Let me start by saying that the server (Nathan) was amazing and kept checking on us and the kitchen repeated while we waited for our food to arrive. We were there for breakfast and the ambiance is casual. Saying that, the kitchen seems to have no clue how to make our food. It took literally 50 minutes for our food to arrive. Nathan kept apologizing and checking in kitchen with time updates of our order. I had steak (medium) and eggs (over medium) with crispy potatoes. Steak was well done and dry (of course). My wife ordered side orders of two eggs scrambled (well done), crispy potatoes and sourdough. Her eggs were bread. Her eggs were runny from inside. The other orders were kids Nutella French toast and Adult French toast which came out good. I want to make sure to say it again that the service was amazing. Nathan and the manager apologized and took off the steak and eggs and my wife's eggs and toast off the bill. I went there for a late dinner on a Wednesday night after the fireworks. It was nowhere near crowded, but I waited almost 30 minutes for a table for 1. I sat near the window and, of course, the view was really nice. I ordered the short ribs, which came with a side of mashed potatoes and I ordered Brussel sprouts. It was a big portion of food and I was unable to finish it. It tasted okay, but definitely not worth the price. This place is so expensive, but nothing makes it worth the price. Went for early dinner on a Monday. It was slow, but we still made a reservation in Open Table. Atmosphere was very chill. Our server was super nice. Everyone enjoyed their food and drinks. Minor mishap with a spilled drink but overall service was good. Pricey, but overall worth it. read more

Our dinner tonight was a positive experience based mainly on the view and service. The food was fine but not notably. We had lobster pasta, mac and cheese, and a large Cesar salad. The ambiance was unpleasant, but the view of the falls was amazing. They really know how to make kids happy. They had a magician come to the table and preform magic tricks. From the very start we were rushed by our server Mike. We had cocktails already and were trying to look at the menu, he kept trying to push us to order a bottle of wine when we told him we needed a little bit. We ordered the appetizer and before it even came out he was trying to rush us to order our food. Mind you we told him at the beginning thay we were taking our time and we didnt want to be rushed. He brought the appetizer, we didnt even get to have a bite of it before he was there again asking us to order. We did, I got the 10 oz prime rib that was 125 dollars and asked for it med rare. He brought it and it cane out more than well done.. this is a steak house, you should be ashamed that you even sent that out. He then told me they were no longer able to do it med rare. So he asked of I would want the filet instead. I said fine. My mom got the salmon, she was finished with her meal before I got my steak. Mike then told me that they were going to give the the filet for the price of the prime rib. It was a 3 dollar difference... he did bring out 2 glasses of champagne to apologize. We asked for boxes, got dessert and was trying to enjoy our champagne. We finished the dessert and he brought the check. Then he proceeded to hover over us until we paid.. so we paid and still had half a glass of champagne left. He came up to us amd told us that there was a wait and they needed this table.. I am sorry. We just spent 400 dollars amd were only there for an hour and a half amd you're going to kick me out???? When we were leaving we passed the host stand and there was no one waiting. We asked the host if any one was waiting for a table and they told us no. So he kicked us out because way? He wanted to go home? It was 8:50 when he kicked us out. We will never go there again. THE BIGGEST RIP OFF EVER. The best thing about this restaurant is the view. I had the Wagyu burger - it was AT BEST extremely overcooked. My wife had a starter Caesar salad with add-on salmon. We were charged $29 for the salad and $61 for the 6oz salmon fillet on top of it!!! NINETY DOLLARS for an overcooked piece of salmon and some lettuce!!! Hard time getting our drink order placed, server delivered then disappeared. Never encountered another server, finally went to the bar and requested our tab. My son had the Wagyu Flat Iron, it was his birthday, and it was amazing. No more Tito's at the bar (us import crying ) but i was able to find 1 stocked Napa Cab to go with the meal. Upon making our reservation, I didn't realize the steaks don't come with anything like their entrees do. So we got steaks and ordered a mac n cheese to share. The complimentary bread was good, and while my drink was good I couldn't tell it had any alcohol. I ordered the 10oz ribeye medium well and got it medium rare. I ate maybe 3oz and couldn't do it. My husband got the 6oz filet which I wish I had gotten. Mom got the braise beef ribs and while she said she liked it - she barely ate any. For the price, you're paying for the view and not the food. I've seen mixed reviews about this place. I dined in last night with a family of 6. Our table ordered 2 Half Roasted chickens, The Salmon, Prime Rib and Lamb Racks. I will say it