Service was excellent, the lady that waited on me was Michele and she was extremely helpful and asked if she could even do the buffet for me. Ambience very nice, not loud, all the food looked very hot and steamed you were supposed to and nice sushi bar. I have to use a walker to even walk much distance, they were very accommodating and quickly came to the door to open them and let me through. Sat me close to the buffet so I wouldn't have to do any extra walking. The food I'm only able to eat a minimum amount, so I only got one plate, I had fried fish, Chinese mushrooms, chicken nuggets, sweet-and-sour chicken, lo mein, sugar roll, sweet-and-sour sauce, hot, green, tea, etc. All of it had real nice taste, but like at most buffets, it comes out hot off the buffet, but by the time you get to it, it's kind of cool. Wish somebody could develop a plate warmer for buffets. Again, I cannot describe how helpful everyone was. Thursday afternoon 3 PM, cost was $17.90 and I left a nice tip. I would suggest hardly if you're looking for a good buffet of both Chinese and American and sushi and hibachi, for a nice price, try this as soon as you can. Highly recommended! We ate lunch here on Wednesday, August 3, 2023, at 12:00 and the food, service, and facility are the best that we've experienced in a very long time. The food is very tasty and hot with a well managed buffet bar. The dining area and.toilets are clean free from odors, dust, and trash. The servers are nice and continually filled my glass with tea. The price I paid for this is very good considering all of the benefits previously listed. Rating: I rarely give a 5-star rating, but this is worth the rating. We decided to go here for dinner primarily because hibachi grill sounded good. Well the grill was not on tonight or sushi. The buffet was our only choice. We sat down and they brought over two plastic forks and some napkins. Yes plastic ware and the plates were foam. They still were charging $17 an adult for the dinner. Wow. BARFORAMA March 2024 GOOD LUCK! I truly do not understand how this place is open. The state must never come and check the temperature of their food in the hot bar. There wasn't one single piece of food that was even close to the temperature it should be in a buffet, that's sat all day, as it tasted. NO MORE COCONUT SHRIMP?! This used to be my absolute favorite place to go, but their menu has changed. One of the main reasons I used to go there was for the coconut shrimp and for some reason they discontinued having it the buffet. I think that's a big mistake. They have had a lot of struggles in business throughout the years and I don't know why they would mess with success. Let's hope they make the right move and put it back on the buffet. Im surprised this place isn't 4/5-5/5 stars. Because the parking lot was constantly full and there was a ton of people. I forgot what day I went but I went with my parents and my two boys that are two and under. I am from California and have family in Las Vegas so I am seasoned when it comes to buffets especially if you know what time to go *10:30 am to catch the breakfast price but stay long enough you get the breakfast and lunch options at the same ;P. So let me tell you, my family loves cheap buffets, especially cheap Asian buffets and this place was worth it for the money. And actually one of the best or the best Asian buffet I've been to in a long time. We consider this very cheap compared to many. I thought it was extremely clean, well-kept, the tables and chairs weren't sticky and old. The decoration was elaborate or ornate for being an Asian buffet, and very organized. There is food for everyone regardless, if they're a picky eater, and I noticed a lot of people brought their children. A lot of people I also noticed didn't even bother eating a lot of the Buffay food they just stuck with the food that was expensive outside of the buffet, like the sirloin or straight shrimp. The place constantly refilled their food. They had people walking around the stations to make sure it was constantly clean and that there was food that wasn't running out. They had a lot of rows of different items and it didnt taste old! It actually tasted newly cooked. They had a salad area, the ice cream area was OK because it was the hospital individual ice cream cups it would've been fun or yummier to have those big buckets of ice cream But I get it with sanitation. Or at least those FroYo machines. They had a sushi area and they also had an all you can eat hibachi or I call it in mongolian bbq- where you pick your noodles, vegetables, and meat to stir fry in front of you. The staff was very pleasant and welcoming. Only thing is is that they're not constantly checking if you need a refill because they're so busy so you just have to flag them down but they don't have a problem getting what you need. I rarely do yelp reviews because I'm a mom and have no time but thought about doing a review for this place, especially with the lack of reviews and stars- it was a disservice, especially with how busy it is . I found moving to South Dakota. A lot of people don't do reviews or upload pictures. It's especially helpful to those people that are just moving to the state or city when they're trying to find places to eat and go to. read more

