To my vegan friends that are trying to get non-vegans to like vegan food. This is the best place to start. I actually haven't been to this location. I've only had slutty vegan during work events and they come in a food truck, but I don't know how to tag that or give a review on a food truck. But this is the same owner and same restaurant so I will give my review here. Not only is coming here supporting small businesses it's women owned, and it is a black owned business. I am obsessed with the burgers here the way I was working this festival and I did not realize my friend got me a vegan burger. It's so impressive because it actually taste like a normal burger down to the cheese, but it's vegan. This really hits a spot after a whole day of working, I think I was so busy the two times I was working an event that the food wasn't even hot. It was cold by the time I got to it. That says a lot about how flavorful and how well the food holds. I did end up finding the food truck one day and it was warm. The food was still good, but call me crazy I think I like it cold better. But tbh I couldn't hear the employee, not because she was speaking low but the music was high! Which for me is a downfall. I was coming from hiking, very relaxed and I felt like I walked into the club. Due to that reason I would not recommend this place for a date. You will not hear anything. The bathrooms spectacular! So clean. The food was good. I got a "burger" and fries. It was a large serving. The fries are seasoned and crunchy. Worst burger experience of my life. When I entered the music was so loud I couldn't even hear the person across the counter who was YELLING as if I was standing outside on the sidewalk. Eventually, sign language prevailed and I got an order in. Then I proceeded to stand in the corner and wait for somebody to presumably come to the counter, hold a bag up, and scream something indistinguishable. That never happened. Fifteen minutes later I walked over to the counter and asked for my food. The guy at the counter screamed something about being busy and turned around and came back & shrugged his shoulders. Seriously, that was it. Five more minutes passed and asked for my food again. This time the guy decided to check a bag that had been thrown on to a side table on its side with fries spilling out of it. He gave me that bag. The burger was hands-down the worst burger I've had in my life. It oozes of oil so much that I actually think the ratio of oil to beef may have been won by the oil. My girlfriend and cousin ate here and when we entered, we had an announcement as we entered. We ordered the chicken head and hussy fussy, with slutty sauce. Service was very good and we were greeted with funny sayings and this happened as new customers came through the door. The food was flavorful and my girlfriend and cousin loved the sauce. Where we sat, they were demoing different cheesecakes and we had strawberry shortcake, which actually tasted like the strawberry shortcake cake ice cream. The menu was small but mighty and offered a little something for everyone. If you prefer your sandwiches to not have a lot of condiments, be sure to ask to have condiments removed or placed on the side. My food was really good, and was so large I ended up sharing it. The customer service was bright, welcoming, and filled with personality. Primarily at this location to go orders are placed as there is very limited to no seating available. There were a number of restaurant merchandise memorabilia for sale also. If you venture towards the restrooms you will come across a wall signed by guests, so don't forget your sharpie. I had heard a lot of buzz about Slutty Vegan and decided to finally give it a try. This was my first time trying a vegan burger, so I was curious to see what the hype was about. The restaurant itself was spacious and clean, but the staff didn't seem particularly welcoming or enthusiastic. I ordered the Sloppy Toppy without onions and asked for the Slut Sauce on the side. Meals come with fries, which was a nice touch. I also ordered a mango lemonade--it was very good, but extremely sweet, almost to the point of being too much for me. When I took my first bite of the burger, I hoped it might grow on me--but unfortunately, it didn't. Each bite became increasingly unappetizing. To be completely honest, the smell and taste reminded me of something unpleasant, and I couldn't bring myself to finish it. I also never received the Slut Sauce I requested on the side, which was disappointing. The fries were definitely the highlight of the meal. If you're already a fan of vegan food, this might be your kind of spot. Since this was a new item since the last time i patronized a SV restaurant. Upon me getting to work to eat my food, I was pleasantly surprised how SMALL the order of fries were as I paid $17 for the fries; not including my tip! The size should have been larger than that. I was wondering was this overlooked cause I could have got a burger & fries for around that price. Naturally it was only ok I had regretted getting a slice or 2 of pizza after all. I haven't had Slutty Vegan since the first year that they opened. It was really good the first time and fell off the second and third visit. And honestly, I know it's part of their brand, but I don't like being insulted while ordering my food. I stopped going. On this visit to the city, I decided to give it a try...by delivery. This is probably the BEST vegan restaurant I've been to since this category has blossomed over the past few years. Not a dedicated vegan but I enjoy trying the places to see how good the food can taste. I ordered the Sloppy Toppy and I wouldn't have assumed the sandwich was vegan if I didn't order it myself. The staff inside provided EXCELLENT service, speaking to each and every guest throughout their time at the establishment before the food was received. They even went as far as to take time out to prepare ketchup cups for our orders because they had ran out of the packets, I couldn't imagine any food serving place going that far. I would love to give Slutty Vegan five stars because their burgers are delicious. I've never had a bad burger from Slutty Vegan but the reason I'm giving three stars is because every time I go there they get my order wrong (every single time), if there's at least two people have ahead of me, I'm in line for 20 minutes and then it takes another 