Cute venue. Seems pet friendly. Got their hojicha+milk sweetened and it's nice. Would probably get again if I'm in the area.

This little cafe is great! Amazing coffee selection, and prepared well. The staff are very knowledgeable when asked for recommendations. I prefer the coffee notes to be fruitier. And the recommendation given did not miss. They have a little seating area with chill vibes. There is a 1h seating limit so don't expect to come here to get work done.

We had a hojicha one day and a matcha the next day. Both were really good but the bedt thing was the matcha cookie - amazing!! Service was great!! The place has good energy and cute nick nacks.

They offer an impressive selection of beans and a dedicated pour-over area if you're feeling fancy. You'll also find some really cute ceramics for sale, like mugs and chawans. I got the cold brew and iced matcha latte. The cold brew was strong and smooth. The matcha had a nice balanced profile with mild sweetness. It didn't overpower the milk but still came through (with regular milk btw). Friendly staff, and relaxing space. Will definitely be back if I'm in the area.

A cafe in Richmond Hill that has a super cute and vibey interior. Got an iced latte that was pretty good. They have seating in the back that I enjoyed since it was a little more dim and vibey with projections on the wall. The cafe had adorable decor and trinkets all around that added to the ambiance. Also saw lots of people working at this location on their laptops. It was a comfortable place to relax or get work done and the staff and service were great.

I stopped by Stoa Coffee this morning on New Year's Day for a coffee before lunch, just a few minutes after they opened at 11 AM. There was only one barista working, but there were already several customers in line (which really speaks to how popular this cafe is). The barista was patient and managed to take orders and prepare drinks efficiently. FLAT WHITE - 6 They use Hatch Coffee Roasters' Supernova blend for their espresso here. The flat white was okay. The coffee flavor was on the darker side and didn't quite pair well with the milk. It was still drinkable, but not the standout I was hoping for. Next time, I'll probably try something else. I appreciate that they have a lot of coffee equipment and variety of coffee beans they offer, including Hatch and Monogram from Calgary, as well as some matcha options. The interior is also charming, with a cozy, Japanese-inspired vibe.

Small coffee shop serving up speciality coffee beans with nuanced notes & blends. I ordered a latte using their speciality roast of the month, and it was worth the extra $1 for the depth of flavour. Coffee is excellent here, but a tad pricey when compared to other similar cafes.

They're tucked in the back of the venue and lights are always off, so it's kinda awkward to walk into a hidden corner full of people. The renovation kinda matches Kaleido's industrial vibe. Seats are limited but you could sit near the "stage". They do have some special drinks like the apple crumble latte and koji latte. We got the iced ovaltine latte, hot koji latte and hot roasted latte. The koji latte (espresso, brown sugar, fermented rice and milk) came in the same maybe 8 oz glass as the ovaltine? For $7.5, I would have expected a bit more and not in a glass especially for a hot drink. The fermented rice made the drink taste like a hot chocolate though. The roasted oolong latte and ovaltine were just ok, nothing spectacular. If you're a cafe hopper, it's worth checking out, but not an everyday coffee place.

The atmosphere is cozy, great for groups or being solo sitting at the coffee bar to interact with the barista. Coffee Now located at Kaleido event space which is well decorated with great nice, very instagramable. My favourite is the pour over coffee and the beans selection is great. There are different beans rotation regularly. The barista is well trained to make a tasty cup of pour over coffee. The experience was excellent, you are able to smell the beans after grind. I also enjoy their flat white, dirty. My kid is tea lover and love their oolong or matcha latte. Coffee Now also pairs up with local patisserie shop to bring very delicious desserts to pair with their coffee. My favourite are the Purin (Japanese pudding) and cheesecake.

