I found this place on yelp for school uniform skorts for my 6 year old while visiting the area and trying to plan ahead for her school year (we don't live in the area). I really didn't care for my experience. -She wasn't friendly. Like even in the slightest. She didn't try any sort of pleasantry exchange. - She charged me $80 to take about an inch off the bottom of 3 skorts - She doesn't take credit card - She didn't do a very good job on the work. The skorts didn't adjust for the booty height difference in the back so the front and back are different. Also, when I made a very polite comment about how they were still below the knee (they're supposed to be above knee), she responded that that was where I told her they should be. Like-she wasn't even open to the idea that perhaps they needed to be adjusted more. I ended up taking them to a local spot near me and someone fixed them for me and they're fine now for us but I did have to pay to have them altered elsewhere for a second time. read more

I am an Army Recruiter and needed to have a patch sewn to the breast pocket of 3 different uniform tops. I'd normally have this done at an on base alteration shop that knows the uniform regulations. However, as a recruiter I don't live on a base and the closest, Macdill AFB, is almost an hour away from my apartment. I gave a call and I asked if she could do Army uniform alterations and she was happy to. I brought them in same day without appointment, showed her what I needed done and an online copy of placement regulation , and she did all three on the spot in about 15 min. She was very friendly, I was very happy with the work she did, and the prices were absolutely reasonable. Izeta is one of the best seamstresses I have come across! So lucky to have found her. She is a master of everything from hemming to making holes disappear. And she is reasonable and timely. While other tailors and seamstresses take 2-3 weeks, Izeta takes a week at most. read more

I had been using IRMI on Indian Rocks Rd N in Belleair Bluffs for probably 10 years and though she does a good job...her attitude and rudeness sometimes is very off putting. I took a scrub jacket to her to alter the front from a regular jacket to cardigan type opening. She didn't even look at or touch the jacket, just said NOPE, it cannot be done. OK. I took it down the street from her to the old man at Peter's..he said of course it can be done. Great but it took 3+ weeks for him to do it, he wanted payment up front and cash only. It was a thin cotton scrub jacket...3.5 weeks is absurd. I knew I wouldn't ever be going back to IRMI but I didn't think Peter was a suitable replacement. I found Stitch n' Style just driving down West Bay Dr and I happened to look over at the shopping center that was just remodeled and saw the ALTERATIONS sign. I went in as soon as it was open. The lady is very nice, accommodating and fast. I have been happy with all of my alterations and she even did a same day for me without an upcharge. The only downside is she is CASH ONLY. I can only assume because this is a brand new business and she has yet to set up any kind of Credit Card account or get a Square. I would highly recommend her. read more
