Ambience very nice, not loud, all the food looked very hot and steamed you were supposed to and nice sushi bar. I have to use a walker to even walk much distance, they were very accommodating and quickly came to the door to open them and let me through. Sat me close to the buffet so I wouldn't have to do any extra walking. The food I'm only able to eat a minimum amount, so I only got one plate, I had fried fish, Chinese mushrooms, chicken nuggets, sweet-and-sour chicken, lo mein, sugar roll, sweet-and-sour sauce, hot, green, tea, etc. All of it had real nice taste, but like at most buffets, it comes out hot off the buffet, but by the time you get to it, it's kind of cool. Wish somebody could develop a plate warmer for buffets. Again, I cannot describe how helpful everyone was. Thursday afternoon 3 PM, cost was $17.90 and I left a nice tip. I would suggest hardly if you're looking for a good buffet of both Chinese and American and sushi and hibachi, for a nice price, try this as soon as you can. Wish I could eat more than one plate, but 76 years old and stomach is limited. I had a good time and a good meal.

It seemed the dough was homemade but what ruined it for me was the filling was underdone (some hard pieces). While eating the butter chicken, I bit into a large pod (I'm assuming cardamom) but seems there were other things in mixed in as well--it was about the size of a quarter. Also found a hard piece of what appeared to be bone in the chicken. The flavors were excellent, the naan/kulcha were good--but didn't outweigh the other parts of the meal. Unfortunately I won't return.

I was out in the area, and Indians food sounded good, so I figured this place was worth checking out. I was not disappointed. The inside is very clean, with all tables set up with flatware and glasses. I ordered chicken vindaloo and garlic naan, both items came fairly quickly. The naan itself had a great flakiness to it, it reminded me more of pizza crust than a general flatbread. I do feel like the garlic aspect of it was a tad underwhelming, but that may be to your individual taste. The vindaloo was excellent though. It doesn't blow my mind in terms of what I've tried before, it's just a very good take on something I know I enjoy. It's a hit of a trek to the exurbs of Sioux Falls for Kathmandu, but I know for a fact I plan on going back there.

Hello fellow meat eaters!…read more Y'all know I don't hand out 5 star compliments and am pretty critical when it comes to reviewing restaurants. We visited Carnival last evening and it was as good as it gets from check in, seating, service to food and desert!!!!! They were on point! The staff were sincere, polite and attentive to our experience and made sure we enjoyed the full experience and food. The new owners did a great job with the new layout and decor, I loved the lighted trees it really set the mood with indirect palm lighting around the ceiling. Now to the good stuff... the salad bar and sides were presented nicely, fresh and just the right variety of dishes. Let's face it though, I was there for the meat and wasn't disappointed in the least! The Gaucho's were on a mission man, like they had green token radar! We didn't wait long for a variety of skewered juicy flavors of meat to make it around. The trick here is to not be afraid to kindly request the kind of cut and quantity you would like. Meat eater tip: start slow, take a little, enjoy and go green again so it's always hot, fresh and delicious! We always try to express appreciation for the staff, that includes everyone who plays a role in our experience, especially when we were made to feel so welcome, appreciated as people and customers!!! Shout out to the staff, Thank you! We did meet the new owner, what a nice and personable fellow! He talked with us for several minutes not only to make sure we were taken care of but he also shared his background, family and new restaurants open in the Midwest. I know, I know, I'm on a different level here but I can't say enough nice comments about Carnival and our experience last night. And, it was Friday the 13th after all! Ha!

What's worse is that I took someone who is new to Indian cuisine with me and their experience was less than stellar. Not exactly the experience I wanted them walking away with. Service was super slow. We were seated and then they forgot about us for over 20 minutes. And not like we were tucked away in a corner. We were front and center by the main area. But, nope. We were apparently invisible. Eventually someone realized we had not been helped and finally took our order. The food was mixed. The vegetable pakoras were decent, and the highlight of the evening. Paneer Tikka Masala was a bust. Plenty of paneer, but the sauce itself was weak and lacked much flavor or depth. The naan was decent. Will try something else if I am very back in Sioux Falls and craving Indian food...
