I've been wanting to come here since they opened but parking can be difficult to find. If you take metro or live in the area it's not a problem. But with construction going on and very limited street parking I had to circle around twice to find a spot. The place had customers eating inside and it appeared to be very spacious and clean. Fried shrimp $12.95 - 7 pieces of vegan fried shrimp made from konjac vegetable root deep fried in chickpea flour. Plus you get your choice of dipping sauce. I selected the jambalaya sauce and it was perfect with the shrimp. Very tasty, perfect consistency and just a delicious appetizer. Truly some of the best vegan shrimp that I've had. Khan spicy $19.95 - don't let the small box fool you. This is a very generous serving and it was enough food for two days. Asian rice noodles with Abbott grounds, onions, garlic, sweet peppers, purple cabbage, basil, Thai chili tossed in Mongolian sauce and topped with Daring chicken. It was a delicious meal but not spicy enough and needed more sauce. Recommend adding an extra sauce. I stopped by to try this vegan spot in downtown Atlanta and was really glad I did. While everything looked tasty I was craving something lighter so I went with the Lucky Buddha. It's basically like fried rice but with quinoa instead. I love quinoa but it can be a little plain if it's not seasoned well. I was pleasantly surprised to find the quinoa was tossed with a really delicious sauce and the veggies had a nice grill on them. It still felt light but had enough flavor that I wasn't missing out by ordering a healthier option. It was also topped with a few "chicken" fried mushrooms which added that touch of comfort food. Vegan and gluten-free diners will rejoice at the menu, because there's nothing on it that won't work. Upon walking in, there is ordering by kiosk. Normally, I find this a tad impersonal, but at a place like this where the whole point is customizing your order, it helps for clarity. There will be a bit of a wait since it's being made after you order, but the freshness will be worth it. I was mildly disappointed that they were out of tofu, but the breaded oyster mushrooms made a tasty substitute. With what they call jambalaya sauce and some red beans, I ended up with a bright, New Orleans-y flavor (but you would struggle to find vegan jambalaya in New Orleans; I've tried). My husband and I came across this spot while riding scooters around downtown ATL. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed - the host (owner?) directed us to kiosks to order (but was right there to answer questions), the decor was beautiful (wall art done by a local artist), and the entire place was CLEAN. The flavors were good - he got the Khan, which we both enjoyed. It was spicy but not overly so (but I like spicy). I had a build-your-own bowl with quinoa and chorizo - I think I'd add more veggies to it next time. We both had the fresh watermelon juice which was perfectly sweet and hydrating in this ATL summer heat. And the jalapeno hush puppies were hot, crispy and fresh out of the fryer (also not too spicy but delicious)! The chef came out and chatted with us to check on our food and basically be an excellent host - she was a pleasure to meet. Even the bathroom was clean and neat. This is a great spot to get quick, fresh, clean food. They specialize in gluten-free, gum-free ingredients, so I also appreciate that even though they use meat alternatives, they don't use all those harmful binding ingredients in the food. I ordered the General Tso's chicken stir fry and it was great, strips of deep fried vegan chicken and load with veggies over rice.
