She's even told me that the quality/material/craftsmanship of something was so poor it wouldn't be worth my while to alter it. It was more cost effective for me to just buy it new. And she was right! She also did my wedding dress - and she made me feel like I was wearing the most elegant and timeless piece I've ever owned. (It was a Carolyn Bessett-Kennedy inspired sheath.) Parking is in the lot next door in the auto repair shop but it's a bear pulling out when traffic is bad.