15 minutes for my food to be made. The fries are always too salty for me to eat and I always forget to tell them light seasoning so I guess that's sort of my fault but I feel like the fries should be edible for all people. The only saving Grace is that the people are nice. On Mother's Day I thought I was being smarter and we ordered on the app thinking somehow it would be ready sooner or without error, but we were wrong. We walked in, and there was literally nobody at the register, they asked us to reiterate the order to make sure they "got it right" they said come back in 10 minutes, I came back in 10 minutes. It took another six minutes to get the food, which was all wrong and then another seven minutes for them to remake everything. If they ever get the business side of this place right, I will gladly give five stars but when I spend $100 on two hooker fries and four burgers but I have to go through all of that - I can't even give you four stars read more

I loved the seasoning that they put on my fries but my hubby didn't. I will say this, I truly feel the owner can take it up a notch by making the patties instead of using pre-made patties from impossible burger. The patties were so thick and really didn't give an authentic feel. Handmade patties will have the "texture" of a homemade burger patty. Do away with the frozen patties and make them by hand. The fountain drink machine was down so we only had the option of lemonade and something else. I was hoping to purchase a coffee mug, but the Edgewood store was out of stock. My love for Slutty Vegan runs deep. I was driving cross country and heading back home and my heart strings was pulling for a good vegan burger. I just left the gym at L.A. Fitness in Atlantic Station and I could've eaten at Yard House, which was boomin at the Station, or grab a Pub Sub at Publix but I got pub subs at home. And I really wanted to support a small and local business so the 10 minute drive from Atlantic Station to Edgewood was well worth it. I got the Dancehall Queen, if you like savory & sweet this is the perfect option to choose, with fries and since I already got a Smart Water from the vending machine at the gym I opted to get a Slutty Vegan tote bag instead as a little souvenir. As someone who has been a fan of the "Slutty Vegan" restaurant for some time, I was excited to finally get to visit a restaurant location in person. Since me and family arrived late in town, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that this location stayed open late (until 1am on the day I visited.) Upon arriving at the restaurant, I was greeted by displays with bright colors and fun signage in the restaurant and was impressed by the adjoining merchandise area. Upon walking to the cash register to place my order, I appreciated that there was a list of ingredients taped to the counter to help those who might have food allergies. After placing my to go order of a "Hollywood Hooker" vegan Philly cheesesteak for me, a "Project Chik" chik'n sandwich for hubby and a "Chik'n Tender" kids meal for my mom-in law, I decided to check out the adjoining merchandise story to see if there was a shirt to purchase as a souvenir. As I looked at the t-shirt for purchase, I was slightly annoyed by the lack of plus size t-shirts (size L and XL) available in their merchandise store area. Although I really wanted a shirt that said Slutty Vegan ATL, since those shirts weren't available in my size, I decided to buy a larger shirt than I needed (a 2XL) in order to at least have a non-food reminder of my visit. Upon picking up my food and taking it to my hotel, I was pleasantly surprised to see that each burger came with fries. My burger was good and flavorful but messy. Hubby said the burger was okay but he really enjoyed the fries. My mom-in-law loved the chik'n tenders but didn't touch the fries because she said they were too salty. Overall, I'm glad I was finally able to visit this restaurant and appreciated that they are open late. The food was delicious, well seasoned, and the vegan shrimp surprisingly tasted like what I grew up on. I went vegan 7 years ago and so I've eaten animal shrimp before. Slutty Vegan completely nailed it on the texture and flavor. I was amazed. I'm glad it didn't taste gumy, slate, or bland. Even the cajun fries were yummy. They were fried as hard to get that holden brown color, but the seasoning made up for the lack there of. Since going vegan, I hadn't had any good banana pudding. The banana pudding was on point. I didn't care for the seamoss (because like why is that needed). Thankfully the seamoss didn't disturb the flavor. It was creamy and well balanced, not overly sweet. With that being said, you would expect the service to have flow. However, that isn't the case. I made an online order at 7:00 PM and was given an expected time to wait until 7:35 PM for the food to be ready for pickup. I'm waiting outside on the street in my vehicle since there's no parking. Most vegan establishment that are in a congested downtown area always lack parking. So, that's no big deal. The big deal was the service and them not having my food ready for pick up. So at 7:35 PM, I walk inside the restaurant to get the food. The whole restaurant is packed with people standing and waiting. It was ridiculous! I observe the front of the kitchen to struggle with taking orders then watch the back of the kitchen to bustling trying to get orders made. It appeared like the guy who was putting out take outs was severely behind. I tell him my name and of course, he looks puzzled. He looks at his take outs machine. Then says, "oops!, it isn't ready yet" I'm baffled because I'm hungry and the should be ready. So I wait for what seems an hour to get my order. I didn't order much, just the heaux boy with cajun fries, banana pudding, and one night stand. I ended up waiting and a lady drew up a conversation with me. She's telling me how she does Doordash and then says, "this Slutty Vegan location is the most unorganized and she was never coming back here again". I said, "well, I definitely agree". The food finally comes out. When I get home to eat it, the food is cold as if its been sitting. They have no one expediting the prepared food to get orders out. After spending about $50 on two orders and receiving cold food. Trust me, next time I'm in ATL, I won't be coming back to this location. Terrible service. read more
