When I contacted Stivers, I had never heard the name Stivers or Prattville before in my life. I wanted the best price on a new vehicle and started with my closest dealership and worked my way out until I found 3 dealerships that had what I was looking for. I decided on Stivers but then a local guy talked me into all of that doing business locally in case I need something stuff and I told Stivers I was set and didn't need anything more from them but the salesperson was nice and said something like "We have to beat the price you've been offered. It's what we do...(mentioned some $1000 'beat the deal' program they have, IDK) ..." So I now own a Stivers vehicle! All signed, sealed and finalized virtually and delivered by a congenial driver a few days later. It was amazing and exactly how easy car buying can be and should be in 2026! read more

Stivers has upgraded their status with me. From a worst review, to having a very positive interaction with the company. I called and scheduled an appointment. Appointment was agreed upon well within an acceptable timeframe. I was greeted, and the service person listened and understood what I was saying to them about the issues. The service was performed promptly, and I was called and given the details of the service and what to expect from the vehicle after the service was performed. ZERO Stars! I had a scheduled service appointment at 8:00 am this morning (December 17th) to diagnose a check engine light on my dashboard. I sat for four hours before the service clerk came and told me they were going to be unable to look at my car today but that I could reschedule for January 5th! Ha ha ha! I was quoted a price by the salesman and he had me sign a paper with this price and the trade in offer. Then they kept me waiting for 4 hours! By the time I got into the office to sign the final sales contract, I was running late to a very important appointment. Absolutely HORRENDOUS service department. The people on the phone will lie to you over and over just to get you off the phone. They will tell you your car is in the service department being worked on but if you drive by you'll find it sitting in a mud parking lot behind the building. They'll tell you the techs did a full inspection on it but you'll find out they haven't even moved it from where you dropped it off. They'll make promises to call you back in an hour after the tech finishes but nobody will ever call you back, then if you call the next day they get pissed off at you for calling. I had a good experience with my salesman Spencer. I called about a vehicle online. He texted me back with every question I asked, and sent me videos of the vehicle. I was able to do all of the paperwork from home on my phone which made this process so easy. They delivered the car to me, and took my trade in back with them. Very smooth process. Reason for 4 stars, is because my new car only had 17 miles left until E. I feel like after buying a $50k+ vehicle from them they could have put some gas in it But overall - my experience and transaction was top notch thanks to Spencer! read more

Called this dealership to make an appointment for vehicles first oil change. Was shocked to be told that they don't take appointments for this level of service!! Was then told that they have "Quick lube service first come first serve". Ok more in that in a minute. So asked to be transferred to a service writer about an issue with the new Jeep. Receptionist actually told me "well they are really busy back there and you can leave a message but they probably won't return your call for several days". Really?? Went to this dealership as with the new Jeep purchase several of the first oil changes are free. So drove over to dealer to find 3 vehicle in front of me and was told the wait would be 3-4 hours....doesn't seem very quick to me. Returned the next morning 30 minutes before they opened so I could be first in line for the oil change. Took one technician in the back of the shop (not the quick bay lube) 75 minutes to do the oil service and rotate the tires. Never did get a phone call back from the service writer from my voice message I left. read more

The service department is EXTREMELY slow. My check engine light came on one Friday morning on my way to work I took it to this dealership Saturday morning & the technician informed me they only do standard tire rotation, oil change etc. on the weekends. I went back Monday morning & the tech said he'll do his best to get it back in a few hours. After a 8 hour shift I got a ride back to the dealership because their shuttle doesn't take customers to/from Montgomery just to find out they needed to keep my car overnight but the tech stated it'll be ready in the morning. 11:00am the next morning I called to see if it was ready the tech said they're working on it now. 1:30pm I went to the dealership & my car was sitting in the exact same spot it was in the night before! I was pissed! The service manager stepped in at this point & said he was going to personally take my car into the garage & make sure it's worked on & to give him an hour & 30 minutes. At 4:30pm I was still at the freaking dealership only for the manager to finally decide to give me a rental. SMDH!!! I'm now here 3 weeks later, I came in at 11:23am on a Thursday for a oil change the tech said it would be ready in 45 minutes. It's 1:48pm & my oil is still being changed. I had the pleasure of working with Brian on purchasing a Ford Explorer and I have to say from start to finish it was one of the best (if not the best) experience I have had with a dealership. Every moment of our communication was very professional and very personable. Being a hospitality professional both of those aspect are very important to me. He knew that I was still researching where I was going to purchase and handled every aspect of our initial exchange with confidence and comfort. I had my mind set on a Limited edition after realizing that the one they had was sold a few days prior, he did not let that stop me from considering other options they had at the dealership. He instead opened the door to me looking at another vehicle that was comparable and actually better equipped than what I was looking for. (Great job at suggestive selling) We pretty much finalized everything on the phone that evening an agreed to meet a couple days later. He had some insider information about me owning a detailing shop and how particular I am about the look and cleanliness of my cars. I arrived early a couple days later and he had the vehicle sitting in front of the door and it looked great! I parked beside it and proceeded inside and before I could ask for him, he walked to me and greeted me as if we had know one another for years. (true customer service professional) We took a look at the Explorer and I was honestly impressed, inside and out. He had the initial paperwork ready, we sat looked everything over and within 10 minutes I was in finance discussing the terms and signing for my new Ford Explorer XLT and I love it. Brian is an awesome young man and has a great future in the business. I will definitely recommend him and Stivers to everyone I talked about purchasing a vehicle in the area. I forgot to mention, I drove 76 miles to meet him and purchase mine. That alone speaks volumes considering the number of dealerships I past on the way. You can't go wrong with the Stivers Dodge team. My truck has been there over 3 times for the same problem, this time it's been 5 weeks and still hasn't been in the shop as they are waiting to get another car out like every time I come up there and ask. It previously had a lift pump installed and it had to be taken back twice because it sprayed diesel fuel every where. They have good service writers but there mechanics are sub par at best. I wont be purchasing another dodge again and will definitely not deal with Stivers after the problem is fixed read more

I brought a 2009 dodge charger to the service department to have a new keyless key fob programed they took my car inside and less than 10mins the tech brought the car back said the fob would not program the service manager said I still owed 65.00 any way if I wanted to find out why it did not work they had scan my computer that cost 100.00 dollars I took my car to a locksmith it took him 20mins to program he said it was 70.00 because I furnished the fob if it did not program it would only be 35.00 he said the tech did not know what he was doing or the program the used was out of date he said he plugged his to the computer every night so it could up-date its self every night read more

I dropped off my car pretty early in the more. The staff was very courteous and polite. I was told in advance for all the service what would need to be done, before they did it. I was very surprised with that. I called later on that evening to see if my car was fixed or not, thank little baby Jorge it was! I have had no complaints with them so far!