Drinks are an additional $1.79 added to your buffet price. For being the "largest Chinese buffet in SD", I didn't think it was anything crazy. There are much bigger Chinese buffets in the Twin Cities. I visited the bathroom twice during my visit here. Both times, the lavatory was in a state of disarray. Perhaps management needs to have bathroom checks every 30 minutes. Especially with as much traffic as it receives. Some food was great, such as the coconut shrimp. The pizza was tasty and much better than expected. There was a variety of sushi to choose from. I arrived around 5:30. From the moment I arrived, more and more customers arrived to get their gluttonous feast on. I felt like the kitchen runners were rather slow at refilling items from the buffet line. The egg rolls and springs rolls were both lukewarm when I ate them. The mac & cheese was disappointing. The chocolate fondue station was a disaster. The various food options to be dipped were placed directly in front of the fountain. Therefore, whenever somebody dipped something, they would drizzle chocolate all over the food sitting in front. I always stay far away from stuff like this. I didn't end up trying the hibachi line. The server at my table was very nice & great at her job! Also, can we talk about the steam table? There was so much steam coming out from underneath the pans, that I thought I was in Freddy Krueger's boiler room. My glasses were fogging up so much, that I couldn't even see some of the food or read what the food was! Overall, I've been to better Chinese buffets, and I've been to worse Chinese buffets. It's 4:00 am and I have food poisoning. I liken this place to a meth addiction - everytime I go I say I'm not going back, but I do. Well no more. Used to be decent, years ago. Today when I entered I noticed an off smell, but didn't think it would end this way. The first chilled shrimp tasted ok, but the second was rank. It was mid afternoon and when I asked staff if they were going to prepare fresh squid to replace the rubbery stuff that had been there for hours they said no.... Now a lady name Ann comments on the posts here Is this under new management since the wage and human trafficking allegations? I'm glad to hear they started using real plates and silverware now. Food: The Mongolian was ok. The sauce was fairly bland (house sauce). Several options to make your plate. The sushi was dry and didn't taste great. I tried at least 5 different ones and none impressed me. The choices for American food are plenty. Lots of options. The Chinese food however, I felt was lacking. Very little to choose from. The general tso's was good but I didn't find anything else that interested me. The buffet has a small salad bar and fruit area as well. Desserts are all cakes and cookies with Ice cream (for an extra charge) available. No real gluten free options here. I had to pick very carefully what I fed my daughter who is GF. When this place first opened, it was pretty good. It has since gone way way wayy down hill. They have removed most of the desert options. The food just doesn't taste as good as it used to and often feels way overcooked now. There are fewer sushi options, and they are more rice than sushi now. And even the cina-bread roll things, they used to be little fluffy balls of heaven, and now they're just mediocre overcooked dry and slightly hard bread rolls. It's just not a good place. This Hibachi's food offering was a lot different then other Hibachi locations... I'm not sure if they change the menu to meet the local tastes, but this place had more Americanized foods then actual Chinese foods. I think I only saw 12 or so Chinese dishes out of 8 buffet tables they had. The hibachi was ok.... the beef was so dried out, not worth getting it... sushi looked like they were sitting around for some time... the turnover around the sushi was very slow... so I would recommend that you skip the sushi and focus on other food items. read more

