Two were Justin's artwork, designed after consulting with us: a griffin launching off a rock in the ocean (took 3 hours to tattoo), and a set of specific flowers (magnolia, sunflower, borage, and chamomile) growing from a port scar (1 hour). One was created from custom artwork of our own (30 minutes, and it came out completely true to the original drawing). I won't lie, there are varying levels of pain involved, but Justin put us at ease and helped us get through it. And it's totally worth it. Our 17yo kid found devotion, having searched extensively for a shop with talented artists and impeccable safety/hygiene practices. We walked in without appointments, and left completely thrilled with Justin's work.

Recently, I had a piece that didn't turn out so well after healing, not to mention the fact that my first experience with an artist from a shop that was NOT Black Cat could only be described as unprofessional (Bad attitude, bad work ethic, and ultimately, a bad tattoo). This shop was in WA, where I live now. I decided to go see Sean, when I was in town for Christmas. Sean completely revived this piece and breathed new life into it. The shop has awesome 90s era collectables all over and movies playing throughout the day. It was a nice change from the rap or classic rock that is always played at tattoo shops. The artists were all very supportive of each other's work. I heard many compliments between all the artists during the several hours I was there. Nice to be in an uplifting environment, especially when you are there a good chunk of the day. Sebastian was friendly, honest and took his time. I've had newish tattoo artists not be honest about their experience and the tattoo turns out less than ideal. But Sebastian did a great job and told me he stands by his work so if I need anything touched up to just hit him up and he will take care of it. I will definitely be going back to get more tattoos from Sebastian, and Mike (the owner).
