Extremely organized and clean space. Air conditioning. Only issue is it's not accessible for anyone with disabilities--it's up a narrow flight of stairs on the second floor. I had two dresses that needed work - one that needed a zipper replacement (except I wanted to replace the zipper with a heavier one and make it visible as opposed to invisible) and one that was way too large in the bust. I say all this because I think there's some complexity to what needed done, as opposed to a simpler "this needs hemming". The first dress was done with no issue, looks great, once I communicated what I wanted they had the exact right hardware and it's sewn wonderfully. The second dress - I have no idea what magical elixir the tailor was drinking but it fits perfectly. The straps are the right length and the bust now fits me instead of someone 2-3 cup sizes larger. I am SO pleased with these results (priced very well also) and will continue to bring clothes here. Note: this is a different business from North York Premium Dry Cleaning, which also does alterations. They're close to each other with similar names but are different businesses.

A simple task, but done neatly nonetheless. I am a frequent vintage shopper and love 50s era shirtdresses for work. I'd found a lovely Neiman Marcus at goodwill that was soft as butter but the proportions were off in a way that I wasn't really able to quantify and I wasn't wearing it. I took it in and he fit me on the spot. I largely let him use his discretion to modernize the fit (as he also makes made to measure items and I was confident in his eye.) $50 and 10 days later I picked it up. The hem had was raised about 18" and thoughtfully recut to be slightly lower in the sides. A personal choice that he immediately explained and offered to switch to something more conventional but it was a lovely tweak. It was taken in perfectly through the torso, and the sleeves had been dismantled and rebuilt in a more flattering fashion. Wonderful. Love this guy.

I feel like even myself can do a better job, and I'm not a professional. The tear originally can fit my 4 fingers wide. It was returned still 4 fingers wide, but spaced out. I asked for him to do a better job. It felt like he just poke more holes and pulled some material out. Told me my material is bad. Don't bother to fix it. If only he said this before he inspected it, and took a job he couldn't be bother to do. Bad service, bad job I wouldn't come back.

They also offer an environmentally friendly cleaning technology called Green Earth Cleaning, using their own custom blend of sand-based cleaners to get great results without using the traditional dry-cleaning solvents on your clothes. In other words, the clothes look great, they don't smell like a dry cleaner when you pick them up, and the process has less impact on the environment. What's not to like? Finally, this is a high-end dry cleaner and they offer extras that others don't, such as after-hours clothing drop-off, automatic credit card charging for their service, clothing delivery to your home after cleaning, small alterations and tailoring, and even Blue Ribbon service.