Saturday 1:20pm 2/8/2020. We arrived as party of 5. We waited in a line, got inside and we're given a number about 10 tables to go. $14 dollars a meal. Not including young kids. My 11 year old was $14. 25 minutes later accept a booth. Buffett is still decent. I enjoyed the variety. That's what makes this place ok to stop at. What makes it a 1 star is as follows. The wait 25 mins, there is no room to park, no room to sit, no room to walk! They had way to many hostess's, to many grill staff, to many Buffett servers. There was a guy telling another guy what he needed on the buffet, who then was telling 2 guys in the grill the same thing over a microphone. With that stood two guys in a day watching them say it from 20ft away from the original guy who first said it. A chain of command of about 6 people for a distance of 20' ft at most. The worst was when we went to pay. The owner (Jake M.) who responded to my last review. Was at the counter with 6 others and two cash registers. We stepped forward to pay with no one behind us. He yelled at us to move forward to pay and I did. I paid as my family stood 6 feet to the left. Trapped by the crowd and another two staff chatting. The owner kept yelling at my kids to step forward to pay. As both tills were busy, the staff was in the way, no one behind them, and they are not paying. I hope you the owner Jake M. Hibachi Grill seems to have returned to proper plates and metal utensils, but the protein on the steam tables is weighted heavily towards chicken. Shrimp and fish are available, but not in every dish. Sushi seems to be slightly sparing of seafood to me, but flavor is good. Service is prompt and friendly. 12% gratuity on my ticket which they wouldn't take off because they had a sign posted but also said for a party of 7 or more. We were a party of 3. Waiter never came by table had to go up and get drinks filled by someone at thier drink station . I've never written a review before, but feel compelled to now. I had my worst experience EVER at a restaurant here. If you want to eat here, consider going anywhere else first. First, let's start with the good. As other reviews mention, the food here is pretty good for Sioux Falls. I was pretty happy with the selection and quality for the price. The bad is that you have to eat on styrofoam plates and cups. The restaurant looks nice, but the tables are wobbly, and it's clear the owners have gone on the cheap. That's sad because if they just used real plates & cutlery along with good tables, it would look pretty nice. But that's not the reason why I'm giving 1 star. I'm giving this place a 1 star because the service is downright the worst! The ugliest part of this place is the staff are downright rude. We weren't finished with our food when one staff member forced us to pay immediately. Unlike other restaurants where they leave the ticket and pick up your credit card a bit later, she gave us less than a minute and then stood at the table until we paid! But that's not the worst of it. After she ran the credit card and gave us back the receipt, she immediately wanted me to sign it so she could take it. I didn't even have a chance to look at the receipt or finish my meal, so I signed it and handed it back. After forcing all of this, she handed the receipt back and DEMANDED a tip! All she did was take the finished plates and fill the water sometimes, so it's not like she particularly deserved one. But I would have anyway if she gave us some time to finish and wasn't trying to force me to tip her. So I didn't give one. When she saw that, she tried to force my wife to tip her! I've never experienced anything like this at any other restaurant in my life. After this experience, I will never be returning there and I will be warning all of my friends to never go there. read more

This place is AWESOME! There is only one thing available, buffet. They have everything you could want to eat on a buffet AND sushi AND hibachi. YUM! The food was so great just as good as any regular restaurant you'd check out. The selection is wide, everything is cooked well and kept at the right temp. , its very clean (minus some of the customers ... you know how some buffet customers can be .. ew. they should have a separate section for those types that will ruin your appetite.) Very spacious, well kept, clean (including bathrooms), seems upscale for the low prices. This place is DEF worth a go. So, go! read more

This is my second time coming here, the first time didn't disappoint. This time I was a bit disappointed in the food. I don't think my chicken was cooked all the way through. The rice and noodles have no taste. My group and I were packed back in a corner. The only service we got was filling up our drinks, which I will mention that my Dr. Pepper had some residue in it, and it was very watered down so I did not end up drinking it. When we got our bills, I paid and signed my name, and I did not add a tip. When the lady came back (who was not our server) she asked "Do you want tip?" And I was pressured to say yes so I added a small one. Meanwhile, this lady was breathing down my neck and watching me write my tip down. After, she gave me a dirty look. I have worked in customer service before and was taught to NEVER watch my customers tip or pressure them into doing so. This place was not really worth my $40 for 2 plates.
