Fell for a supposed 50% off lens sale. Polycarbonate lenses listed on the receipt as retailing at…read more$505, but were on sale for $252!, which is a normal retail price at many stores. Progressive lenses were alright for distance but I couldn't read with them. After 1 week l bumped the right lens and got a nasty abrasion on them. I've worn glasses for 50 years and have never seen a lens damaged so easily. Took them back and was told that I would have to buy an insurance plan plus pay some more on top. 3 staff members were all pretty indifferent to my dissatisfaction. Went to Sam's Club instead and got a superior grade of lenses for $198. Two thumbs down on Wausau LensCrafters.

I was given the opportunity to get another pair of glasses, which also didn't work due to the thickness of the lenses. I went in there needing my perscription renewed for contacts. He gave me the same perscription but…read morewanted me to come back and do another appointment because it was supposedly illegal for me to drive without some high priced specialized glasses that of course would have to buy from him. Only problem is I have to get a physical done every 3 months from the Department of Transportation which includes an eye exam. So I know that if it was illegal in any way for me to drive with my current perscription I wouldn't have a job right now. Won't go back feel sorry for anyone who falls for his BS.
