If you guess wrong you will just have to hope that that person will refer your name to someone there that can help. My suggestion is that they hire someone to organize them before they attempt to help anyone else.

Mill Valley, Ca. What a great place to see and hear music!…read moreYou are at the top of a mountain and the San Francisco skyline is poking up through the fog far below, a stunning view. I came specifically for Sierra Ferrell, but enjoyed the other acts as well. All the seats are good seats but only a few are in the shade. The entire bank of shaded seats to the right of the stage are all reserved. We were early enough to get front row seats which are elevated above the SRO pit below. The pit is a great place to see the acts from only a few feet away and do some dancing if you are so inclined. We also spread out a blanket under the trees above the seats and visibility was very good, and this location is a relaxing respite from the hot sun. You can avoid the parking issue by taking the shuttle up the hill from a remote parking lot. We opted to park on the highway and hike up the Bootjack trail. It is about a mile and it certainly is an uphill trek but it only took us about a half hour. There is a parking lot at the trailhead for Bootjack if you don't want to park on the highway. There is a modest fee for parking there. The hike down was easy, of course. They actually offer some pretty good food choices here. We pretty much patronized the mango and watermelon Mexican booth. Their enchiladas were tasty and reasonably priced. The melon was very good except the pieces cut too close to the rind. The mango was fresh, firm, and sweet. The sound system was excellent. The MC's were local DJ's who were obnoxious. Free filtered water was made available. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful, especially the security who allowed us backstage in order to reach our trailhead. There was a super friendly vibe from just about everyone attending which made for a memorable concert experience.

This is the site of what used to be the Crookedest Railroad in the world, with something like 237 turns. The tracks were ripped out decades ago, after the rides declined in popularity. The gravity cars seem like they were such a fun, wholesome, unique attraction. It's hard to believe there's not enough demand for them to be running anymore. I wouldn't go out of my way to see this, but it could be a fun place to visit with little kids, especially if you come on the weekend between 12-4, when it's open. For those of us children who are a little too old for this, there are plenty of cool hiking trails originating from the same parking lot at the visitor center. Parking is $5 unless you have a pass from camping.

Movie stars and other famous people came to this location to ride the famous gravity car, and stay at some of the famous hotels around this area. Mount Tam has some of the most well-known, fun trails in the entire San Francisco Bay Area. Did you know that Marin County is the birthplace of mountain biking? That's absolutely true. Some of the most famous mountain bikers and race winners live right here. I highly recommend biking or hiking the old gravity car road. Don't miss the West Point Inn, another famous stopping point for travelers. It's fun to imagine what it must have been like going down on one of those gravity cars. They have a gravity car that you can visit here, but don't try taking it down the mountain, since the tracks are all gone now. It would be a wild ride. I always wonder what would happen if the brake man fell asleep or went unconscious for some reason. Would the gravity car just keep on going?

Why am I mentioning all these rude and sad things? Because I associate them with that wedding and this place, even though nothing bad from that wedding should be associated with this place. I mean, it's not Trocadero Clubhouse's fault that the particularly tall fellow was an imbecile or that the then happy couple was mismatched from the start and destined for unhappiness with each other or that drug addiction is often tragic and deadly. Here's what to know: This is a lovely setting for a wedding. You can't get much better than the smell of redwood trees at your wedding reception.

This is an update on my previous review after getting married here in November…read more Despite some of the cons(see previous review), it is completely worth it. Absolutely beautiful, staff onsite was friendly and willing to pitch in if needed even though that isn't included. There are extra tables onsite(some good size rectangular ones). Both the upstairs rooms have some chairs and there is a bathroom upstairs in the larger room(perfect for a getting ready room!). There is even a clothing rack in that room! The water damage is still very obvious from the redwood Grove where a lot of people will have their ceremonies. The hillside going up toward sloat is still barren and does not look good a a back drop. I would recommend having your ceremony in the east meadow(included with rental), it's so pretty and very spacious and more private. A lot of traffic goes through the redwood grove area. The lights in the main "dining room" have a dimmer which is nice! There is a restroom behind the bar in the main building as well as the public restrooms just outside on the deck.

The space offers a scenic view to the courtyard fountain that featured blue tiles and splashing water. This is a lovely setting with windows and skylights all around. We did a site inspection and the contact person bent over backwards to assist us. He answered our questions and let us poke around behind the stage. We went into the full kitchen and inspected for cleanliness. It looked good. The restrooms were clean but a little dated. There are plenty of tables and chairs to accommodate weddings, or conferences. On event day, we were able to enter a bit earlier and leave a little later. As we left we observed the staff mopping and washing the tabletops. The space if very clean, spacious and has friendly, low key staff.

The adult lap swim program runs from April through October. The water is clean and warm, and the outdoor pool itself is nestled in a valley with lush trees visible on every side. The lifeguards and staff are all very courteous and attentive to their jobs. The pool itself, during adult swim hours, rarely has more than two or three swimmers in the water. On many days I have been the only one in the pool. Lovely surroundings, warm water, nice people -- this is far and away my favorite place to swim in the Bay Area.

We didn't even decorate the chapel because it was pretty enough the way it was. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a venue in Solano County. The history of the chapel is amazing, and the people who work here clearly adore and care for the chapel. Side note to citizens not involved in the wedding ceremony, please take couple pictures somewhere else when you obviously see a photographer trying to get photos of the bride and her party! I had shots be completely ruined or have to be heavily edited due to activity from unknown parties taking their own random photos in the background of the chapel. We had the chapel reserved at this time, and it really did stress out the bride as well. I did my best to avoid them, but still, common courtesy says this is a once in a lifetime event and please be respectful of that!
