I used to use this cleaners when I needed something dry cleaned. They are very good & do an excellant job. The man that ownes this place - helps with his community as well! He takes in coats and repairs them if needed & cleans them & gives them away so others can wear them. I think that he is great by doing this! I take my hat off to him! read more

Incredibly kind owner named Joe. I brought an heirloom gown with a lot of sentimental value to his business to be cleaned. Preceding the garment being serviced-Joe was extremely considerate, and caring while reviewing the process. The price was extremely reasonable, and his associates were equally kind, and professional. When I called Joe and left a message asking to clean our graduation gowns, I never thought I would even receive a call back. I was prepared to get a discount at most, but Joe offered to clean 71 graduation gowns for our High School Equivalency graduation. They were returned to me cleaned, pressed and on hangers with plastic over them. Art's Drive In Cleaners operates under the customer service principles that our world is missing today. I went to Art's because of all of the great reviews and I certainly regret every going here. I brought my wedding dress to get hemmed and bustled. My first fitting went well the woman pinned my dress for the hem and then started on the bustle, as she was doing that I asked if there was any other way of doing it as I wasn't to fond of how it looked she told me absolutely not this is the only way. In my mind I said Ok she is the professional if there is no other way then fine I will deal with it. So now the time comes for me to get my dress, I am so excited until I see my dress. The bustle looked absolutely horrendous this woman put white flower bow things on where the hooks connect mind you my dress is ivory. Parts of the dress were on the floor it looked uneven it just was nothing what I thought it would look like. The seamstress that did my fitting was not there when I had arrive so the other seamstress was helping me said she can take off all the bow things and do the bustle completely different while she was pinning me the seamstress who did the original fitting walked in. From the beginning she was nasty she did not like that I was not happy with the way it looked she started yelling at me that her work is perfect and I need to leave it how it is because its the only way it could be done but obviously she was wrong. At this point I had enough the way she was speaking to me yelling at me in front of my children. I said I will take my dress somewhere else and get it fixed so as I was changing she was yelling at my mother in law that she made my dress perfect. I told the girl at the front desk to please have the owner call me and we will discuss what just happened and what I will pay because I wasn't paying for the crappy work she did. As I was leaving the other seamstress was kind of enough to tell me should could fix my dress. I then get a phone call but didn't get to the phone fast enough so instead of listening to voicemail I just called the cleaners thinking it was the owner instead it was the seamstress yelling and screaming at me that I need to get back there and pay that she made my dress perfect, I hung up on her as she was screaming at me and I was not going to listen to that. I then listened to the voicemail and sure enough it was this seamstress insisting that she made my dress perfect and I needed to get back there and pay. Later in the day I get a phone call from Joe the owner he apologized up and down so fine. I then get another phone call from him saying to come in on Monday to get my dress but my dress was at the home of the seamstress that was helping fix it well he said he told her to bring my dress back. Today Monday morning I go to get my dress and the owner offers a $10 discount now at this point I have had it! The woman at the front desk gets the owner on the phone and I explain my absolute disgust of how I was treated and how bad my dress looked. Joe then took $40 off but it doesn't matter the fact that I was paying what I was paying for the alterations then to have my dress look as bad as it did and have to deal with such a nasty woman I feel he should of done more. The way that woman spoke to me in front of my children, the way she spoke to my mother in law and then calling me and screaming and yelling the way she did all because I was not satisfied with the way she did my dress was just absurd to me. At the end of the day I hope that no one ever has to deal with something like this because my excitement was turned into nothing but stress!!! I will never ever step foot in that cleaners again and hope people think twice before they bring in something so meaningful as a wedding dress to them. The only reason one star was rated is because you have to leave a star, if it was up to me they would get none!! read more