took at least 45 min to get our food but one it arrived it was hot and delicious. Very much worth the wait. The overall price was comparable to any fine dining restaurant. We got a burger (was so dry and tasteless) and the ridiculously priced lobster linguine which tasted like it was made from canned sauce! Calamari was so dry and the pieces are so tiny and overdone (clearly a batch just sitting there and served to us probably hours later). Very dissapointed and will never be returning. This location was surprisingly good. The atmosphere was inviting with a great view of the Falls. There was so much space and it was decorated very nice. They kicked it off with a delish pull-apart sourdough bread, topped with blue-cheese butter and served with chive olive oil for dipping. For my main I ordered the Lobster Linguine which was a decent portion size. There was an abundance of lobster meat, I would've loved a bit more pasta added but I still had leftovers. I'm visiting from Chicago and came to Niagara Falls with my family. We made a reservation at STK inside the Embassy Suites for 7:45 PM, specifically requesting a table with a Falls view. Not only did they not honor our reservation, but they told us to wait 45 minutes. We ended up waiting until 10:00 PM, and they kept saying they couldn't seat us because the people at those tables "still hadn't left." The manager, Sam, was extremely rude and unprofessional. 100% an amazing experience! Our server was very welcoming and inviting and made sure we had the best food on the table based on our preferences. All of our orders were good but my favourite would be the sea bass. The prime rib steak was perfectly done just how i like it - medium rare. I also ordered wine and our server recommended that I get the malbec and now I can say that I have a new favourite red wine :) You have the view of the falls from the restaurant which makes it a more memorable experience! We really looking forward to our dinner date at STK. The remodeling of the Keg restaurant was nice, same layout, fresh paint and flowers. The hostess was friendly and nice as was the waitress. So I thought this is going to be great. Boy was I wrong We ordered drinks, a bit pricey but they were good. The wine menu was way over priced, so we didn't order a bottle The food. Appetizer: calamari, over cooked, too crispy, small portion. The sauces were the highlight. We both ordered steaks. I'm so mad I didn't send mine back. I ordered the ribeye medium, it was medium on the inside and burnt, really burnt on the outside. The side dishes were not memorable. One more thing, not a fan of loud disco music while I'm have a romantic date with my husband. Although i hate to pull the race card, I'm going to all this review dining while black. The worst experience ever. Ruined my entire trip. My daughter flew me in from Memphis, Tennessee and made a reservation for us to celebrate my birthday. We asked if there was a window table available as requested on the reservation. She said allow her to get it cleaned, but to wait up front. Samantha, the manager, was so rude and ugly to us. She asked "How can I help you?" I said I'm waiting on the window table to be cleaned. She said with attitude, "There are other people that are waiting for a window table that had reservations before you. I asked If she knew my name? She said no. I asked well how do you know my reservation time or how long I've waited? She deflected, she cut me off, didn't listen, and said to me that i'll have to put you back in the que behind the "other people", because they were waiting. This was my first time visiting STK Steakhouse and I was very pleased with everything! The food, the ambiance and the quickness of being seated were all great. I am writing this review to commend the excellent service provided by our waitress Eva. She was the nicest person I've encountered in a long time. Because we were not from the area and were not used to the snowfall we encountered, Eva took the time out to give us great travel advice and made us feel so welcomed. To all future Customers that are thinking about dinning at this place. My family and I attended STK for a New Years Celebration 2025 last night. The atmosphere was very CLUBY, as the lightening was extremely dark. For the price of the meal and drinks/service I would rate this place a ONE out of ten. For the price of a $125.00 steak and $30. small apps, it is definitely NOT WORTH the service quantity or quality. Our food was completely burnt, the waitress forgot to bring our side orders we ordered, and after are steaks arrived not to our liking, a second order was brought to our table which we sent back not to be charged as we were not happy with the food. For a party of 5 people our bill would have been with a bottle of wine around $700.00 CDN PLUS!! The manager Christine was spoken to and agreed this is unacceptable for a dinning experience for the price one pays. The Keg restaurant was bought out by STK which is now catered for clients that don't care about price or quality of the food. The prices are NOT shown on there menu as the cheapest regular steak will run you from $90.00 to a porterhouse steak costing $264.00 and higher!!! This establishment is not a Michelin award or distinction restaurant.
