*First Timer* I was introduced to this place by a relative. What an awesome coffee shop. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambience, the food, the no laptop on the table policy, all of it is awesome.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have different drink options, as well as delicious desserts, and a great ambience to meet with friends and just vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm originally from Scarborough, but I live in Atlanta now. It's great to be able to come back home and have a place to just chill congratulations. Support small business Be sure to check this place out.

A great addition to the Scarborough area (along the Kennedy strip). Shop for furniture, eat some great food! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space is actually quite large, and I love the fact that they don't cram in tables - nothing more annoying when the seating next to you is on top of you lol.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are also several tables where laptops are banned.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered an iced coffee, halal pastrami sandwich and a pistachio croissant The sandwich ($12) was delicious, it had spicy mustard/mayo and crisp pastrami slices on grilled bread - hit the spot The croissant($5:50) had the flakiness needed and the pistachio flavour came through- from the filling, to the sprinkle on top. And it was a bigger size than some other places croissants, which was nice [[HIGHLIGHT]]A great spot to chill.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Only downside is the parking is lacking, I ended up parking in the plaza beside it. But I can see if it was a busy day it would be hard pressed to find any.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]I remember coming here when it was half the space, and I've really loved what they've done with the new renovations! The inside feels bright and spacious, with lots of tables available.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food and drinks are very good, I love their different flavoured latte options and toasts/sandwiches. Service is friendly and attentive. [[HIGHLIGHT]]However, they have a strict policy on designating approximately 2/3 of the tables as being laptop-free.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]While I understand the need to maintain a balance between table availability and people using their laptops for work/study, this feels overly restrictive when the laptop-free side of the cafe is mostly empty whereas the "work" side is filled with people that take up a spot for hours.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Some alternatives could be having a time limit for tables, enforcing this only during peak hours, or assigning large communal tables to the "work" area so it isn't 1-2 people on a laptop taking up a table for 2-4 people for hours.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

They use good quality matcha! It wasn't bitter at all and I didn't add any sugar or syrups. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place has high ceilings and is nicely designed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The workers are also very nice and patient even during busy weekends like today

Just found out about this aesthetic cafe on IG called Edill's Coffee House, and saw how spacious it was online! We decided to come here to get some work done. Little did we know, everyone else was thinking the same thing, too, on a Thursday afternoon lol. The line up at the counter was consistent throughout the day; it is definitely a busy and popular spot for students! We were very lucky that a table opened up, and we tried some of their signatures: * Iced Pistachio Latte ($5.75) * Hot Cinnabon White Mocha ($5.50) * Avo Lanch Toast ($8.75) This location used to be called RoyalTea Coffee and only changed its name to Edill's Coffee House last winter due to having a very similar name to Royal Tea Bubble Tea, which caused a lot of confusion for customers. I'm glad Edill made this name change, and the cafe is completely thriving! Keep up the great work, team

Came here for the first time time. Super busy and packed. I would say if you're looking for a seat and want to study here you should come early as the place is so busy and some tables have signs that say no laptops allowed. We got the unicorn drink (matcha and butterfly pea latte) and pistachio croissant to share. I LOVED the pistachio croissant, they warmed it and it was so yummy and melted in my mouth. Drink was ok I probably wouldn't order it again though. Will be back to study on a weekday and try their sandwiches.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Spacious coffee shop with high ceilings and beautiful designs.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Edil's Coffee House has unique drinks and pastries. There is something for everyone. Also, this coffee shop has friendly service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The only negative to this coffee shop is that it does get really busy and you may not get a seat.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely a must try !

100% Halal Pastrami sandwich with a few tiny leaves of baby spinach, sweet mustard, and spicy chipotle sauce. Royaltea Chai Latte.

The new bestselling sandwich is a 100% Halal Pastrami sandwich on toasted rye bread. It's a simple sandwich ringing in at about $12.50 + tip. It's tasty and grilled in an indoor panini press on the countertop behind the cashier. Each time a sandwich is grill-pressed, clouds of smoke linger inside the cafe, creating a cool smoke machine ambiance. While cool, it's gotta be somewhat toxic. Simple fix is to amp up indoor ventilation and everyone's a winner. Secret sauce? Inside the sandwich is a thin single leaf layer of baby spinach leaves (about 4 or 5 leaves), sweet mustard, with a spicy-tangy-creamy sauce reminiscent of pickled relish and chipotle mayo, and pastrami.

Cavernous coffee space with a great selection of pastries, sandwiches, brunch items and an extensive coffee and tea menu. Service is quick and friendly; and [[HIGHLIGHT]]there is plenty of seating - that despite being busy, is quiet enough to have easy conversations.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was here for a business meeting; saw a combination of people on laptops, studying and meetings - this is a great example of third space in action![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I had a nice time in this sunny and welcoming cafe. There is plenty of seating, although it was quite full when I got there on a Sunday afternoon and nabbed the last seats. Everyone was on their laptops, plugged in and working in almost complete silence. I had the Matcha White Chocolate Latte, which they frothed up and poured really nicely with milk and white chocolate flavoring. Great space to do some reading or work or to catch up quietly with a friend.