The Origin is a bit sad these days. I was here last Saturday, taking in a flick at the Cineplex. This mall has seen better days. These major players are no longer at this mall: - South Street Burger with La Diperie - Me Va Me Express - Kiu Japanese Restaurant After the movie was over, I felt like a drink. Chatime is still around. However, there must have been fifteen people in the store, waiting for their drinks. I remembered this Lucullus bakery that was next door to the late South Street Burger. I had never been to this location in downtown Markham. I have been to the one on Yonge Street, south of Finch Avenue West. That store had beverages, so I'm sure that this one did, too. You enter and exit using the external doors. You cannot access the mall through this bakery. I opened the door. I was not expecting to walk into a time warp. It felt old-world European, in a period that I was unfamiliar with, but it felt like I knew it instantly being here. I loved the small tiffany lamps that were in front of the coffee area. So quaint! I hit the bakery section. I got a tray that oddly looked far more modern than the interior. I also got a pair of tongs. Just past 6 pm, I was expecting slim pickings with the baked goods offerings. Surprisingly, there were a number of croissants and buns available. My haul consisted of these items: - Curry beef puff - Tuna bao - Chocolate croissant - Luncheon meat bao - Corn and ham bao - Beef bao These six items barely fit on my wooden tray. I found the drinks. They were in the fridge. I got a chrysanthemum flower honey tea. I approached the counter. I got a helpful woman. She asked me if I needed a bag. I said yes. I hadn't expected to come here to get a bunch of baked goods and a drink. I'm glad that I did. I got a straw for my drink. I paid with a credit card. There was a 25-cent transaction charge when you use your debit or credit card here. It didn't bother me, as I rarely have cash on hand. I thanked her, took my bag of yumminess and my drink, and headed to the elevators to fetch my car in the underground lot. I'll start with the chrysanthemum flower honey tea. It's exceptionally Chinese. I grew up sipping it when I had a sore throat. I loved how it tasted. It had the perfect tea strength with a touch of honey. The downside was that the flower in this tea was a choking hazard when I sucked it through the straw. I ended up straining my drink at home to prevent myself from coughing up a lung again. I loved my baked goods haul. Everything was delicious. Thoughts about each one: - Curry beef puff - Flaky. It had the best curry beef filling. - Tuna bao - A lot of tuna filling. Tasty! - Chocolate croissant - It was divine with dark chocolate. It does have black sesame seeds on it. - Luncheon meat bao - Yummy. It would be better if it had egg paired with it. - Corn and ham bao - So good! It had a lot of corn balanced with the salty ham cubes, mixed with mayo. - Beef bao - It was delicious that I took a bite and didn't think about taking a photo of the bao in its intact glory. A definite bao winner. I'd return for more good eats. This store apparently has meals that I'd like to try. Despite how sad it was seeing a few businesses close down at this mall, I am thrilled that this bakery is kicking around. I'm glad that I finally visited it. I'll be back for more! (182)

What I found odd was the fact they didn't have any real coffee beverages available. They call themselves "Roasters" but the only thing they are roasting is drip coffee and Asian milk teas and teas. They said no cappuccino, latte, macchiato, cafe au lait...none of them were available. What kind of weird bakery and roasters is this? It was completely bizarre. Why have signs and a menu if they are not available. Strange experience. Will not return ever.

Every time I saw this annoying change, I'd ask Yelp to change it back to Whole Foods Market because the entire listing is devoted to the supermarket. I frequent it often. I am not just checking into the coffee bar when I'm there. It's the market that I am checking into, which houses this coffee bar. Last week, the business name for Whole Foods Market in Markham changed to WFM Coffee Bar twice. WTH?! After seeing that change yesterday, I had had it. I decided to not only have Yelp change the listing back to the formal market name, I recommended having a new listing for WFM Coffee Bar. Leave the original one for the market as intended. Create a new one for the coffee bar so that I can stop making requests to change the name back to what it should be. The Yelper who is constantly asking for this listing can now use this one and everyone can live happily ever after. Yelp did it. This listing is for the coffee bar. To the Yelper who needs it, please use it. This solution is so much better than Yelp making a lazy, erroneous change to an existing business. Simple. Here's the actual review of this coffee bar... WFM Coffee Bar is located inside Whole Foods Market. You get there by entering the main doors and hanging a right. Walk all the way down, past the self-checkout kiosks. The cafe is after the kiosks and before you hit the sushi counter. You can get coffees, lattes, iced teas and coffees, snacks, and more here. It also does smoothies. I like that it offers dairy-free beverage alternatives, such as almond beverage. You can also get nut substitutes in your smoothies, such as almond butter. The substitutes are an added charge and can add up if you go crazy with them. This cafe also features gift ideas for your coffee or drink-loving friends. I have seen everything from mugs, to drinkware and noodle bowls with chopsticks. If you can't get enough of your coffee, you can buy bags of coffee beans. It may be cheaper to brew your own coffee creations if you can't get to this bar by 6 pm. You can sit down and enjoy your drinks and snacks that you bought from this bar. There are chairs and seats in front of this bar, closest to the windows. Otherwise, grabbing your beverage and snacks is perfectly fine if you need to dash. I am thrilled that this listing is available. I look forward to not seeing the Whole Foods Market listing for Markham change. We have a dedicated business listing for this coffee bar at long last.
