I had a nice house until my cat destroyed it. She found two corners where she thought it'd be cool to take a piss every once in a while. I kept the carpet sprayed down with some all-natural cat pee dissolver and it worked for the most part, but upon close inspection the smell was still there. Having the smell still there made her think that it was still cool to piss there whenever she got mad or whatever. I got to the point where I couldn't take it anymore so I called Sam at Stitch Carpet. I told him I had two 3X3 spots that needed to be replaced. He took some carpet from my closet and fixed the two areas. Took him about 2 hours to complete the job and he charged me exactly what he quoted over the phone. Just be sure if you ever put down new carpet to always buy some extra. Not that I really care, but the carpet in my closet is now a different shade. read more

We bought a KB home in a development community. They throw these things together lighting fast, and unfortunately the quality suffers when that's done. Our carpet was lumpy in places downstairs, and frayed in parts upstairs. When our dogs destroyed a section in the kids room, we knew we had to get it all fixed. Sam came out and fixed EVERYTHING. He even fixed things we didn't know could be done. He re-stretched the carpet to fix the lumps, he re-seamed a part that was done incorrectly, and he patched a part where our dogs had done damage. Our infant's bedroom had terribly squeaky floors that I complained about. Sam had a special tool that allowed him to screw down the loose floorboards without pulling up the carpet in that room. NO MORE SQUEAKS! He was very accommodating and did all the extra work even though we hadn't scheduled it. The price was fair, the work was great. About 8 months later, when it was cold and raining, our dogs decided not to pee outside in the cold. So they started going in our downstairs front room over night. We cleaned it with a carpet cleaner, but the smell kept coming back just enough to annoy me. So I called Sam again. He told me how sometimes carpet cleaning can make the issue worse and he suggested just lifting the carpet, replacing that piece of pad, and re-shampooing. Sam came out, and it was all done in under an hour. I can't recommend him highly enough and I'm sure with two dogs and two little children, we'll be using him again in the future. read more

Grand-dog did a number on carpet at threshold to a bedroom. Sam showed up on time day after I called him. Repair took less than 1 hour and looks as good as new. You cannot tell the carpet was ever damaged/shredded. I did have some extra carpet from when it was installed that he was able to use for the patch.