Mediocre coffee and pastries. I tried the biscoff crème brulee latte. It was very sweet and had pieces of what I think was soggy biscoff cookie inside the drink. Not pleasant at all. The almond croissant I tried was so stale and barely had an almond paste inside. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place was pretty big with a lot of seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It had a nice aesthetic.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Saw many people studying/working.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Cozy cafe tucked away in Scarborough - this place also allows you to work with your laptop but does have restrictions on using it on every table. I tried their tres leches iced latte and the biscoff iced latte and both were so good! I also got their biscoff croissant along with the pastrami sandwich and both of them were pretty decent. The croissant wasn't flaky though - was a little chewy. I did feel the price of the food items to be on the higher side. I also tried their mango passionfruit summer drink which wasn't on the menu but it tasted refreshing. The interior is really pretty and the service is quick. Pretty good spot if you don't want to travel all the way downtown to visit a nice cafe with good ambiance!

This is a cute little coffee shop in Scarborough with delicious and creative drinks! I got to try the Tiramisu Latte which actually had a distinct Tiramisu taste and was very well priced compared to other coffee shops. The interior is well decorated, cozy, and well kept. I'd recommend this place much more than the Starbucks down to road for sure.

Parking can be a bit busy but usually okay. The service both times has been patient and kind to explain the various options. We decided to go with a milk cake with half lotus and half Dubai chocolate. The cake is soaking in milk which gives it a "wet cake" texture. I imagine it may not be everyone's favorite texture but has decent flavor. The crunchy topping contrasts against the soft, moist cake. The lotus has that nice cookie flavor and crunch while the Dubai chocolate with pistachio offers that chocolate and nutty flavor. I prefer the latter but both are good. We also got a matcha strawberry latte to go. Both really nice to look at and to drink. The matcha has good flavor without being overly bitter while the strawberry provides that fruity sweetness to the drink. Overall, it's a pricier experience but I enjoyed it and will be back.

You can choose to get it either soft or crispy. You can also get pistachio or chocolate sauce on the side. - The iced tiramisu latte was excellent! A recent Yelp elite event introduced me to Kanafani Sweets. I returned for its Dubai chocolate bars. Kanafani Sweets is located in a plaza on the northeast corner of Warden Avenue and Lawrence Avenue East. It's in the same plaza as the Potato Bar. I had no problem finding parking. I pulled into a parking spot in front of the store and walked in. The order pickup area was in front of me. I read the signs and the order area was a few steps deeper into the store. I had the nicest woman who cheerfully said hi. She was helpful with answering my question and offering suggestions. She showed me the qashtuta, which was milk cake. She let me know that I could either get a solid flavour, such as Biscoff, or do three different flavours, such as Biscoff, hazelnut, and Dubai chocolate. Wow! My Yelp experience consisted of having knafeh, which I absolutely love. She said that it could be made soft or crispy. I love crispy. She also let me know that I could get either pistachio or chocolate sauce on the side. I went with the former. For the drink, she shared what was popular. The iced tiramisu latte was one of them. I love tiramisu. I was down checking out an iced drink version. I got a buzzer for my order. The knafeh takes roughly ten minutes to make. I sat in a comfy chair near the order area. It was nice to relax after driving for over an hour to get here. I used the washroom. There's an individual stall for women. It was clean, cheerful, and pleasant. I used it again just before I left to run a few errands before heading home. I watched the buzzer light up. I headed to the pickup area. The nice woman had my order ready. She let me know that I got a brownie bite on the house. It was so generous! I thanked her and headed to my table to chow down. The iced tiramisu latte was exceptional. I got a lady finger that I could dip into my drink. The espresso was a good strength with the cocoa. It had milk. You can substitute the espresso for decaf, and the milk for a dairy-free or lactose-free substitute. I didn't bother. It was nicely iced and a good size to wash down everything that I ate. I loved the complimentary brownie bite. The brownie core was delicious. The crispy exterior provided a nice contrast. It was enjoyable to devour! I loved the knafeh. It already had syrup on it. I got syrup on the side, as well as pistachio sauce. I poured the pistachio sauce over the knafeh. So good! The knafeh had cheese inside. It was stretchy and hot. Over time, the cheese lost its stretchy factor as it cooled. It was yummy with the right balance of crispiness and chopped pistachios with the pistachio sauce. The syrup made the knafeh slightly sweet. The sweetness was perfect for my liking. The knafeh was excellent. I have been trying to find a decent place that makes Dubai chocolate bars. Before visiting this store, most places made their bars on their own, but they were too soft. It was as if I looked at the bar and it melted on its own out of fear. I bought a bar of Dubai chocolate Lotus to enjoy. I paid with a credit card and included a tip because staff are so helpful and friendly. This bar was excellent. The crispy filling had Lotus cookie spread in it. The milk chocolate held everything together. I was impressed. I will be back to get the regular bar next. It's such a gem of a Palestinian dessert place. I'll be back. (439)
