, offers fast, friendly service…read more Cons: scraped my arm with the needle; maybe the most painful phlebotomy experience ever (and I've had many; eight pregnancies plus assorted medical tests for decades). The initial poke was barely noticeable, but then I felt an unexpected searing pain, like maybe he was digging around for my vein. (I wasn't looking, but have experienced this before because, according to others, my veins are small, hard to find, and sometimes collapse before yielding enough blood.) The phlebotomist offered to try my other arm when I jumped and cried out in pain, but I declined since he was almost done. Back in my car I took a second look at my arm and realized why it still hurt so badly: he had scraped across my skin with his needle--felt like a paper cut, only worse. It's been 3+ hours and it's still very tender to the touch. To be fair, I didn't watch it happen, so it's possible the scraping happened when I jumped. But the searing pain is what made me jump, so I don't know. Either way, it was a very painful experience. If you have small veins, you might want to see if you can arrange to have your blood drawn at your doctor'instead. I've been to this location several times over the years, and it's always a different phlebotomist. This was the first notably bad experience I've had here. PS The office was FREEZING.

I was having a severe drug reaction and total loss of muscle. We didn't have to wait long and the staff and were very caring and concerned. The employees giving the test and all of the nurses were great! It is the best hospital in this part of the state and all of northern OK. We would not hesitate to use this hospital again.
